Our very first night was super stressful--we rolled in late our first night with our 4 kids, totally overwhelmed. Karen in the front office was an absolute lifesaver. She went completely above and beyond to help us get parked and set up, and her friendly attitude instantly calmed our nerves. Our spot is incredibly spacious, and the laundry facilities are kept super clean (a must-have with 4 kids!). Plus, there is a giant 5-acre field in the back where our kids can run around and burn off energy. We are so grateful for the amazing hospitality here. If you are looking for a long-term spot, we highly recommend Emerald Springs!

It's all over the public green space next to the lake, at the campsite and on the roads. It is next to impossible to walk around without stepping on goose poop. Clearly I can't recommend staying at Lake Pleasant.

We stayed for three (3) nights and every night we wanted to stream something and relax but it was so frustrating that we just gave up. Featuring 25 full hookup sites, each professionally landscaped and with its own picnic table, the sites here are large, level, and you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbors. Most of the sites were back-in, but there are a few pull-through sites too. The on-site bathroom is not only one of the nicest campground restrooms I've ever visited, it's one the nicest restrooms I've ever visited in general. There's also a small coin-op laundry area, utility sink, and even a water bottle filling area inside. The park was clean and quiet during our two night visit. It's also just a few minutes walk (or a level bike ride) to several restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely be adding this to our regular weekend getaway rotation! I definitely recommend getting a reservation, as the park appeared completely full this weekend.

Dog friendly but must remain leashed at all times. Smoking on your own site, even cannabis as long as your not offensive to your neighbours. We are staying for the summer as a working vacation.
