This is what I think of when I hear the word 'mall'. It's air conditioned, has a good selection of stores, the stores aren't closing/shuttered, and the food court does not smell like a backed up toilet exploded. It's comfortable to shop here. You don't have to guess why people are walking around or what they're trying to 'do next'. This mall is clean and well-lit throughout. It's best to go on either a holiday/day off or weekend--because there is lots to do/see. This is not a place you can quickly walk in and out of. The architects were THINKING BIG when they designed the complex. And it just keeps growing with opening of new stores nearby. So plan your trip in advance. read more

Went one time and that was to the "so called" grand opening ! When I arrived you could not go into the mall itself. You could only go into a few of the stores on the outside of the mall interior ! Rip off advertising; haven't been back since; don't want it; don't need it ! read more

Decided to try this mall because it's closer to my house. I usually shop for everyone in my household so going to stores like Dillards, sears, Jcpenny where I can buy for everyone is a must. I was not impressed at all with the stores, very little inventory to choose from and customer service wasn't that great either! Food court was decent. If you want good deals and great customer service driving 30 minutes to the domain or the round rock outlets is definitely more worth it. read more

The stores here are fine. The usuals. The main point of this short review is the customer service. Not ONE employee in over 20 stores that we entered greeted us or asked if we needed help with anything. It's like the entire mall was trained to look away when a customer enters a store. Meh.... Kind of an ok mall... It's somewhere to go when it's too hot outside or when u know u have something to get and u just go to snag it. Not a mall to go and enjoy and paruse around. Gave one extra star because they have all the kids stores in one place making it easy for this mama to find stuff... Crazy 8, gymboree, baby gap, children's place... But seriously lacking in the more adult stores. I feel like it is standard to have at least a forever 21 and h&m at a mall and it has neither... Womp womp... I haven\t been to Lakeline Mall in quite a while--really got away from Malls in general, but just after Christmas we had to go out & get some more gifts for teenagers from out of state. Thanks to the Texas Store & some of the other shops, we got some great Austin shirts for all & we found other good specialty items we would have bought for others if I had made it to the Mall earlier! I think they have a really good variety of stores & shops & I will go out there again when I am looking for hard to find gifts & clothing. I also found the foodcourt to be above the standards of other mall food & with a Plucker's right in the mall, well, I have it made! read more

It's a regular old mall, I like that it is an indoor mall even though it is a bit dated. They have the typical anchor stores, not a lot to do but has most things needed. There is also a strip of stores close by in Lakeline - if you drive down the road around Lakeline Mall there's TJ Maxx, Jared, home furniture stores, Alamo Drafthouse, HEB, Michael's etc. It's in a convenient location and it doesn't seem like it ever gets super crowded (except maybe close to Christmas) read more

I agree with the posters who complain about the pushy kiosk people. For years, this one lady near the Disney store constantly harasses women by getting in their way and asking to see their nails. If you dare stop, you are forced to sit in a chair while this pushy lady takes your stuff out of your hand and starts her pro selling talk about how young you look at the same time trying to sell you cream for $99. When I told this lady I couldn't afford expensive cream, she instantly told me she would give mer "her discount". When I even tried to look at the back of the box for the ingredients, she took it away from me and turned it around, like she didn't want me to see. When I told her no thanks, I have more school clothes to buy (pointing at my kids standing there with their shopping bags) she turned her nose up and said, "Rue 21?? Everything in there is $3! Wet Seal? Their stuff is cheap. What a freaking insult. At that point, I said no thanks. She got very mad, swiped the box from my lap, turned away and said, "GOODBYE". What happened to the lady that loved me 5 minutes before, telling how beautiful I was??? What a difference. This lady has been there for years because she's tried to stop me before. You have to pretend your on the phone. Way too pushy and I'm going to contact Lakeline Mall and complain about her. I don't want to be bothered when I walking down the mall. read more

Not as nice as Barton Creek Mall, but a totally decent mall that has all you could expect from a mall: movie theater, anchor stores like JCPenney and Dillard's, Gap, Old Navy, GameStop, lots of shoe stores, etc., all with a more manageable crowd. The food court isn't all it could be, but the immediate surrounding area has great restaurants, my favorite being Pluckers. read more

I really like this mall. I didn't give it five starts because it located in Cedar Park/Leander area. Also the food has a pretty good selection Asian, Subway, Chick-fil-a, & etc. There is a dollar store and I love it! There is a store for every age and style of dress. read more

Very clean and fun mall... It's kinda out of the way but I enjoy it very much when I do visit.

Its a indoor mall, has almost everything you need. My family and I have been here twice, always easy to find parking. I like that there is something for everyone, women, men and the kids of course. Coming from South Austin, most of the shops in Lakeline are overpriced. The movie theater is sub par compared to the other places around town. I do like the sprawling shopping area that surrounds it. read more

While I appreciate having an indoor mall nearby I really am spoiled by some of the other malls that I have lived by. This mall is kind of sad. There are no sit down resturants in the mall just your typical food court foods. I guess the rents must be really high too because a bunch of good stores are closing there. It also smells kind of musty and mildewey there. The kids play area is nice to have but it is pretty dirty and smells like dirty feet. The train ride is too expensive too. The mall is also pretty closed in with absolutely no outdoor areas. Other malls I have been to have nice resturants with outdoor patios to attract the guests. It really is kind of uninviting from the outside. read more

Your basic suburban mall featuring plenty of parking and the usual mall choices including a Sears and Macy's on each end, with JC Penny and a movie place in the middle. They keep the mall nice and cool on a hot Texas summer day. Something I expect. Nothing to write home about except my favorite, the huge Dillard's Men's store and their sales with massive discounts on top men's fashions. Lakeline is a very middle-of-the-road mall. It is clean and well maintained, but it is starting to show its age. There seem to be more and more empty storefronts and some of their anchor stores like J.C. Penny's and Sears are very dated. The food court is OK but doesn't have a wide selection. They do have a movie theater, children's playground, and plenty of parking. It remains the best in the area, but could easily be overtaken if a new mall is built nearby. read more

I like this mall. Not too pricey (domain) and a TON better than the malls in Bell county.

