The air was super refreshing and it just felt... euphoric. My family and I were on a mission to do a bit of outdoorsy fishing (mainly for bluegills). We didn't stray too far from the Pine Flat Lake boat drop off, just to the hills along the left side of the lake. We had a great view of the Marina as well as the local boaters and home owners. It was really pleasing to see how a place that had no signal, no major buildings, no smog, no sort of hustle-bustle scene still make the locals and myself... smile. It was really a place to put away all the non-important aspects of our life to stop and breathe a little. Glad that university's over and summer's right around the corner. Pine Flat Lake and the Marina was such a beautiful place to relax and reminisce. Hopefully I can visit again soon. :-)

There is bad stuff going on after hours between the leadership on site and the staff members in keeping pecking order and favorites which bleeds into the actual running of things day & day out. Food isn't kept at proper temperatures & stored properly. The road trip up and down in the bus is just unbelievably allowed to be used despite its requiring people to get all on one side of the bus to keep the bus from tilting in a bad way to get to the need places. I lost my ACL due to being rushed to hurry while disbarking with the many seasons with this company bus driver who lives in his van year around at the ski company up in Mammoth and at this lame place. The couple who managed this location the woman is dark energy big time. Like really yucky fake while piercing looking at people like she has a bug she is killing and power tripping to the max. The worst experience I have ever had in my life was my five days with this staff at their Miramonte, CA location on the Kings River. Be Warned!!!

We told him that we were interested in looking at a Yamaha Boat. He said it was in the other showroom and we took the club car down the street to their extended property. Didn't realize how many boats they had in stock. When it came to making the deal he was not pushy, got us extra discounts within reason and spoke to Jack (the owner) to see what else they can do to sweeten the deal. Jack was pleasant, probably stressed with how busy they were that day, but still took the time to work with us to get the price right for our purchase. When we came back the next week to pick up the boat they were very good in going over the entire boat and features as well as inspecting every angle. They include basic safety gear 4 life jackets and a throwable that you can exchange for credit if you already have gear. The workers hooked up the boat and trailer to our hitch and we were on our way. It gets busy here especially around 10-11am with people getting service for their boats. A lot of drop offs and pick ups. Definitely plan on coming early when they open. Customers come in stressed but Jason, Jack and staff stay cool and calm to help everyone with their needs. Sent a email as a goof. Ed contacted me and depsite being almost 5 hours away, we had a great deal on a pontoon and a trade in for our old boat. When we arrived, Jason showed us everything we needed to know about our new pontoon and put us at ease about the large purchase. He even gave us his cell number if we had any questions. Financing was easy. Everyone was really nice and inviting. Really, the got us in our dreamboat. It was a 13 hour round trip from our house but 100% worth it. Dont be afraid to reach out and make a drive. We hope to never part with our new pontoon, but if we ever need to upgrade, we're going back.

We had to come to terms on several technical issues and haggle a bit on the cost, but his patience, experience, and knowledge resulted in a very sano install for a reasonable price. In the end, he and his crew did an excellent job installing ballast, batteries, prop, full engine service, trailer service, and he got us on the road promptly and confidently on a Saturday morning before a 400-mile tow. The tow went without incident, and the boat ran great. Thanks Matt! 5 stars. Cameron. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Hung with us through a 2-hour shopping spree including boat stuff, life jackets, wake surfers, and wake surf gear. Gear selection was good, but not quite Overton's or iBoat (duh!). Regardless, Cameron was extremely helpful and earned his 5 stars too! Dusty. Came and went, but checked on us often to ensure that all was good. He exuded customer care. 5 stars. Last but not least, Ann. She was obviously efficient at what she does and provided concise and friendly closure to our experience at Boulder Boats. The gardens were built in an unexpected park of Fresno and these is a lot of history behind them. Parking was somewhat difficult but once you enter, the staff were very kind, organized, and positive. Our tour guide Raul was super sweet and provided a lot of history regarding the gardens and the family who built them. Raul had my 3 young boys engaged and interested. He answered all my questions and was so open to conversation. You could tell Raul was proud to be there telling all of us how the Gardens came to be. The Gardens are very interesting. I've never seen anything quite like these. The smell of all the citrus trees combine with the natural cooling underground was amazing and made the tour comfortable. If you have any time i do recommend visiting these secret gardens.

They will show the lowest price in town but they will get the rest of the money from your deposit. There are other better options from Getmyboat and Boatsetter These are peer to peer rentals and they all have great reviews. I chose to rent from BVR because of lack of research. Please don't make the same mistake I did; unless you're ok with paying the rental fee plus deposit. Remember your deposit isn't going back to you regardless of what proof you have. I have attached photos of our texts which includes proof against charges. The owner didn't budge which means that his plan is to lure customers with a low rental fee price but make up his money on the withheld deposit. The other plan is he could possibly give his workers a commission fee for setting up customers in order to receive more money from the customers. They have me on camera recording the entire boat before and after return which is why they chose another route to keep my deposit. They thought because I didn't top off the boat with fuel that they can charge me my deposit. I provided proof of the contract that it was returned with the same amount of fuel how I received it as well as a receipt for the fuel. The owner didn't reply after that. They also threw in a missing flag, fire extinguisher, and blemish to the tube to add to the statement of charges. He told me the tube had to have fallen off while driving on the road because it was road rash. Attached is a photo of the tube strapped safely to my truck which is proof against what he said. There is also videos of us using the flag. Nothing was missing; they just wanted to make the withholding of the entire deposit more believable. Regardless I wanted my money back, so I offered to buy him anything that they said were missing as well as take the tube to an upholstery repair company to fix the blemish. He ignored me and said he will not talk to me anymore and to email him. He does this because he knows that even if he doesn't scam his customers the majority of his customers are still going to be one time customers or at the most once a year customers. By him scamming his customers, it is not going to affect him too bad other than doubling up his wallet that year. There are always new prospective customers growing every year. The only way to prevent them from making the same mistake I did will be this review. If you search up BVR on Better Business Bureau you can see they have an F. Please do not rent from BVR! If don't listen to all these negative reviews, literally all of them about a deposit being withheld, and you rent from them anyways then don't waste your time trying to dispute the charge. Not only will they not review your dispute but they will drag on your dispute for weeks; being ignored day after day. You will waste countless hours calling, texting, stressing, and gathering up evidence for proof against charges. And in the end not even a dime returned to you. I personally work with many big companies such as Quinn, Enterprise, H&E, United, Fresno Equipment. So I know how good businesses run and how they should run. But BVR is far from it. HEED MY WARNING!
