The staff were also super nice and helpful, and we couldn't resist getting some of their homemade cookies that were absolutely delicious. If they have the cherry cookies while you're there, grab one! Heck, grab five and enjoy one while you're strolling down the strip of unique shops, just make sure you finish before you head into the little art gallery and gift shop, which is also a must-see!

I understand the grocery store has a closing time but the staff should expect a 5-10 minute delay in closing for customers to finish shopping. They can always lock the door and then unlock for a customer to leave. There's an appropriate way to let customers know when it's time to go but not the way the store employee approached me. They signed up for the job so complaining to me is unacceptable and absolute horseshit. The staff should be talked to.

It's nice to have a little place like this in Study Butte for the community; I'd bet if you go a little farther eg into Terlingua there are other spots but this grocery store is like less than 10 mins from the entrance to big bend so it's very convenient if you need to pick something up on the way in or out of the park!

They even have a bulk section with a lot of spices, so that was nice. It is a little bit pricey but I guess that's the cost to pay to be autonomous in the desert for a few days. Definitely the best stop you can make before Big Bend National Park.
