The front desk staff was very nice and she explained that the clubhouse was being remodeled and that there was only one dumpster available to us, once again, with it being off-season. Quite a few single wide trailers that are used during on season by regular residents that sat empty, the center area was reserved for trailers, it seemed. Like I said, it's okay.

The COVID-19 outbreak has changed all this for the month of April. Now we must all avoid close contact with other people to keep this deadly virus from spreading like wildfire. The Encore RV corporation should use this campground as an example of what all campgrounds should do to insure a pleasant stay! The new manager has locked all the gates going to the big dog park, where they don't clean or weed, has also has a padlock. Most residents prefer to use it as it is sand. The new dog park is smaller and has a kitty litter base, which also doesn't get cleaned, but it irritates the paws. They expanded the storage area, the chain link has not been stretched to be tight, have added a screen, so it acts like a wind sock with rattles. I used to brag about this park and encourage friends to check it out. Now we have weeds everywhere and garbage blowing around, and the so called maintenance is nearly useless. Fingers crossed that all this changes.
