Some friends and I came here for brunch on Sunday at the suggestion of a friend. They also serve dinner. This is an out of the way casual dining restaurant, tucked in next to a marina. They have a large covered patio, which is where we sat. Website says if you come by boat to let them know as there is limited spaces for boats to park. The patio affords a view of the lake if you're near the railing and on the weekend you can watch the marina workers put the boats in the water. (I don't know why I found this entertaining but I did) I've heard the Bloody Mary was good so I went with that for my drink. Not bad, I like the bacon and blue cheese stuffed olives on top, but I should have asked for it to be spicier. Next time I will go for mimosas. The Mahi sandwich was blackened and came with lettuce, tomato, red cabbage slaw (?) & a hot pepper aioli (which was not really hot). The piece of fish was a little small but overall the flavors were very good and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Served with a kosher dill on the side. I got rosemary potatoes as a substitute for the fries. My friend got the fries that it comes with and they were a very crispy deep fried fry which was really good! Our server was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. She seemed to come by at just the right time to check on us. I will definitely come back to try some other things. Glad to have found this place! read more

Had a really tasty brunch here yesterday. Our server Heather was awesome. She was friendly and very helpful. The food was good but just not sure ice cream goes with French Toast. The Eggs Benedict with the house sausage was tasty but think the Laney burger stole the show. H The only complaint is they need to update their menus online. There is always something on there that is no longer available when you get there eat and it is not something they just ran out of. Otherwise the place gets all A's. read more

The lake view was nice and we sat by the window. The temperature of the restaurant was a bit warm, as it appeared they had a small AC trying to cool the back room. Our server was attentive and the food was good. We both had steaks --ribeye and New York strip. They were cooked well and tasted good. I really dislike places though where you pay $16-$25+ for a steak dinner and a salad doesn't come with it. That is my only issue with our experience here. read more

I came to Lakeshore Grille for Sunday Brunch. I ordered the Chicken Burger and a $2.00 Mimosa. The burger came with French fries and a pickle. This was by far the best chicken burger I've ever had, it would be even better with blue cheese crumbles instead of the watery blue cheese dressing that it came with. The Mimosa was in a tiny wine glass, it could have been a little bigger but I guess it was worth the 2 bucks! My mom and cousin ordered the Brunch Burger and they really liked their meal. Wife and I went to The Grille for the first time and were very happy with the service and food. We both had the grouper almondine and found it to be perfectly prepared. This place is a gem! We found it on, Yelp, near our hotel. It is fabulous! I had the chicken parm and it was delicious. Just a little tang and real chicken just the right amount of crispy. My husband had the pork chops with apple chutney. Not a huge portion, but it was delicious, too. The complementary house made chips with sauce were also fantastic. It is the best restaurant in Chattanooga run by an amazing family. Brooke made sure to make the entire night perfect, secretly videoing the proposal, setting up the ring in her famous Apple martini. The food is delicious. I recommend Chicken Parm, Lakeshore lemon cocktail or I call that a blue drink lol. Price is right. I didn't have any problems with parking. Friendly staff and amazing view of Lake Chicamauga. I think this is a perfect place for date night. Oh and If you order the mussels and the waitress asks you if you want some more bread because maybe you need it to enjoy the rest of the delicious mussels ( they come in a big plate with plenty of sauce), it will be additional $2 charge for bread. My first visit to Lakeshore Grill was last Sunday 3/31/19 for brunch. I was with my husband and his daughter. We sat outside even though it was so cold but the view was pretty. I ordered the blackened Mahi with fries and they both ordered chicken and waffles. I must say everyone enjoyed the food no complaints there. If the food is excellent but service isn't it can ruin the meal which it did for me. I ordered a Bloody Mary and two Coronas. Each of the 3 drinks took forever to be delivered to me. We were actually ready to leave when the last drink came out and we were the only people outside eating. I don't remember the waiters name but it was the absolute worst service I've seen in years. Because of the poor attention to our table I won't go back. So 3 stars only because the food was good. read more

