I realize this was lost revenue for Lamar's Appliance Repair, but I appreciate their honesty diagnosing the problem and being truthful that we were better off getting a new fridge instead of repairing it. Replacing the broken piece would have cost nearly as much as a new refrigerator, but that was also money they would not earn from us. I then just asked to have it put in the cheapest location right next to the panel and that was $1200. When I sent them away, they called back and said they could do $700. The second electrician I called quoted me $298 and did a timely and excellent job. Captain Electric also tried to upwell me on adding new panels making changes to electric panel inside the house which had nothing to do with the hot tub and I said "no". So none of this work was in the numbers above. Finally, they put a big sticker in my panel with their phone number so in an emergency they would be the first name i saw.

When I called and notified them, they made an appointment to come out and spray and didn't show up again. This happened two more times so I finally called to cancel my service. The only apology offered was a lame excuse and an attempt to put the blame on me because 'I should have notified them as soon as they missed their appt.' Then they wanted to make another appointment! I told them no thanks and gave them my payment information for the second spray they did. I received a call about a month later where they attempted to make another appt to come spray. I made it clear I didn't want to deal with their company because of their customer service. Fast forward 4 months later, about a week before Christmas. I got a call demanding payment for the second spray they did. I told them I'd have to look into my account and make sure it hadn't been taken out, because I had already given them my payment information. The payment had not been taken out from back in August, and being that it was Christmas weekend, I forgot to call back. I then received an invoice with 5 late charges attached. I have since called multiple times in attempt to resolve the situation and I am always sent to voice-mail. No return call has been made.
