All the sites located in the very front of the park were on grass by a pond, which meant no dust and not having to wash the coach or car after our stay. This park is located across the road from the lake which made for a beautiful view from our site. We were in the site closest to the front and the road, but traffic was minimal and we found it peaceful enough to sit outside and enjoy the sound of the pond frogs and the view. Too many large trees here for satellite reception. Almost the whole park (in the back) consists of long term residents but their sites were all clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay but would have prefered staying in a level site.

We used their website to reserve site 14, which showed it was on the end. We arrived after a long day of driving our Class A and towing a trailer. After checking in, a very grumpy man 'escorted' us to our spot. He showed us the wrong spot and we said we need to speak to someone. We had to go back to the front and my husband spoke to a very snotty young lady and tried to sort it out. He showed her on his phone the spot on their reservation site that we reserved and she agreed, but needed to call the owner. At this point I came to the office to try to reason with them. After awhile, an extremely rude man came in with a terrible attitude. He was constantly on his phone; either pretending to be busy or recording me. Who knows. When we tried to rationally talk to him and show him the site we reserved on their website, he laughed and said, "I don't have to do anything. I'm the owner and I can do whatever I want." He refused to even look at our phone to show him that their reservation website is wrong. We paid an extra $25 to lock this site. He said both sites were patio sites, but one is on the end with more separation and some trees blocking the site next to it, while the other has another site right on top of them. The sites here are the closest I have seen in four months of traveling full time. And just to add, the road noise is pretty bad, and what is the deal with the resort fee? So overpriced for what you are getting. Never was there an apology. Their solution was for us to move on the day the others arrived. No other option. We spent almost $1,000 there for eight nights. he obviously did not care about our business. What a way to run a place. We only stayed one night because it was late and there was nowhere else to go. We left the next day and they charged us for two nights and refunded the rest. This place was a terrible experience that literally left me in tears in how we were treated. Highly recommend skipping this overpriced joke of a place.

I clicked on the big blue button takes me to the middle of the next page where it says book now, I clicked book now and the very next page just asks for your payment information, what I did not know was that the website changed the dates to 07/06 instead of check in 07/04 like I entered, I received the confirmation email with the wrong date so I called them immediately and Mary who answered the phone said sorry too bad no refunds on holidays! I tried to explain to her and she wasn't caring one bit about it, gaslighting me to the best of her ability. She then said well I can change the site for it I ended up having to pay more money for an RV site cuz was the only thing available besides a plain site without W&E like I had already paid for. Then I went to look some of the reviews and I saw a picture and the RV site is gravel, she never mentioned that to me I asked her how am I going to put a tent on top of gravel??' Again their response is that that's none of their problem they already took my money if I want to come good if not good, they do not care! I made a complaint with BBB for the way that they have been conducting business and misleading and cheating on people! Called to see if I could change my reservation since I cannot drive due to Dr.'s orders but no dice. Could care less and told me too late due to policy. Offered to provide doctors documentation but didn't matter. I did not ask for refund just to change the date. Rude, dismissive and unwilling to work with me. Sad that a family-oriented place is run this way. End result I am out over $600 and they are smiling. As a business owner myself I would be out of business if I treated my customers this way.

He went about a half block to check breaker said that it was not flipped but it was wobbling pretty loose in there. My husband is a licensed electrician and of course had his own my testing equipment. It showed 25 amp coming out of it. So he said move to spot 50. Well before we moved our vehicle we went down there and checked it and he took off before we could. And guess what the exact same problem. We did not even hook into the second one. So he proceeded to tell us that it was our equipment that had gone bad. Even though we never plugged into spot 50! I had planned on one night thank God! He did refund our $52. we had to drive down the road and try to find someplace else at 7:00 in the evening. Another thank God, the Walmart about 10 or 15 miles down the road would allow overnight. So we are now on our way to our next location which is about a 7 hour drive. We are just hoping that they did not damage our equipment. It has been extremely stressful if you go there you better watch out!

We decided to spend another weekend at Moose Hillock for the 4th of July. It's been a few years…read moresince our last holiday visit, and this time around did not disappoint. We booked pretty late and still managed to reserve a site, which was great! The spots are spacious and pretty private and that's always our preference. Check in wasn't too bad. The only complaint was not being clearly told we needed specific golf cart insurance prior to arrival. It was our first time traveling with our cart and we didn't know. We added it on while we were there and had no other issues. The pool was such a blast. It doesn't get too deep, which is great because we have a little one and could take him all over the pool. I could have stayed in that pool all day! It was a really hot weekend. We had an amazing time. We would love to go more often but there was a 3 night minimum. We can't always commit to a short getaway that's this long. But we had a great time and I'd highly recommend.

On the 4th was a golf cart parade, one man band at the pool from 12-2pm and a magician from 7p-8p. The whole week had very minimal maybe an hour of candy bar bingo here and there (once a day). No local fireworks or parades were advertised. Unfortunately I think they really put the hype into the pool but after 4 days of just pool it gets boring. It's definitely more for your little kids. The pool is only 4 feet deep and the slides are nice and slow. We enjoyed our time there but for the price and no activities we probably won't be going back.
