Food: Calamari was amazing! Super fresh, melt in your mouth strips ( not rings). The boyfriend is VERY picky but he loved these ones. Burger was huge and they even had a gluten free bun, which is hard to find. Bun was toasted and soft. Drinks: The bloody Mary's hit the spot, they do it up on the toppings. I even got some pork belly on top! Had one of their espresso martinis, also delish. They make it creamy which I love, I usually ask for it creamy. Lastly the lavender lemon drop was another great drink, super refreshing and it'll sneak up on ya!!! They do live music most Saturday nights as well!!

Rob & Linda Hart, who run the Inn & Coventry Gardens, are amazing! They were so sweet & welcoming & they made us feel right at home! The Old Town Mercantile that's inside the Inn offers a wide variety of neat gifts including some really cool vintage items. As gorgeous as the grounds are during the day you have to see them at night when their decorative lights are on. We stayed in The Blue Room & it was spacious & beautiful. Everything was clean & well stocked. With a view of the grounds & Coventry Gardens from several of the many windows & the large private bathroom with a tub & handheld shower, staying here was a real pleasure! Unfortunately for myself, during my stay here I ended up having internal electrical problems (absolutely NO fault from the campground). I have Tmobile, which means you will not have service for calls, only "satellite texting" available, if you have that plan. The RV park also has no wifi. However, that wouldn't be an issue...if my rig was working properly. Fortunately for us, Kari helped us out!!! Not only did she let us use her phone to make a bunch of phone calls for mobile mechanics, but she let us connect to the business wifi so we could use our phones to research solutions while at the office. She was SO kind, understanding, and willing to help in anyway she could. Even though we arrived with all sorts of problems, she went above and beyond to make sure we were kept warm and happy. Now for the RV park itself...it is located in the BEAUTIFUL Childs Meadow. Just a few minutes away from Lassen Volcanic National Park's entrance and visitor center. The prices were extremely fair. Full hookups around here were a gem to find. Franks (the restaurant directly in front of the RV park) had the friendliest staff who made us feel welcomed immediately, with a nice selection of comfort foods available. We also ate across the street at the nice sit-down restaurant and WOW it's a must! It was so good we went back twice for dinner. If you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL area in the woods, with the kindest staff, and best amenities around for the location and price, then The Village at Highlands Ranch (RV Park) is highly recommended!

Room is spacious, even for a party of 4. There is also an area outside to lounge as well as an area for dogs, although the area for dogs is not well kept. Luckily, there is Chester Park about 5 minutes a walk away, which is super dog friendly. Parking lot contains EV chargers. Noise-wise, we stayed in a room on the first floor, and you could hear the people upstairs walking around. You can also hear noise outside as well.

This went on for 4 holes until they finally let us skip a couple holes. We in total waited 45 minutes to an hour in all, waiting for other groups to pass us. What should've been a 2-3 hour day, turned into a 5 hour day. Super bummed out with the customer service and definitely do not recommend if you have a group over 5.
