I drive past China Cafe every. single day. Just haven't been here in almost 2 years because of the service. However, they're one of the few carry outs in the area whose prices are still fairly reasonable so that's what prompted my visit on this "Friday Eve" 2/12/26. Two stars for the service. I will never understand why so many (NOT ALL) carryout owners are so snarky, short tempered, non-emotional, cold, rude ... pick an adjective. They clearly articulate it's all about the money. Sadly, it was the same lady, oozing the same negativity. *Sigh* Usually four stars for their food ... just not this time because I ordered pepper steak with NO onions but got a dish full of them anyways. If you are remotely familiar with my reviews you already know I ordered dumplings and wonton soup. Thankfully, I have NO complaints about either one of those. One star for the ambiance butttt it IS just a lil roadside carryout so I never expect much. Despite the owner's personality flaws ... I'll probably return. Just like the owners ... it's all about the money for me too. In my case, the desire to spend less of it. Looking forward to hearing YOUR opinion. read more

This restaurant is under new ownership and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food I have ordered has been very good. The hot and sour soup is amazing and the food is always hot and fresh. The staff are very efficient and friendly. It's become my favorite place for carryout. read more

Allentown Road location: Do not order Chicken dishes as they are not real chicken!!! I have no idea what they are using in the dishes such as chicken and broccoli or hunan chicken. The veggies were fine but the chicken we gave to the wild animals! The sweet and sour chicken was white meat and okay. The soups and spring rolls are good. The fried rice isn't good. Ok so I ordered the Singapore noddles. Which used to be my favorite since this Carryout was the reason why I started eating it in the first place. So today I wanted the same thing. Got it home opened it and it smelled funny. Then I started eating some. Then I tasted a foul taste followed by nausea. I will take a pic of what the old pork look like. You can kill someone with old pork. Why serve this to someone. So I start pulling out all the pork slices all of them have a foul odor. Then the noodles don't have little to none curry on them I'm confused! I think there going down hill. What happened to the cooks back in 2000? We will never know. Woman there has a terrible attitude in the evening. I asked for white rice instead of pork rice because I wasn't told over the phone that it was pork. She mumbled under her breath as if giving rice was a big deal. She attempted to start yelling!.. I won't be back & if you like good service where you patronize I suggest avoiding this place. My go-to spot outside of the city. Clean place, polite service. They've downsized on the wings in recent years but they're still quality. Mumbo Sauce is pretty good and not watered down like alot of places. Never really had the Chinese food but if you need Wings/Fries or Wings/Rice...China Cafe is a safe bet. Have ordered take out here through Uber eats a few times. Their family meal comes with a lot of food and I think it's a great deal: 2 spring rolls, wonton soup, lo mein, fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken for $23! This has become our go to Chinese restaurant. read more

Go to spot for carry out. Quick and affordable. I always order the 5 piece wing with fries, an egg roll, shrimp fried rice, and ice tea lemonade mix. The only thing I'm not happy about is the size of the wings. When I first started coming here (why I favored China Cafe over other carry outs) the wings were huge, now the wings are getting smaller and smaller. read more

Grew up going here and we used to love it. Came back a few years ago and it definitely changed. Management and the quality of food was dismal. But today, I got the regional favorite of 4 wings and fries and I can say it was great just like it did when I was a teen. read more

I orders through the Yelp app and called to confirm it was placed. I got a little sassi-ness from the woman who picked up the phone stating it been ready, and her tone was not pleasant. Ding...bad off start!!! I called to confirm not to be told it been ready like you were waiting on me to pick it up for an hour. I got to the restaurant approximately 30 minutes after I placed my order. The estimation of my order to be done was 15-20 minutes per Yelp. I walked into this establishment (clean from the eye as there were no furnishings) and informed the lady who came up to the front area that I was picking up my order indicating what exactly I requested. She proceeded to go to the back area. I sensed urgency and a bad aura from this lady. I paid for my order as it included a family members food as well and left. If it was just my order. I probably would have left it there cause of the attitude presented. Of course I would not be returning to them based on customer experience hence the three stars. This restaurant gets three stars because the food was not bad. It was my first time having orange colored shrimp fried rice yet it was pleasing the tastebuds. I am big on customer service so anything unpleasant will keep me away from a business and no longer wanting to put my funds in it. read more

Best Vegetable Fried Rice I have ever had! The egg rolls are pretty good too! The Orange Chicken and General Tso Chicken is worth a try.
