This is the most consistent restaurant I've been too from New Caney to Kingwood. The boudin balls, drinks, burgers, and wings are good. The parking lot is a fairly decent size, so there is always parking. The music and vibe is perfect for the 90's and under crowd. The service is always great and considerate. The food was good, I loved their mango habanero wings and would definitely recommend checking out their daily specials. They have a mini arcade center on one side which was pretty cool. First time visitor was in Kingwood and the Texans game was in 3rd qtr so I decided I wanted to see ending along with the rest of the games. Plenty of parking and plenty of room inside even though it looked small from outside. Sat at the bar and they had 7-8 TVs all perfect angle and clear and all the games on. Beer was cold and service was fast and friendly...prices were really good for draft beer They have food also but I had already had lunch and wasn't hungry so I didn't try any food.. For a dive bar this place was surprisingly decent. The lights are kind of dimmed in there but there were so many TV's with different sports on them. Not to mention they also had a dart arcade game and some other arcade games which was cool. They had a big bar area with a good amount of beers on tap and a good liquor selection. The service was great, our server was very nice, as soon as we sat down she came over with some menus explained the happy hour specials and got us some waters to start. My husband and I ordered some burgers and some beer and it was the juiciest burger I've had in a while. I got the Texas Lucy Burger and they put cheese inside the patty which almost made a cheese sauce along with the meat juice! They were also very generous with the fries and I'm glad that the beers come in flight sizes so I can try different ones. The only downside was the water tasted like it was mixed with some kind of cleaning agent. I tried my husbands water and it tasted fine so it was definitely my cup that was just not rinsed properly or maybe just freshly cleaned or somehow got a bit of cleaning agent in it. We didn't mention it to our server, not saying it was her fault or anything but I just didn't drink it. Overall if you're looking for a casual sports bar and a nice normal juicy burger I would recommend this place. read more

The service is excellent as soon as you walk in the door. The food was decent enough. Started with the pepper jack bites. It tasted really good, and you get a lot, but you should for $9. We came in and sat down the waitress looked directly at us and walked by us 4 times she only had two tables that she was helping,Never said anything to us then went and started carrying on behind the bar with coworkers that i think she is training. Used to enjoy going here years back , but now there's Terrible staff and bartenders this place went downhill . It smells bad and is dirty every time I go in which isn't much anymore. I will gladly over tip but the Sunday I came in to watch a Bears game 30mins early before the games started to ask for tv to be changed. The Male Bartender seemed over whelmed or unwilling to change the tv I saw him accommodate several other guest that came after. When I finally decided to say something he put the game on the smallest tv. The restaurant was not busy and he could have easily accommodated me. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. Sam was a great bartender and made the drinks perfect. We ordered the blackened fish filet. Over 45 minutes later, and asking several times where our food was, they said it would be right out. We sat and watched customers come and go getting their food right away. We requested to make it go since the mgr's attitude was so unpleasant. So before we left, we decided to check it. There was no crawfish or pico on the fish. We asked why, they said they hadn't had crawfish for a long time. Sooo why wouldn't you tell a customer when they ordered it. Get a black marker and mark it out if your not going to have it. They gave us a couple dollars off on the meal and then she blew us off. We asked for a discount on the drinks instead and we're told by a manager they will not do that. This is a friendly, easy going, whole in the wall, sports bar. Their food was awesome (not typical while in the wall food) and varied. Not just burgers and wings. I had the Korean BBQ ribs - outstanding. And their meatloaf was also very good. We were served by Bri (Briana) and she was great. She remembered my name AND my drink from one night to another. Service is always slow... music is 4 out of 10 you can play your own music since it's a juke box type thing but if you request your songs at 10PM they probably won't play until about 12AM lol the crowd is a mix so that playlist is a mix as well, their Moscow mules are good and their strawberry mojito. After arriving back in Houston late on a Sunday out of George Bush airport, I was looking for a spot close by to grab a beer and watch some Sunday Night football. I found The Draft on Yelp and took the plunge. The Draft is your typical sports bar. Lots of TVs, lots of beers, and your usual decor. I sat at the bar and got a beer and a club sandwich with fries. I was more than happy with the bar food, the fries were delicious and the sandwich was huge! I could only finish half of it. Service was a bit slow at the end but friendly. They also have free wifi. One of the highlights of my time at The Draft? Two ladies came in and sat at the bar. They both ordered waters. After about five minutes, they left. What?! The boudin balls I'll put up against anyone in town -- perfectly crisped on the outside, moist and tender inside. The eggrolls are right up there with the best of them. It's very authentic and arrives hot & crispy. How far we've gone from food being a sideshow to the main event. It's nice, too, to have ice.ice. the cold beer arrives at the table.
