I just arrived home from a work conference and my package was ready and waiting for me. The prices are higher than many of the other outdoor brands in today's marketplace for outer wear but in the premium space that this brand operates in they are very reasonably priced versus the competition. On this occasion I was looking for a quality raincoat to take with me on an upcoming trip to Alaska. Prior to coming to this North face, I stopped in at the local REI store that carries pretty much most, if not all of the premium outer wear brands where the costs were quite high and/or the material and associated weight the of the raincoat's did not seem substantial enough for me as an engineer where robustness is always a top criteria for me. From there, I headed to North Face and found exactly what I was looking for in the Antora raincoat regularly $130 where I got it at $89 on sale. This jacket like all of North Face merchandise was well made, with a heavier grade material, felt substantial to the touch and looks pretty darn good/cool. Aesthetics are a big part of why I buy these North Face products and this jacket did not disappoint. Overall if quality and robustness matters to you when buying your outer wear and you are willing to pay a premium for it than North Face and this store should be right up your alley.
