I have been going to Dr. Steritz for a few years and appreciate his knowledge for my eye care. He is thorough and explains the results making it easy to understand. I keep coming back as I trust my care to Dr. Steritz and since I have been wearing glasses for years I like the fact Eye Trends is not a Franchise or Chain Eyecare facility. Glasses, contacts, dry eye, cataract aftercare, they support my needs. Additionally, they are in my eye insurance network so all services and glasses are reasonably priced.

I've come back a couple of time to have the frame's arms tightened, and they've never hesitated to help. Recently I needed help moving my lenses from a broken pair of glasses to the replacement pair. Not only did they help, the cleaned both my Rx lenses and my sunglass lenses, awesome! This location offers a wide selection of designed and budget frames. The prices are pretty nice and there's a look for just about everyone. Most lenses are filled on-site same day. There's an optometrist next door if you need an eye exam- not sure if Visionworks partners with this office but it's definitely nice to have them side-by-side. Price for lenses is extremely reasonable and most insurance plans are accepted. I'll keep coming back for the exemplary service!

I purchased many a pair here without incident…read more Occasionally an issue would arise but it was never anything worth discontinuing my patronage over. I only changed stores because I moved. Recently I found myself back at this location to get glasses for my son. The initial visit was uneventful and we were in and out quickly. Nearly 4 weeks later the only communication I had received from them was an emailed progress report that simply read "order delayed" with no other details. This prompted me to call the store to inquire about the status. In the past, orders only took that long because the glasses weren't made correctly the first time around so I assumed this was the case again. However, the only explanation for the delay this time was that they must have gotten lost in the mail. The person at the store was unapologetic, yet did proceed to reorder them. She said she had no idea when the glasses would be ready but promised to call me the moment they arrived. That never happened. Instead, I had to contact them after nearly 2 weeks with no word on the order just to find out that the 2nd pair was already in the store. To their credit they did grant my request to start the 12 month warranty from the time I actually received the glasses as opposed to the original order date which was over a month prior. I'm fully aware that these locations are merely store fronts and no longer make the glasses in house like they once did, therefore production or shipping mistakes aren't necessarily their fault. Given that, it makes their role as customer service providers that much more important. It wasn't until I went to the Grapevine location where I received better service from the staff and management that I was enlightened to what I was missing. I will stick to using that location for all future purchases.