We love this mall as a quick get-away with the kids. They have a cute little play area for the tots, a train ride, a carousel. The food court has a subway with some healthy options for eating and several little rides to entertain the kids. Always a hit if we need mall stuff. read more

I've cancelled my Macy's card because of their stance on equal pay for equal work for women(asked our governor to veto the bill which passed a bipartisan vote). I've vowed to never go to Dillard's again, because I was tired of being targeted with their over-the-top shop lifting strategy. I am not a shop lifter. However I've been asked about where I got the pants I wore into the store. I've had my credit card scrutinized (fortunately I was able to answer questions correctly and even knew where I lived). I've had a security guard standing outside of the dressing room when I emerged (I was the only one back there). The list goes on and on. This has been going on for years and there are finally enough other places to go, plus online clothes shopping has been surprisingly good. It is not good in a pinch though. Other reviewers are right. This mall is mostly for teenagers. Not too many exciting stores for the over forties, fifties, sixties. Dillards has a good selection for older women, the only reason it gets one star (though for customer service it deserves a zero). read more

Very little in this mall. The best mall to go to is Barton Creek. The problem with Lakeline is that there are too many young people there hanging out. The anchor stores are dated and the theatre is 25 years ie needs makeover. read more

This place is great if you're trying to get something better than the dull and repetitive selection of Barton Creek Mall. Lakeline Mall is more targeted towards those that aren't concerned with being fashion divas. It has some great shops that aren't at other malls such as FYE, the Disney store, Gift World, and several shops to buy old movies, games, toys, and anime merchandise. As far as the layout goes, it's nothing impressive. It doesn't feel like anything ever gets updated but I suppose it's the shops that count. All in all, it's a pretty decent mall. I myself, am a bit more of an offbeat person so I enjoy this mall a bit more than most would. I personally love the collectibles from movies and games that you can buy here. However, I know that the majority of people going to the mall are buying clothes or decorations. If that's what you're coming for, you may find the selection to be not as good as Barton Creek, but all the key clothing stores are there. So if you're in the market for something different than normal, give Lakeline Mall a try. read more

I like Lakeline for a few reasons. First, if it's winter and there are no leaves on the trees, I can hear the car alarms go off in the parking lot. Yes, it's convenient to me, and isn't that what matters in the case of a personal review? I'm also not one that wants to spend a day in a mall just wandering aimlessly (except when I'm at work). I know there are shoppers that like to just be at a mall. I'm not one, I still have high school retail mall nightmares. Luckily, they aren't by this particular Austin area Simon owned mall, but the other one. So I go here. I like the anchors. I miss the balloon glow over the food court. Apparently the last mall manager thought it was not cool enough. I thought it was cool, especially at night. Now it's a little less ooh and ahh and a little more....well....food court. That's okay because I don't really like food courts. Simon Sushi is okay, and it seems now that my favorite Chinese restaurant has just moved out (Dragonfly is empty now!?!) it's only shopping and maybe margaritas at Dulce's. I like the train running down by Sears in from of the inflatable place...I'm thinking we need a flash mob movie scene with a villain and a girl acting like she's tied to tracks. Back to shopping....I get what I want for the most part at this mall and the rest is not far. ...and because it's close to home, when I'm done...I am done without much effort. I do suggest that you not depend on the mall rentacops for security for your car. Since they nabbed those kids last fall car break ins are down, but still...it's a mall parking lot patrolled by guys on 3 wheel scooters....just lock it up and use your trunk. read more

I enjoy Barton Square Mall more than this mall but Lakeline is closer to us and it's much more kid-friendly. My son loves coming here and it's a nice inexpensive daytime activity. We went yesterday and spent $4 and had a great time. We rode the carousel, played in the play area, went on a letter hunt, rode some elevators, visited the Disney Store, and had a cookie. Keeps my infant entertained as well and it's a nice (cool) break from going to the park. Plus if we do need to do any shopping, all of the kids stores are located on the lower level and within close proximity so it's easy to get your shopping done. Gymboree is tough to get into with a stroller, but the rest of the stores are fine. There is also a Chick-fil-a, so we eat lunch there usually. There are also other rides, a train, and an inflatable wonderland. And we always do Santa pictures here at Christmas. It's been the same Santa every year we've been and he's awesome! We did easter bunny pictures here this year as well. read more

Worst Mall ever. The shop keepers are rude and the ladies at the kiosk are beyond rude.

A major shout-out about Dora, the skin care expert at the Clinique counter at Dillards! She worked me in on short order-I didn't realize it's now preferred to book an appointment- and in fifteen minutes, using five products, had me transformed. I am very happy with my new look! It's quick, easy, age-appropiate, and cost a lot less than I thought it would. I am especially happy that it does not involve using mascara. read more
