If I could give six stars I would. We rented a pontoon boat yesterday to take a mobility challenged loved one out for a cruise and a picnic. Every single member of the staff went out of their way to help us get her on board and off and to make sure we had a great experience. They have a large selection of pontoons of various sizes, including some with a walkable rooftop with a water slide. Too much fun!!! read more

We looked forward to renting a pontoon boat and were thankful for a beautiful day. Walking up to this establishment it was obvious the signage about distance and masks being worn by employees was not being taken seriously. We watched how the boat was cleaned before we got on and it was quick sprays and wipe downs. The steering wheel was not cleaned, disgusting. Thankfully we had anticipated the lack of cleaning and packed our own wipes and cleaning supplies. However, they need to step it up for the safety of their customers and staff. We would consider renting again as we are in the area frequently but hope that they will consider new practices and measures. Addition: being handed the life jackets with no additional cost is great. However, again watching the staff the jackets were not sanitized or cleaned after. Not cool. read more

Months ago, we had a boat ("the biggest boat") rented out for around 15 people. The day of ...we show up and are informed there's a max of only 10 people now with COVID, etc etc. They claimed hard that they tried to call and inform us of this- they did not. Nonetheless, the guys didn't work with us at all to find a alternative solution and we didn't get out on the lake, nor did they once say they would be refunding us. Just all around bad service by the guys running that spot. Also...no booze and you can barely swim anywhere. If you ever visit here.. boat somewhere else. read more

They have many different boat styles and sizes. The boat rental rate is VERY AFFORDABLE. Especially for larger families on a family friendly budget this place is for you. We have gone multiple times. The service is pretty great. For the price you cant beat it. We normally go fishing and let the kids go swimming a bit. They allow you to bring you pups and actually enjoy seeing your pups. The only bad thing is this lake is on the smaller side. If you plan on a boating picnic or fishing then this lake is perfect. If you want a longer scenic boat ride this lake isn't the location there are other locations with bigger lakes. It would take 1 hour max to cruise the lake. I love this boat rental we will return for many seasons to come. read more

Showed up to get the 16' Pontoon boat I paid for online and reserved only to find out it had a limit of only 4 people. They refused a refund even though the disclaimer is so vague saying you can't exceed the occupancy that is on the panel of the boat. See photo #11. They offered a rain check but the fact that I live out of town made that worthless. There was a line of people looking to either rent a boat or pick up one. The person in front of me asked for a boat to rent and they didn't have any for the entire day so why have a policy of no refund when it is their own fault for the mistake. We went for a few hours to do some fishing and swimming today and had the best time! All the guys working were very friendly and extremely helpful! We commented several times after we left how nice and helpful they were. We made the reservation this morning online and check-in was very easy once we got there. After some instruction on the pontoon boat from one of the employees we were on our way! There were several people on the lake today but it wasn't crowded by any means. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

Awful customer service. Rented a 36' pontoon that seated 20. When our party arrived they informed us that the max allowed on a boat was 10 due to Ohio covid rules. This was never communicated to our group, we would've rented 2 pontoons to fit our group of 15. The employees did not offer any solutions or money back. I booked a boat for a friend's birthday, I read the policy--no cancellations and I had no problem with that since I only had the boat planned that day. However, I tested positive for Covid-19 the day before the scheduled booking so of course I quarantined for the safety of the community. I called the company the same day I found out; figuring that they would show some understanding regarding the situation--I didn't expect them to refund the money, I just wanted to reschedule...so both parties win--they get paid and I get my boat day. Well they didn't answer so I left a voicemail explaining my situation and requesting to reschedule. They never called back. I continued to try to reach them but to no avail. My credit card company even reached out to them on my behalf but they would not allow me to reschedule or issue a refund. Nobody from Lake Logan even contacted me. I will not use this company again and would never recommend them. read more

Incredibly disappointed with the service here. I booked our rental for a 36 ft tritoon boat in May before their website was updated with any COVID restrictions that they put in place. When I booked the boat, their website said a tritoon carried a max of 20 people and we had 15. When we arrived, they claimed that they "called" to inform me of the change that the max had been moved to 10 and they refused to give me a refund. They then referenced the contract we signed which also made no mention of a 10 person max. One of the guys kept telling me that we signed the contract stating a 10 person max and then when I said that there is nothing in the contract mentioning that, he went and grabbed another sheet of paper with no signature indicating the 10 person max change. They failed to abide by their own contract and just let us walk away without a refund on the $700. I'll be reporting their actions and will get a refund through the credit card company. Horrible service. If you're traveling here in the summer, use a different boat rental company. read more

Rented a boat just to show up and the' tell us we had too many people. We had 7 people and no where In the boat description did it list a limit. To top it off despite not using the boat the company would not refund our money and showed no remorse! Terrible customer service. Do not book with this company!! read more

This place is a joke. If you look at all different (tattooed, black, gay) then don't go here. They will ask to search through your belongings after check in, while allowing other basic white families pass by and not give them a second glance. We had done nothing wrong, spent nearly $200 and they treated us like inmates. It's dirty, everyone there looks like a human walking cigarette, they don't clean anything, we chose after the disrespect (they also mocked us behind the counter) and the disgusting state of the staff and the boats AND the life vests (they were taking them off humans and handing them directly to a new stranger) to go ahead and not use their facilities. Had a 36 foot boat rented and let them know we had a party of 18 (boat fits 20), once we get there they didn't let us into the boat and limited it to 10. They didn't think to reach out to let us know, just let us find out. Poor customer service and bad business. Never go here! I'm on a family reunion/vacation out in Hocking Hills. We decided it would be fun to go out on the lake so my parents reserved two boats for the family. The woman on the phone told us that each boat fit 12 people. We were reassured of this MULTIPLE times. (there are 24 of us) when its finally time to suit up and ship out. we were told by the manager that each boat was for 8 people and that they would not let us leave dock with more than 8 people for boat. we asked for larger boats or a third 8-person boat and we were denied. worst of all we were told by the owner that they do not give out refunds, after a 20 minute argument we went back to our cabin. We did not go out on a boat, we did not get to go fishing or swimming, we did not leave the dock, yet somehow we now owe them $200. The lake itself looked quite nice and the boats seemed very clean and sturdy, it's just a shame that the rental people are lying scam artists who won't give you your money back after tricking you into renting boats that are too small for your family. read more

Don't waste your money here! I rented a 20' pontoon boat from this place and the service could not have been worse! First of all, I had to wait so long for someone to help me that it went into my time that I had rented the boat for. I had made my reservation weeks prior but had to wait for them to help folks on line wondering if a boat was even available (with no reservation). What is the point of making a reservation then? Then, after getting out to the middle of the lake, the boat broke down. I called the number I found on the internet and reached someone. It took them 15 minutes to come out and fix the problem with the boat (vapor lock?). In total I was probably out of commission for 25 minutes. I expected the guy who came to tell me to add 15 minutes or so onto my reservation time and apologize for the inconvenience. I didn't get either! I only rented the boat for two hours and 25% of that time the boat didn't work. Last but not least......I left my "collateral", which was my credit card, at the desk and forgot to pick it up before leaving. I realized I didn't have my credit card when I was 15 minutes away from the boat rental. I immediately called and told them I would be heading back and would be there in 15 minutes. When I asked "Will anyone be there?", the response was "Maybe". Seriously? Apparently they were put out by having to stick around for 15 minutes to allow me to grab my credit card. You couldn't pay me to use this place again. read more
