This place is not dentistry, It should be lake country ripoff, they charge you for items they do not even do!!!! And the owner is in my estimation a complete fool. He charged me for items that were not done!! Do yourself a favor, make sure you know exactly what they are doing and do not sign ANYTHING without reading it !! Be smart !! Fraud! They defrauded my insurace company of $978 for 2 procedures I never had done on a day when I was never there! I'm limited on how much dental I'm allowed so they defrauded my insurance of almost $1,000 AND now my limit is lowered! Watch your claim papers carefully! It's aggravating I had to leave one star! I've been getting my teeth cleaned and monitored here for most of my life. I'm a 19 year old girl and I feel that others could benefit from knowing these things, before you adopt this place as your primary dentist. First and foremost, we all know that medical needs in this fine country are made into cash grabs even for the smallest problems. This office is no exception. I went in for a cleaning and checkup during which they found a small cavity on my back molar. I scheduled a filling and they claimed it did not need a root canal. I went in for said appointment and they filled my cavity. Days go by and the slightest amount of pressure would cause excruciating pain. I go in once again and they claim that I need a root canal to make the pain go away which I think is so excessive for a tiny cavity on an (at the time) 17 year old. After this root canal, they claimed they didn't have enough time to put in a permanent filling and they put in a temporary one instead, leaving a ginormous gaping hole in my molar for what felt like a month. It was disgusting. As you can guess, it filled up with food every day and reeked. A water pic may have helped. They also shot me up with an insane amount of local anesthetic, my right eye went lazy to the point where I couldn't drive and they basically laughed in my face. I go in and get the permanent filling. All was well for a few weeks until I hate a late night snack of bacon. My filling broke in half, leaving the inside of my tooth exposed. This office is always backed up and you have to wait months to get anything taken care of, even if it's extremely uncomfortable. Emergencies I think are okay. I go in to get it repaired and they tell me I need a crown that costs 1k that is not covered my my insurance. I had no choice. The day I got my crown installed they made my mom pay the entire first half in full and I was so upset that I had to have a fake tooth at 17 when I only had a small cavity. Here comes the craziest part. Their insurance policies on crowns are burdensome and tedious to say the least. I was lucky enough to be next to a man who had heard the insurance policy for the first time after he had already broken a crown. He was furious and understandably so. They make you come in for a cleaning every two months for your crown to remain covered my insurance and if this policy is broken, you'll have to pay for the cost of a new one in full. 1k. If you're a college student, this is near impossible. They were about to send me on my way without even telling me about the policy until I spoke up and asked about it. They then sent back one of their interns who briefly and regretfully told me. My stomach was just sick. So luckily for the sake of my guilt, they stopped accepting my insurance. So even had I followed their insane, nearly impossible policy, my dental care for my fake tooth I didn't need wouldn't be covered anyway. They won't even refer me to get my wisdom teeth removed because I need to make an appointment with them first. (Which obviously isn't covered by insurance) Go somewhere that isn't overtaken by greed. With the state of the world and high sugar content in everything we eat, dental care should not be this taxing on the public. At very least, Doctor Easton is a very nice and pretty lady but she'll mess you up for a small issue that's for sure. I'm going to leave a picture of the hole they left after the temporary filling. This was left for at least 2-3 weeks and definitely contributed to the tooth breaking. read more

Don't do it unless desperate. I had minor sensitivity in which I was told I would need to get filled. I didn't realize how blessed I was to have great dental care before until I went here. Got teeth cleaning that was basically like me, brushing my own teeth . When I got the dental filling, they numbed me without warning with a needle.Then filled it and over drilled the filling, I told her I could fill it and she stopped and then said I was done. My mouth has been more sensitive since the filling. I was better off before just using Sensodyne. read more

Update! After seeing another dentist who informed me that my tooth very clearly had two roots and only one was treated, I contacted the regional manager of this office. I very quickly recieved a phone call from the office with a sincere apology and offer for compensation. Still wouldn't trust them with my dental care. read more

