Great to work with an organization that enables all of the involved care-givers and key family members to present a unified team during those tough moments that require calm and an integrated plan. Our health care provider gave us a list so I hopped on Yelp and took a look at some reviews. This one had such a high rating I had to read through the other reviews to be sure, but this was our first choice and we got it! This is not what I am used to in larger healthcare settings, but I am so glad that they aren't some super excessively large entity because the personal service we received was out of this world! Literally could not have asked for anything better in caring for our family. It started with our provider reaching out to their offices, shortly after that calls started coming in to deliver the bed and supplies (they use Hospice Source for equipment delivery - will pen another review for them specifically). Once we figured out what they do and don't provide we hopped on Amazon for anything else we didn't already have so we could be thoroughly prepared for our loved ones care. Intake Nurse was at our home shortly after our family member came home from the hospital. They hand you and informational booklet (handy way to keep everything organized and sorted) with homework assignments already inside for the funeral arrangements, general definitions, even a spot to write your entire care teams name and number so everyone in the home has access, etc. We even received a blue card to place on the fridge for contact information for our care team! Our private team was 2 nurses, an aide, social worker, chaplain and even a couple on-call/after hours nurses as needed too. Every one of these staff members we were assigned were absolutely phenomenal! Supreme service all around, if I had my own company I would extend each and every person that came in a job offer. They were THAT good. Hospice work is very tough to continuously be with people at often their lowest point or right before they pass away. With all the heightened emotions of the patient, family and their own personal lives.. you can imagine this is often a thankless job. We expressed our gratitude thoroughly to every one of our staff and I am writing this review to tell anyone reading to have some patience, compassion, and grace. THANK YOU Advanced Home Health & Hospice. No offense, but I hope I never need you again. If I do, you will be the first team I call or recommend to anyone in your service area.

He quickly understood how easily my body reacts & was careful not to stir things up, while at the same time presenting ways to strengthen it. He has shown me, often in little ways, things to do to ease pain, that no one had told me about before...that have helped! He also suggested a home-help product I didn't think I needed (but turns out I do), that will help me shower more safely. I have been so impressed w/ everyone from Blossom Ridge. Today I wanted to focus on Cody as he's completed his part in my care. Thanks Cody!

Very professional but still very friendly and personable. And although she was allergic to cats she was still very friendly towards my Frank instead of just ignoring him. I will start by saying the management was very quick to respond and able to get us scheduled right…read moreaway when others were not which was the positive of the experience. However, our caregiver that arrived did not seem prepared for a hospice situation (which is what the job always was always described as) and also made comments and asked questions of the hospice nurse in ways that were very insensitive to our family. To make matters worse after the nurse confirmed these to likely be final hours the caregiver asked if since the family was still awake she could just go now as her stomach hurt and essentially she quit mid-shift. The management team did apologize that their employee "got sick" the next day and refunded the prepaid portion of services which were not rendered. We were of course less than happy with the service of the caregiver provided and in fact have gone another direction for care now for my father rather than hiring this company for long term care.
