It's also one of the most important pieces of equipment I own. Recently, the lens was apparently dropped or took a pretty significant hit, and the focus ring would no longer turn. I was horrified. This is my main wildlife lens, and I depend on it for my work. I sent it to Sigma for repair, and once again they reminded me why I've stayed with them for so many years. The turnaround was incredibly fast, but what impresses me even more is the pride they clearly take in their work. Not only was the lens repaired and working perfectly, it came back looking incredible. Honestly, it hasn't looked this new since I bought it. It feels like I got a brand-new lens back. After 14 years of using Sigma equipment, service like this means a lot. When your equipment is how you make your living, knowing the company behind it will take care of you is incredibly important. I shipped it to Sigma from NYC last week and I have it back in my hands today as good as new! Their customer service was communicative throughout the repair process and really put me at ease. I was happy to have it back so quickly. This repair is a third of the cost of buying a new lens so I'm happy that it worked out.

A women with a cart filled with around 15-20 items next to me had the cashier scan almost all her items. When I asked her for help she said she was helping this customer. I said your scanning all her items. She so no as I was standing there watching Laura . She came over and give me a attitude about how she was there for customer service. I said on self check out you're not suppose to scan all the items. (Why have self check out?) I gave up trying to reason with her, paid the total after another associate came over to see what was going on. Next will be a call to corp.
