I was impressed that all patient visits to doctors and staff are free of charge. They don't ask insurance questions at all! Just what is your health problem! They won't charge your insurance or Medicare/ cad even if you have it! This reminds me of when I was visiting family in Switzerland and hurt my back. Not only was I seen within a few days there was no mention of payment. I just saw the doctor and left! I will never forget that and ADG is exactly like that. However I did not visit there for the health services, it was for the senior center . It was a Saturday and the seniors were Indian American. What a lively crowd! Many were standing in conversations with live music going on in the back of the room. A young Indian singer belting out lively songs and boom boxes and sound system in the back of the room made me want to dance! And I don't mean slow dancing! It was a party atmosphere and I understand it's always like that! I have been to other senior centers, most are pretty subdued. Not this!! Some have live music but music alone does not make a place upbeat. It's the members that do. Everyone seemed happy - lots of discussions going on! I want to give a shout out to Mr. Modi, I believe he is the manager or coordinator of the operation, and his wife Sangeeta. Mr Modi was working the room like an MC; making sure everyone was happy at the Senior Center and that everything was going smoothly in the Health center. I saw him successfully resolving issues which with so many people there, and issues are bound to come up! Sangeeta was also taking care of the huge crowd- there must have been about 120-150. She also answered attendees questions to their satisfaction . Like I said everyone was happy!, smiling and conversing! Sangeeta is also an excellent cook and I devoured an Indian dish made of okra and other vegetables and roti bread. I would highly recommend ADG to everyone! For both their health clinic and Senior Center! The Senior center is in the same "room" or should I say entrance as the health clinic.

Downstairs you can find men's clothes and shoes, children's clothes and shoes, and a wide variety of home goods. I mean wide! You can get candles, baskets, greeting cards, fabric bundles, dish sets- you name it, it's probably here. Upstairs is women's clothing and shoes and a Christmas room. It's not the largest clothing selection but high quality and good prices. They also had a sale when I was there, which was buy one red tag item and get two free. When you finish browsing upstairs, they put your items in a bag and total it for you before you go back downstairs to pay. The building is an old house, so it has multiple small rooms. It can feel a bit cramped at times, and sometimes the lighting wasn't the best. I just used the flashlight on my phone! They also have changing rooms upstairs, which is fantastic! The volunteers working there were very nice. It's a great stop if you're in the area!

I attended a Celebration of Life at the Wheaton Moose Hall Lodge. The room we sat in was huge…read more There was a separate full bar area and separate room off to the left. There was a huge stuffed moose hanging on the wall, so you can certainly see why this room got its name. They had television system playing with videos of the loved one. There was a whole wall devoted to food. It is a bit dated, so I took off one star. But, if you are looking for a gigantic room with all of the electronics and clean bathrooms, then, Moose Lodge is the place for you.
