Russ and Debbie, the owners, were so accommodating, enjoyable, helpful and easy going; people you could just spend all day talking to. There are some RV spaces to camp here so we stayed on site to make set up a little easier on the day of the memorial. We had family that rented a quaint one bedroom cabin on site as well. There is an outdoor covered kitchen area with a huge refrigerator, which allowed us to bring food in advance and prep the day before. It was all so convenient! They were in the path of the Dixie fire, so the drive out there is baron, but don't let that deter you. Once you arrive, you are surrounded by green trees and stunning scenery. It was a perfect hidden gem. We are so pleased with our entire experience at lassen meadows and would absolutely recommend it and use this venue again for other events.

The fam and I got to take a quick covid-cation here. The houses are all pretty large, with great open floor plans, yards, decks out front and in back, big driveways and garages for all the toys you could ever need, and amenities that let you use them when you want. There are two rec areas in the neighborhood, both incredibly well appointed with playgrounds for kids, private beaches, bbq grills, and boat ramps. Everything was well maintained and very clean. In normal times they also have events and entertainment for residents too! People were practicing social distancing and being quite respectful of each other. It was nice to be able to enjoy these types of spaces without concern. "If I had a million dollars" I'd sure as heck buy a house right here and keep it for the fam for years to come!

This went on for 4 holes until they finally let us skip a couple holes. We in total waited 45 minutes to an hour in all, waiting for other groups to pass us. What should've been a 2-3 hour day, turned into a 5 hour day. Super bummed out with the customer service and definitely do not recommend if you have a group over 5.

The service was outstanding!! The casino was small but nice. Downside it's an hour and 45 minute drive from Sacramento.

We waited almost 10 minutes for somebody to come up. They did not tell us where to go. They did not help us out. We got up to the shack, we went past the shack. That was the first clue that we probably should've just turned around $300 for four of us and we got treated like shit we got to the fourth hole and we weren't going fast enough for the people behind us, which we were on time within three minutes after them, making us late at the clubhouse three of us was in the green. One of us was in the sandpit and she was getting her ball and the guy from up above which was Brad's student hits a ball in about hits my friend wife in the head within 5 feet we did not say anything, but we just kept on going. We got the whole six and then the Ranger came around Brad and was real asshole and told us we needed to speed it up and we let him know that we weren't that far behind and then the people behind us cause they were the ones complaining which we didn't know that they were friends at that time then I let him know that people behind us hit the ball and almost hit somebody and he started making excuses for I did say I was gonna stick the golf ball up the guy's ass. If he hit somebody, he did not like that. He took that as a threat, but hitting some way with the golf balls a threat too he favoritism his student they ruined the game for us and we got threatened to get kicked out then we hit the guard shack again and the guy tells us it's illegal to play six people in the game that we get kicked out. We knew the people in front of us, but they were not playing with us. We caught up to them one time and we talked to him for a few minutes and that was it because they were waiting for the people in front of them because they were going extremely slow. These guys need to do better like I said they ruined a game that we were having fun at over Brad the Ranger and he is a instructor there too. I hope Rolling Hills sees us and does something because when we talk to the people down below, they said he's an issue, especially the ones that clean the carts they do not like him

The Golf Course was an excellent condition and it is challenging enough for a low handicap golfer as well as forgiving enough for a relatively high handicap golfer. That is a rare combination. They do have an area that serves drinks and some food, but do not have a full restaurant. The carts are in good condition but do not have GPS.
