This past weekend was perfect weather wise. Upper 70's with 60's at night. The only negative with that was it was almost too cold to swim. The water in the pool was freezing cold. We tried to stay in as long as we could but it was sharp. The big slide wasn't working properly so that was kind of a bummer. Great all around staff. You have a special thing with Ranger Dan. He's a great worker, great customer service and always driving around saying hello and checking in. Saw him numerous times and each time was always a friendly gesture and conversation. Kept us up to date with the activities, along with the piece of paper. Putt putt was a great clean course. Kind of challenging. Didn't use majority of the playground amenities but they have a ton and it's in a great big area. The ice cream stand had Hershey's ice cream and UNBELIEVABLE Root Beer. The pizza we tried was pretty good as well. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and nice. The only negatives I could give besides cold pool ( nothing to do about that ) is the water is Well water so it had the sulphur smell so brushing and showering had an odor. The activities were plentiful, always had a big calendar or events and theme weekends. The activities they had planned just seemed lackluster and rushed. Younger staff doing many of the skits, seemed half assed and rushed it not a ton of thought into the activity. We never really saw any of the Bears walking around but we would hear that they were out and about. We raised our family at Jellystone so this will always have a symbolic and nostalgic feel. We will still definitely always come back. Overall a good weekend. 8.0 out of 10

They literally would make things better by saying we need to bring clear bags so they can make sure we aren't bringing in glass or alcohol. I appreciate the rules but I'm an adult and I don't need some 16 year old ruining everything I packed. Secondly they got rid of the obstacle course in lieu of a diving board. The pool itself needs some repair. The way the bottom is, it makes the water look dirty. The water actually was full of bugs and leaves. The pool is small for 19.00 per person. It's a fine place to cool off but overall it has changed to only accommodate young children and older teens will more than likely not be impressed.

Back then parents raised kids right and trusted them. My friend and I carried knives that were basically dull and couldn't cut a banana. At Cutty's Sunset they had a "cage" that was pulled behind a tractor. It was used for their hay rides. My friend and I went to look at it the night we got there and a few other kids showed up. We talked for a while, and went our own way. We were really looking forward to that hay ride the next night. All the sudden the next day the "cage wagon" had a flat tire and the kids we met said that we "slashed" the tire with our knives. The ride was canceled and the cops showed up. They wanted to arrest us. It wasn't until my Dad took both knives and demonstrated that even HE couldn't get one of those knives to puncture the tire, that the cops let us go. A short while later Someone looked at the tire and found out it hadn't been slashed, it had a bad valve stem and the air leaked out. We were told to leave and never come back. Terrible place.

This camp use to be one of our families favorite. After this last trip we had, we had a very rude…read moreand disrespectful worker named Brian. The first day we came in we got our camper parked and set up about 2 hours later he comes by yelling that we have to move our vehicle . It was on our site so I didn't understand that I asked where to move too and he said not there.... I then said ok ? We are not allowed to park on the site we paid for... so I moved it to another spot up front. Then we noticed our picnic table was destroyed . Tons of nails sticking out of it rusty nails on the top, the whole front board was literally shredded being we couldn't even use the table without getting stabbed by nails or big pieces of wood . On Saturday we stayed for the kids to go trick or treating . We were getting things packed up around 445/450 all the kids were done trick or treating so we starting getting things ready and out of the way so we started hooking up to move back a little being we weren't going to be leaving for a couple more hours , employee Brian started screaming from about 100 ft away( in front of the playground with kids and my children ) saying " I don't give a f*** what you are doing get off my f******road " as we were hooked up and moving backwards, very unprofessional and unacceptable he then walked up to me face to face with my 4 year old standing by my side crying ... he then again yells and says "he's going to call the police on me because we hooked up a camper to a truck to back it up out of the way . With all that this camp has went down in the past two years a lot of the long time seasonal packed up and are heading to a different camps or the management is just running them out in general . because of all these things and more , We will no be back !

She walked us through the requirements for traveling out of the country and into another. Prior to leaving, we found out about a seaweed issue that was causing issues for people. One week before we were supposed to leave, we decided to cancel our existing reservation, and rebook to a different part of Mexico. With little notice, she worked to make the transition feel like no big deal. Again, helping us find the best resort, with the amenities we were looking for and all within our price range. Prior to leaving, she checked in with us to make sure we were doing the things we needed to, sent helpful info about the area, tipping culture, packing lists, and helped us make decisions about what excursions to do. She made sure we got there ok, and checked back in to make sure we made it home.
