I cannot say enough GOOD things about Marie!! I'm still gonna try so here goes: This little miracle worker was able to correct a MAJOR issue with my Achilles' tendon simply by using suction cups, massage and her pure magic! This was an injury that kept me from my running schedule for MONTHS!! And in two visits, she was able to address inflammation in my fascia, tackle the Achilles' tendon and just make me feel nurtured overall. She also recommended it was time for new running shoes and she was absolutely correct! It's like a night and day difference. Marie has gone above and beyond to help me both times I've seen her. I mean, really top shelf! I was amazed at her immense kindness, passion for her work and generous spirit. She educated me on so much about my body and I'm so grateful, which is why I'm now more than happy to consider her a friend. read more

I have no idea if the massage here is good or not because we never got to have one. If you look at recent reviews for this business (sort by date), you will see a pattern. The massage therapists might be the greatest in the world, but the business side is terrible. Poor communications. Poor scheduling, Reschedules. Cancellations. Etc. Our appointment moved three times, and then we hit traffic and were going to be five to ten minutes late (after driving for 45 minutes to get there), and they wanted to cancel and reschedule or shorten the massage. No thanks. They need to fix their scheduling if they want to stay in business. read more

This was actually a surprise from my husband so I had no clue what to expect. I've had massages before, but this one was by far the best! The studio is downstairs and down a hallway. It wasn't too hard to find but standing in the hallway was kind of awkward. There was a bench to sit on, and the wait was very short so it wasn't like you stood in the hallway for ages. While she cleaned up after the last guest, I was given a four page clipboard to fill out. Just your typical health questionnaire and HIPPA form. We entered into a room that had the massage bed behind a large black curtain that separated the room into two. After going over my paperwork, she closed the curtain allowing me to dress down. For the cost this was an amazing massage. Seriously. It was super cheap AND a 90 minute massage. Definitely the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the gals name but she was good! It was a deep tissue massage and she really got deep! She spent plenty of time on my problem areas which were my lower back and neck area. She also worked out some kinks that I didn't even know I had in other places. She used coconut oil mixed with a tangerine essential oil which smelt amazing! I also like that because it wasn't lotion you didn't feel sticky or greasy after. The nice thing about coconut oil is it dissolves into the skin nicely. The only negatives I could think of was the toilet flushes really loud as its in between the two other studio rooms. So, if someone uses the restroom you can hear it flush. However, that wouldn't stop me from going back. I left feeling like a puddle! read more

I've only been here once, but I'm extremely pleased. The only place I've been where nothing felt rushed, and you actually got thoroughly massaged the full time they advertise on their website (90 minutes). I was seen by a gal named Patti, and she was wonderful. The entrance to their studio is a little confusing-- it's the first buliding on your right when you enter the plaza. If you get to the Elle Marie studio, you've gone too far. Judging from the banners on the doors, it looks like you go upstairs to the right, but you actually go through the biggest doors to the left. I believe there are attorney logos everywhere, but when you enter there is a sign saying the massage studio is downstairs. Go downstairs inside the building, and there should be a decorated door where the studio is. read more

I really love Lakeside massage. Been going there for quite some time and now with the new ownership I think it's going to be an even better place to get a massage as well as other services. I typically only go for a massage but now that I know who's in charge I feel more confident about trying some of the other services. I used to love this studio! Always bought several massages at a time and loved the experience. But the last year or so, it has gone downhill. Lots of cancelled appointments, lack of communication in rescheduling, etc. Do you not want customers anymore? It's kinda what I'm thinking at this point... I just moved to the area and had Lakeside massage recommended to me. My first appointment was good but when I texted to set up a second appointment for a sports massage I got questioned like I didn't know what I wanted or why. After a couple days of not getting a response back about an appointment, I texted again. I was then scheduled a deep tissue massage for the following Saturday. I got to the appointment and no one was there. I tried calling the person that I had texted with and of course no answer (there is never an answer), I left a message. She texted me about an hour later to see if I got my massage. I told her no. She said that she would find out what happened. A week later and I still have not heard back. I am sure if you are an existing customer it is great, but if you are new...I would find a place that has customer service. Very unhappy with how unprofessional this place is. read more

After being in a car accident I was referred to Shannon by my chiropractor. Although I have had many massages before, never have I felt the relaxation of my muscles as deep as she was able to get them.
