Captain Charles wasn't just our captain--he was our photographer, videographer, DJ, entertainer, and all-around memory maker. Me and my family had the best time at Lake Travis with Liquid Thrillz boat rentals. The entire process was pretty seamless and staff super friendly and educated us on everything we needed to know. Only complaint was the walk to get to the marina where the boats are docked, they only have one long stairwell down roughly 2-3 flights in one going straight down a hill. It was very challenging carrying large coolers up and down that stairwell. Beside that we enjoyed our time and will be booking again! read more

We made it before the cold hit. We rented a jet ski for 4 hours and it was perfect. Not to mention we got lucky and we were able to rent it within a 45 min notice. When we arrived it was bit difficult to find them, but once we did it was smooth sailing. We noticed they had some new jet skis so we asked if we can use one of those versus the older models. They explained those are currently not ready due to licensing (something like that). We were helped by two young men. One assisted us before we left and one when we arrived. They were detailed with instructions and friendly. I would definitely use their devices again. read more

My fam and I always go to Lake Travis every summer for the Fourth of July, and we always rent a boat from Liquid Thrills. This year, we rented a moomba wake boat with a driver named Captain Jim. Omg Jim is so fun and helpful. He taught me how to do water skiing, and my sister, dad, and mom how to wake surf. The boat was also super nice, and big. The next day we rented a Bennington pontoon, which was so fun! It was upsetting that the mother was so small so we couldn't go tubing, but we still had fun going on boat rides. read more

We had a great time. We rented a Tahoe and tubed a lot and skied just a bit. It was a really nice day. The two young men who helped us when we arrived were quick, thorough and friendly. While we were out on the lake, I had a question and called the main number and was helped with what I needed. This was our second time renting from them and had a great time and were taken care of very well the first time, too. We haven't built a dock on our land yet, so we have not bought a boat. Everything was seamless from arrival to end. Parking lot was a little tight as it was a beautiful day to be at the lake and it's a shared the lot with Captain's Petes, but there was another area at the top that had additional parking. Arrived a little earlier than scheduled and Captain Jim was waiting for us with open arms. Left the dock right on time. Jim was a very chill captain and had tons of patience when adults turn into children. Pretty up to date boat and had a good amount of space for our party of 10. Highlight of this rental definitely had to be the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, professional and overall out of the way, great service! Special shout out to Andres- thank you again! We did a 4 hour jet ski rental for one ski/2 people on a Saturday. The ski was well maintained and ran fast. There was space to bring a bag, drinks and necessities. Staff reviews everything you need to know and insures your ready to go. My only recommendation for the future - I would rent for 5 hours. Just as we had gotten comfortable with the lake and the ski, add in stops to relax and refreshments our time was almost up. One more hour would have been perfect! read more

Noah, Nick, Jacob and Connor - the guys at the marina were very helpful, fun and nice. We had so much fun that we did a second day. We had a pontoon and a jet ski. Both worked fine. Only reason not 5 stars is because they don't allow pulling tubes or pulling up to shore - both things you can do when you own your own. I even asked about beaches when I called to make the reservation and they just said they were unfamiliar but that I could ask the guys at the marina. So if you get a jet ski just know that it's 4 hours straight without being able to rest somewhere. Prices seemed fair when you consider they cover maintenance, gas, registration, insurance, and all other overhead. The memories our kids made are priceless. read more

My friends and I rented a speed boat last weekend for a celebration. The Liquid Thrillz group was very professional and went through the instructions and details very clearly and concisely. They took precautions for covid and the payment and registration process was easy. The boat was clean and in good condition - we had a blast! Returning the boat was simple and quick as well. Unfortunately, we didn't realize we left a wallet in the boat. The next day, we called Liquid Thrillz who was very understanding. Even though they didn't have any trips scheduled for that day, within 30 min they had a staff member come in from home to meet us at their private dock and they allowed us to look for it. Luckily we found the wallet in the boat! The customer support team even called me afterwards to confirm we had a satisfactory experience. Incredible! We were guests on our friend's birthday lake cruise. So glad they picked the day after 4th of July....Lake Travis was nice and quiet. We motored north, under the steady driving of Capt. Jim. Had lunch and just hung out. Kudos to those who helped us get our coolers down to the dock and then back up to the ramps to the parking lot after our cruise was done. This was our 2nd trip out with Liquid Thrillz and we had an awesome time! We booked the double decker tritoon with the slide - tweens, teens and adults all had a blast! First, Reece and his dock team were such a great help I just can't say enough about those young men! We were 2 women with 3 teen girls headed out for an afternoon of lake fun. We came prepared with a lilypad, towels and coolers but the boat ramp is steep with tons of stairs. In raced these young gentleman to the rescue! Without asking they raced up to help us get everything down the ramp and onto the boat including tying down the mat to the boat. When we returned, one young man carried the lilypad all the way up to our van. I was impressed with their manners. As far as the boat, it was perfect. A small pontoon that was perfect for 5 and easy to maneuver. We were given the complete rundown on operation, storage, life vests and even the Bluetooth radio. We were told where to watch for the low spots in the lake (due to the extreme drought) and given a map. We had an amazing day and would absolutely rent from LT again. read more

My husband and I were celebrating being newlyweds and decided to visit Lake Travis! We rented one two seater Waverunner for 4pm on Labor Day. We drove an hour to get here and were super excited. We even arrived a little over an an hour early to take care of any paperwork we may have missed from online. Since we were early we decided to have a bite to eat at the restaurant. We get a call at about 3pm saying our reservation is being cancelled because one of their Waverunners was wrecked. My husband explained that we just drove an hour and were already there, we only needed one two seater. The lady he spoke to said ok and she would have a rental for us at 4pm so we went back to our meal. At about 3:45 we walked to the dock for orientation. One of the guys says the people before us had not arrived and was going to call them. Shortly after a young lady comes and the young man helping us asks her about the Waverunners so she replies "oh yea I know about them" "you're here for the two waverunners" I replied that we only needed one two seater. She proceeded to tell us that they were not ready and we have to speak to her manager so she gave us his number. My husband called and spoke to Mark who told him that the back up waverunner was malfunctioning and we would have to wait until the next group came back but couldn't give us a specific time. (Which I didnt understand since they should have appointment slots with times on when rentals are due back). Again, we are trying to enjoy our time as newlyweds on this mini honeymoon so our time is valuable and we couldn't wait around. My husband called Liquid Thrillz to inquire about a refund. The young lady on the other end of the phone said she would process it "now" and send over an email with that Info. It's been 3 hours now and no email about a refund yet! If you value your time and money, don't visit this place. They seem to be unorganized and unprofessional. They didn't even bother to accommodate for a different day or offer a discount for something else for the inconvenience. That's just bad business! read more