Dr Sarah Easton is a very caring, professional dentist. She is very careful to not cause any pain and will ask the patient if she is causing any pain throughout the procedure. I need more than one procedure done in a limited time because I'm leaving the area for five months. Dr Easton is getting me in to get the dental work done before I have to leave. She got mad at me because I couldn't understand her broken English and she just walked away with no explanation of anything! Dr Sarah Easton is a cruel woman. I have dry socket and an infection and she refused to look at it or treat it and accused me of wanting drugs. Dry socket and infection was confirmed by Cleveland clinic but Sarah treated me like an animal and called me a liar. Heartless, cruel woman that shouldn't be practicing on humans. I've been going to this dental office for over 15yrs. Myself and my kids,and I must say Dr. Caroussello was the best. These new young dentist they have in there now are the absolute worse. I had to keep going back for bonding of my 2front teeth that kept chipping. Then out if nowhere one of my teeth fell out if my head!! Just like that. Then the dentist leaves the practice. Now I'm stuck trying to get it fixed and only to get the run around about when my scheduled appointment is exactly!! Take your services elsewhere. Do not use this place!! Unfortunately, I will NOT be continuing with this office! First experience to pull a troublesome tooth went OK. Female dentist, wonderful hygienists, took he less than 30 min for entire procedure. Second appointment... FRIGHTENING! Very handsome male dentist, extremely fidgety hygienist needed to pull a bothersome molar. Few shots of Novocain, 2 handed pulling, ripping and poking then turned to straddling and yanking. By now extreme pain BUT it finally came out. Got infected and took forever to heal, HOWEVER even after this I would still go back. The staff overall is fun, kind, upbeat, and comforting. There was a problem with insurance this is where it begins. The insurance Co. informed me all that needs to be done is for the office to call them and they will pay invoices within 48hrs. Relaying this information to the Woman in charge of billing, I was told "we can't do that". Lasting for eight months now, I have kept in contact with the office informing Her of what is being done. The invoices have been paid due to me calling the Insurance Co. they simply paid 3 invoices manually. Billing Woman allowed me to make an appointment to start a partial (front teeth). Letting her know I may have to call Insurance, they already said they will pay. Arriving for my appointment, greeted by FABULOUS receptionist, Evil steps in. I sat Evil because from the beginning SHE has spoken down, as if I am ignorant, and used a raised harsh tone. Today this happened in the office, the open office 4 patients waiting in ear shot. After driving 25min to the office, she announces I won't be seen. Trying to speak with her, on the side privately, she chooses to stand back sternly raise her voice so all can hear (nobody's business). Warning! I had a terrible experience at Lake County Dental. I was trying a new dental office because my old office doesn't take my new insurance. The only positive here is that the office staff at the front desk were nice and welcomed me as a new patient but I had a feeling something was up when I sat down in the crammed waiting room. I thought how can all these people be here at the same appointment time? I found out soon enough. My "cleaning" started with a plethora of x-rays to which no explanation was given. The hygienist was wearing gloves, however, then typed on her keyboard, used the computer mouse, then cell phone without changing gloves before putting her hands back in my mouth. Other commonly touched items in the office were not protected by disposable (hygienic) plastic like I've seen in other offices. The dentist arrived just as the hygienist began roughly scraping my teeth and only introduced herself after peering into my mouth ever so briefly, then she was off. My "cleaning" ended about 15 minutes later (total time inside the office door, 20 minutes). Then the hygienist roughly scraped the tooth polisher across my bottom teeth. I wasn't even given an option to rinse and had gritty polish stuff in my mouth the rest of the day. NO cancer screening was given by either the hygienist or the dentist. This is an important fact as mouth cancer runs in my family. It was clear to me as I exited through the packed waiting room that those patients were about to be run though the same "mill" I had been run through. My teeth were not cleaned! My experience there inspired me to call my insurance for the first time in my life to tell them that I suspected something was really amiss at this office and I told my insurance not to pay them. It was so bad that it's inspired me to write my first dental Yelp post ever. read more

I went to Lake County dental, I had problems with a Stainless Steel crown, this was the second one that I had, unfortunately, they do not last very long, The problem I had, was with the possible feeble attempt of the dentist, that tried to pull my tooth, She gave me a couple shots to numb the area, she came back in a couple minutes, and tried to pull my tooth, After about 15 to 20 minutes of prodding ,pocking and trying to pull, she got no where, she then proceeded to cut the tooth or drill it in half, after about another 20 minutes, she finally got the one half out, now she tried about another 15 minutes to get the other half out, that did not work, so she cut or drilled the other half in half,? That quarter finally came out, now, the last quarter , she pulled proudded and pocked at that for about 15 minutes, then she says to me, if there would be any more of the root, it would eventually work it's way out ,?? [[ Total time now, being one hour and fifteen minutes, for just one tooth . Now she mentions that she wanted to put a couple stitches in , I told her no way, as the wound needs to heal from the out side in ? My Mom had a tooth pulled before, and the dentist put a couple stitches in, she had to go back to the dentist every couple days to drain it, as it started to get infected .I had 4 teeth pulled before by Dr. Caresello in one siting, it took him 45 minutes for 4 ??? I also forgot to mention, that before she tried to get the last two pieces, she gives me another 3 to 4 shots as it was starting to get pretty sore. I am sure the new owner of this practice, would not be very pleased with one of his employees spending a Hour and 15 minutes to pull just one tooth. this place is a butcher shop. i had an appointment and at the last minute they cancelled it with no reason and told me to call to get another one. everytime i call they say to call back. the last experience i had the place was dirty, the staff was rude and had no compassion. you wait forever but all i saw was everyone sitting on their butts playing with their phones and gossiping. the dentist seemed like he was drunk or on drugs because he didnt know what he was doing. he hurt me and just kept going. i had to go to the er later because i was bleeding and in pain. when i called him he could have cared less.
