With that being said, this is a busy place with lots of families and kids, so it stays a little noisy.. The bathrooms are as clean as can be for a busy place. Showers are good too, except having to pay in quarters to take one. That is a new experience for me, and trust me I do understand.. It's my second time here and I will be back for sure! What a great spot if you are tenting it.. You have the lake as your window view, awesome!! If you are into fishing, this is a great place for it. They have a cleaning station for the fish, and a boat dock that charges $5 for it. And if you like to stargaze, it's also a place for you.. This is a dog friendly place, and must be leashed at all times. For those of you that don't know the rules about picking up after your dog by now, get a clue!!! I don't like stepping in crap. I pick up after mine.. It's is a nice place, don't get dogs banned from here cause out of laziness and selfishness.. Sorry to vent!

Even more impressive was his energy and effort in constantly searching the lake for a better location and better bite. Under some adverse conditions on Day 2, he even had us out on 3 different lakes looking for fish which were being very tight-lipped that day. He uses only top-notch equipment and the latest in ice fishing technology. His fee is reasonable and even includes a fresh cooked hot lunch on the ice (for full day trips) which we really enjoyed.

Drive down, or take a bus from various places on the field, and relax in the shade and tranquility. There are spots for dozens of planes, and you will see many types. You can take a boat tour of the lagoon during the show for a small donation. There are one or two vendors, a food stand, and a tent where speeches and music take place in the evening. Highly recommended for anyone going to the show.

We are 6 adults, and four little girls ages 5-7 We range from beginner to experienced with kayaking. Just before we went out, the weather changed so we came back in after half an hour. We ate in the restaurant while it poured, and then went back out for another 90 minutes. We got out on sand bars to visit and play. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. When we…read morearrived the morning of our rental, they helped us get our cooler & fishing gear on the boat and checking in was easy. A staff member provides a comprehensive review of the boat and it's features, and then you are free to cruise the blue-green waters of the Chain O' Lakes all day. The pontoon (20' Hydrotherapy) was clean and comfortable, the canopy kept us shaded when the sun was hot, you have swim stairs in case you want to stop at a sandbar and cool off, and there were no issues at all with the motor. Plus they give you a map showing the lakes in the chain, detailing which ones are no-wake so the day was relaxing and trouble-free from start to finish.
