I absolutely love this place I have used them now multiple times and I can tell you that I have yet to be disappointed. The girls here do such an incredible job of making you beautiful arrangements for all occasions and the customer service is exceptional. If you were looking for a florist that can give you a Wow factor give this family owned business a try. I cannot tell you how many times I have made a phone call not knowing truly what I wanted and all they have done is asked me how much I wanted to spend and they put the arrangement together for me. The person I spoke with on the phone was extremely nice and special ordered the flowers I wanted. My mother was very happy with the flower arrangement! I will use them again in the future. This was review for Lakeside florist on capital ave Ordered well in advance of moms day with assurance on the order being done. She assured me it would be done. The arrangement I spent a lot of money was not what I ordered and instead of taking responsibility she said the arrangement had some of what I ordered. I made sure when ordering she would have what I asked for and she assured me she would only go back track. Disappointing that order was messed up and that she didn't even apologize or take responsibility. Talked to other owner and they both are cocky and claim they substitute as they see fit. They are self righteous and act like they do no wrong even tho I paid for specific order and was guaranteed it and didn't get it. Won't go backing the owner seems to get on these reviews and say how untrue the reviews are yet they all say the same thing I did which is how u pay for one thing u get another and they don't take responsibility. Their taste in flowers may not be urs yet they don't care: they don't take responsibility and the bottom line is they ruined a holiday and their cocky self righteous attitudes made it even worse.Update- they refunded half of my order. If I hadn't dealt with their cocky self righteous mouths I would be happy about it but the fact they ruined a holiday and were not one bit accountable makes me stand behind my decision to never use them again read more

Awful experience. I ordered an arrangement for a special birthday and it was not delivered. No notice to me until two days later. They claimed they left a notice on the door for the recipient but they did not. Oh and she was home when they say they tried to deliver. No apologies or even offer to refund. I just wanted to something within my budget. The person who was helping suggested a small basket with flowers, baby's breath and greenery. I left and came back about 30 minutes later and she had put together a wonderful basket. So much fuller than I thought it was going to be. Hats off to Lakeside Florist SW Capital. Absolutely horrible place... Was overcharged for an arrangement, then was delivered something I didn't order... Owner Tony refused to give a refund (even after I offered to return the wrong arrangement) and told me it was my fault that the wrong thing was delivered. Place is a joke. read more

Do not EVER use this florist. I ordered a $75 flower arrangement called "Sunflower Sweetness" (which is obviously a bouquet featuring sunflowers). What they delivered was a bouquet of daisies instead of an arrangement with sunflowers. I called and spoke with the owner and explained that the wrong arrangement had been delivered. He told me they had no sunflowers so they substituted daisies. I explained that I specifically chose this arrangement because of the sunflowers and he told me there was nothing he would do about it - no refund - and no offer to send the correct arrangement. He didn't even try calling me to explain that they were out of sunflowers because he said they were "too busy". I have never been treated this way by any business ever!
