We came for the Introduction to Sailing class. It was the perfect Orlando winter day, the sky clear, 65 degree weather. There is an adorable mascot guarding the building - Rags, such a sweetie pie. Our instructor, Steve was very friendly and informative, he has been sailing his whole life and this is second nature to him, we spent a couple of hours out on the lake and I have to say that I loved it!! There was another couple on the boat that were super sweet and we definitely had a great time learning and hearing all of the stories Steve had to tell about the area way back when. I fell in love with sailing and we are hoping to get the lessons for two in the near future. I can't wait. read more

What a gem! Close to College Park/Downtown and affordable. Like another poster, I also woke up on a Sunday and thought it would be a good idea to rent a boat. We rented a little electric catamaran that seats two people. It's slow moving but was great to just putter around the lake for 3 hours. There were other boaters and jet skiers out there as well. The electric chaise lounge has room on the sides for a bag or a small cooler and you can sit on the side and just hang your feet in the water. We will definitely be back and will probably rent a pontoon boat next time around. The Yelper who gave this place 2 stars is not actually rating the marina - I believe she is rating the park next door. The marina does have bathrooms and is not for public access to the water. read more

Great rental! Got a pontoon boat $90for 2 hour. Told us where to beach it for lunch and the brand new motor ran flawlessly.

We usually use this marina for jet skiing since its the closest to College Park, and its nice and quiet out on the lake most days. Negatives: no restrooms, no water fountain, sketchy neighbors hang out in the pavilion (not good for kids). This marina is convenient & good for a quick trip on the lake. Plus its free! Nice to make a day out of it and bring a cooler to sit under the shaded pavilion, just beware of the vagabonds that hang out here. read more

Spur of the moment Sunday morning random day, woke up and said I wanna do something different. So I Showed up at 9 am to see if they had a boat to rent and they did!! Rented a pontoon boat for the day. It was a blast. Brought a little cooler with drinks and snacks. Will definitely go back. The lake was super laid back. How rare to find an "inland marina" where I can store my boat and receive service like you would expect from a larger marina. The boat storage is reasonable and you just call ahead and they bring the boat around for you. You can launch it yourself or they will launch and retrieve for a small fee. They have a place to clean your boat and they have a full service repair facility. More importantly, the lake is nice. Plenty of room for just cruising, fishing, or skiing. We like to take the tube out there or just cruise around the lake. Plus the staff is great and super friendly! If you need to store your boat and you live in the Orlando area, this really should be your first stop. read more

This review is for the storage facility at this marina. I had a boat dry stored here for 2 years, sold that boat, bought another boat after 2 years, and stored it again here. Owner (Cathy) and staff are friendly and professional. Rates are very reasonable, so much so that now they have a waiting list for storage (wet or dry). I would recommend this marina 100%. read more

Introduction to sailing was a great experience only made better by the very attentive staff. My husband surprised me with a fun date day on a Saturday morning. He told me that he spoke to Kathy who was very accommodating and helpful in scheduling the class. We have previously been leisure sailing as passengers letting the crew and captain do the work...Not today! This was hands on training from start to finish. We were fortunate to have Jane as our instructor and guide into the sailing lifestyle. Her passion for sailing was contagious. We walked away with great respect for sailing and are intrigued to continue. read more

Had an absolute blast taking Intro to Sailing with Mario. The staff are all excellent, including the office pup, Rags. The lake is nice (on the smaller side) but easy to access and launch. Would highly recommend! read more

We rented a sailboat here a while ago. What a mistake! This place is unprofessional and potentially dangerous on so many levels. The rudder broke (appeared to be missing screws) while we were in the middle of the lake which left us stranded. We called the office and they sent a guy out to get us. It took him over half an hour to get out to us. On the ride back, this guy actually told us that if it had been storming, he would not have come and they would have left us on the lake. While we certainly understand not wanting to go out on a lake in a storm, if they rent out defective equipment that makes a boat unsteerable, then they had better damn well go pick up stranded customers. We get back to the marina and the receptionist offers to let us take another boat out to finish out our rental time. They did not have any more in the size that we had rented, so they gave us the next size up. When we returned the second boat, the receptionist wanted not only to charge us for the entire time at the rate of the larger boat, she was also going to charge us for the time that we waited in the broken boat for them to tow us back. These people were so dense about customer service it was unbelievable. Use them at your own risk. read more

Rented a boat for a 4-hour sail. The ship's store here is neat, clean, and well organized. The best thing about this marina is the staff. Cynthia Johnson (one of the co-owners) was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly. She and her staff were a pleasure to do business with This was a great experience at a place I could not recommend more highly.. read more

THERE ARE BATHROOMS AT THE MARINA - there are cleanly maintained Porta Potties and a restroom in the office area/parts store. The staff at the marina are absolutely wonderful! A day on the lake is just what everyone needs! read more

What a great place! A true gem. I have driven by this place for years and finally stopped and I am so glad I did! The staff was incredibly personable and enthusiastic about what they do. A huge amount of options from storage, parts and rentals - they even have a pavilion they rent (they call it "the tiki hut")! Beautifully maintained and I can't say enough about the customer service. We were so impressed with the operation we booked a pontoon boat rental for next week and are bringing the entire family. If you haven't been there - you should go! read more

I went there around Christmas 2012 and they were very friendly people with very fair prices. I rented a pontoon for 2 hours with a couple of friends. We had an awesome time. I would recommend renting a boat at this place to anyone looking to get out for some cheap fun for a small group of people. read more

Great staff, very knowledgeable with great customer service. The also have a outside building { Tike Hut style with a bar area and seating } looking over the lake for parties and events ! Pontoon rentals, paddle board lessons, boat storage and repair services, they also have everything for your boating needs. I have been they for several events and for paddle board lessons. The area seemed a little rough. The people were very nice. We rented a pontoon boat for $45 per hour. For this price I expected a little nicer boat. It was clean and ran ok, but had many vibrations and quirks. It was an old boat with deck chairs, no cup holders, and a bit of a junkie console. read more

these guys really ripped me off and exploited my lack of knowledge. I ended with a worthless boat, got over charged on repairs, and wasted a whole lot of time better spent if I turned my bank account over to con artist read more