We have been wanting to try Lakeshore Grille for a while, but always figured in the summer that it would be crowded. So, a cold, drizzly Saturday sounded like a good day to try it out. We arrived at almost 6 and were seated immediately. We sat in a large booth by the window, with a great view. Our waitress was at our table before I even got my phone out to check in. She brought water and complimentary homemade chips!! Well, they just sold me on the place! Bring me complimentary food and I am yours forever. Everything sounded great on the menu (we will definitely go back to check out more of the food), but I had been craving a burger lately. Our waitress said that the burger of the week was a barbecue, bacon, cheddar burger. There is nothing I like better than some bacon with my burger, so that was a no-brainer. It took the food a little bit of time to arrive. Not too long, and since I was munching on the homemade chips, I was fine. It was worth waiting for. The burger was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and just lightly pink and super moist on the inside. The bun was soft and lightly toasted. The fries were good, nothing extraordinary. It was served with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and a pickle slice. My husband ordered the balsamic salmon. It was topped with a warm portabella balsamic vinaigrette sauce. Served with almond rice and seasonal vegetables. The salmon was cooked perfectly, very moist. The balsamic vinaigrette was amazing, deep and rich and full of flavor. The veggies and rice were also good and nicely flavored. His entree came with a salad. It was a good basic salad made of spring greens, cucumber, onions, carrots, and tomatoes. He had it with a citrus vinaigrette which he said was good. We will definitely go back. On my list to try next time: Jalapeño-Mango Martini, Shrimp & Grits, The Laney Burger, and so much more! read more

We came here for brunch on Easter. I had called to make reservations, somehow the reservation was lost? But they fixed it immediately and seated us within 5 minutes! I ordered a spinach omelette that was delicious! They have great selections for kids as well! The brunch drinks looked great and I can't wait to go back when I can try one. Service was fast and friendly! The restaurant is on a marina and themed appropriately so. They have a large covered patio with seating and seating inside that you can see the water. 2nd Visit/Followup The best way to describe this place is Part Fresh/Part Fake. There are some good things about this place but its very hard to overlook some corners being cut. Lakeshore Fries caused the table to laugh. It came out with basically no cheese, three tiny cut up pieces of sausage. It just looked sad Lakeshore salad. One strawberry cut up, three walnuts, wrong cheese and very very little at that, no pear Steak and Fries. You know when you go to the chinese buffet and the steak is included, they ask you how you want it cooked and it comes out looking flat as a flipflop and you already know there is only one temp that steak can be cooked....well done. This is that steak. If you pay $16.00 for this you've been had! Fries: This is really comical to me. They serve basic frozen fries but they serve house made potato chips with house made ranch dressing. The best part is the chips are FREE? Used to love this restaurant! Trying to bring a boat there to eat is a freakin nightmare. You have to call the marina and after being passed off to two different people they reluctantly said I could park my pontoon boat there but next time call earlier. It was a Thursday at 445 pm for Gods sake. I then bring my boat, park it and ho up three flights of stairs and the door to the restaurant is LOCKED. IT WAS 5:15 by then and they were open! Pounded on the door, called their number and never got an answer. Like I said, used to love this restaurant finally gave up and went home. Awful! read more

First time we came here, had no idea just how much we would Emmy. When telling friends of this place they are surprised since it is a major upgrade from the last owners. Have stopped by 4 times; 2x for lunch; twice for dinner. They sat us for dinner on time with a reserved sign on the table. Service friendly and there when needed. Food is some of the best in town and the view of the lake is worth the drive from anywhere. A favorite and place we will continue to visit. read more

This was our first visit. The lake views were really a bonus. Service was good. One table out on the patio was full of very loud and slightly obnoxious and slightly over-served singles. We got a snapper with she crab sauce with rice and seasonal veggies to share. There was a $3 charge to split a meal. It was served on separate plates when it came out. The portions were generous for a shared meal. I ordered a Gouda and spinach dip as an appetizer. The dip was almost entirely spinach with a bit of cheese. They did bring out an order of homemade chips with ranch to each table free of charge. They were fresh and crispy. At our table, one person raved about her shrimp dinner and another had the tuna. Everyone was pleased with their meal. It was a pleasant meal out on the lake. Several people had their dogs with them on the patio. The rest room was clean and well stocked. The parking lot was pretty full despite the restaurant only had about a fourth of the tables occupied. read more

Be cautious when eating at this establishment. We have a global pandemic and a national state of emergency due to COVID-19. A sick employee called out with a 102 fever and they FIRED her because she refused to come in "just for the lunch rush." Clearly not the place I would feel safe eating from. read more

I had no real expectations of this place as we went for drinks on the patio one day and it appeared to be a "regulars" crowd (you know... same people go for drinks to see other same people who go for drinks kind of place). Finally went back on a whim for dinner and was very pleased at the thought put into the menu! Very good food! Great views! We will come again for sure! Side note of locals first impression... the night we went there was more of a crowd sitting around the bar than diners at the tables... I hope this is not always the case because the FOOD here is REALLY GOOD and should get more attention than a cocktail. I had a draft beer so can't really speak for the bar-tending, but if nothing else, the bar seems to always have a crowd. read more
