They did not tell me about it and moved forward with CT scan. Insurance did not cover cost and now they send bill to me and want me to pay entire cost. I very rarely give a poor review unless it's highly deserved. This business is horribly managed. Firstly, they send you texts (asking for co-pays that you don't owe and to confirm appointment ) and ask you to reply back with any questions but they don't reply back. When you call for help unless you're making an appointment. ($$$$) they do not answer their phones. If you are transferred to another department, such as billing, they will not answer you go to voicemail. You leave a voicemail message and no one calls you back. I will never ever ever use this company if they're the last imaging and scanning company on earth. That's how bad they are. read more

Place seems nice and clean but this is only good thing about MM&D on Campbell. Staff is absolutelly incompetent pretty much everywhere. Front desk (could not copy images on CD to make sure it is readable). Blood work is very challenging procedures with bruises that stay for weeks. Accounting dept. prob. worst in nation. It does not look they even know insurance policies prices etc. Spoke to 3 diff. accountants, received 3 different prices for the same procedure, that including dept. supervisor. Always failed to provide proper paperwork for insurance or reimbursment, saying it will come later from accountin dept.; that means never. I have been to the Tomball office many times. I have always been very impressed with the office. But my doctor ordered an MRI for my lower back. I'm in excruciating pain. I called in Friday to ask if they received the order and schedule an appointment. I was told it would be 24-48 hours and someone would call to schedule the appointment. Nobody called. I called this morning and requested a call back. Again, nobody called. I called back after 1:30, my previous call was before 1:00, I was on hold for 13 minutes and then I was disconnected. I called back and selected the option for the operator. I asked to speak to someone in charge. She had me repeat everything and told me someone had to approve doing the MRI with a nerve stimulator (it hasn't worked in years). She, again, told me someone would call Mr back. I've had MRI's done in the past with the nerve stimulator I will no longer recommend Memorial MRI and Diagnostic. Previously, I recommended them to everyone I know. Very poor communication and service customer service! read more

Their MRI machine is big enough to fit a pencil. If your claustrophobic or weight more than 150 pounds this is probably going to feel like your in a coffin! It's not like at the hospital. Hospital MRIs are humongous you can fit 4 people in at 1 time. Not here. Just an FYI. The wait is rediculous and there was absolutely NOOOO patients there, not one so don't understand the 30 minute wait. Some lockers don't work & staff is impatient. I'd give them zero stars if I could! (I've never actually written that cliche on a review before, but here it is!) On June 8th a NP at Village Medical ordered an x-ray of my chest due to pretty severe pain i was still dealing with after a fall several days earlier. The referral department called me while i was still at the clinic and they suggested this place because it was the closest option to me. She also told me I should make an appointment because she wasn't sure they we taking walk-ins post Covid, so as I waited for a steroid injection I called to try to make an appointment. I sat on hold for about 10 minutes before I gave up. I started reading some online reviews--almost all negative--so I called the referral people back and asked if there was somewhere else I could go. I decided to go to the main village medical clinic, walked right in and got my X-ray. Got my results a while later. I could not believe my eyes when Today, A WHOLE FREAKING MONTH later I get a text "reaching out to schedule an appointment"!? Seriously? What a joke! And to top it off, the text came at 5:37, after business hours, so even if I wanted to call to schedule an X-ray a month later I'd have to wait until tomorrow to do it. I called in and it took several tries to reach someone finally a person answered and they didn't have the knowledge to set up my order that my Dr. sent. I called again and the person said they received my Dr.'s scan order but they couldn't read it because it was too small, there answering system should connect you to a rep that can expedite my order not DELAY my order. this place was a miss for me. I have been to Memorial MRI & Diagnostics many times, for different procedures (X-rays, CT scans, etc.) The problem with this place starts when you call them in order to schedule an appointment. Many times, nobody answers. Other times, they will put you on hold for ages; sometimes you will be on the phone with them and suddenly and mysteriously the call will get cut. It doesn't matter whether you have an appointment or not, you will wait for a very ... very long time. Some of the employees are just rude and extremely unsympathetic, lacking bedside manners, so very important in this industry. Whenever my doctor requests any procedure I get the paperwork and get it done elsewhere. I would not recommend this place. read more

They are very sorry, they will not call you back, I have been trying to get in touch with them regarding my gas card and no one will call me back. I even left a message with the manager and they want even call me back. I am calling my atty that sent me that way and hoping if they get enough complaints my atty will go somewhere else and do business. I went for a walk in x_Ray, for my mom who is 75 years old and was in pain. Had to take the x-rays back to the Doc so they can start the process. Was disgusted by the service, waited 30 mins before I was told we will not be able to do x-rays, today, as our technician, (young kid) has closed for the day, I called corporate and told them, they put me in another 30 mins hold and said, I am sorry but we can schedule for another day, I refused. I am being very decent, in describing the ordeal and their attitudes, here in the forum, but my rating for this place is zero 0, the client review on the website are paid models. This place sucks so avoid it as much as you can similar to any bacteria or virus. Overall, clean and quick! I only came for an X-Ray and I was in and out in 30 minutes! The staff was well organized and fast. The facilities were new and upgraded. I didn't care for the location too much but you can't really control that. For what the staff did control, they gave me good service and did it with a smile! read more

A friend recommended Memorial MRI & Diagnostic to me after she had two good experiences with them. She was right. I could not have been more happy with the level of care that I received. The facility itself is one of the cleanest doctor's offices I have ever been in. I felt like everything had been thoroughly sanitized just before I got in the room for my scans. The scanning machines were state-of-the-art, comfortable, clean and looked brand new. The best part was after the scans when the doctors walked me through exactly what showed up on the tests. They spent a good amount of time answering my questions and explaining the details of the scans. The doctors were extremely thorough and very personable and caring, and I walked away feeling that they gave me as much attention and care as they would their own family members. So that there is no confusion, I am writing about the office located at 1202 Nasa Rd. I am so upset with the lack of professionalism on the part of the mri tech that I have waited several days before writing. I went for an open mri at this location and was 13 minutes late. We drove for an hour to get there but got turned around at the end. I apologized and was prepared to reschedule if needed. Upon arriving, the receptionist told my husband and me that we were late.The tech put his head out, said nothing, but made a face! The patient who had the next appt was called to see if they were close to the office and it seemed there was time for me after all. The tech announced that 'as I was late' he would do things only one time(??) After squeezing into the seat, I asked if he thought I was far back enough and the tech said he didn't know, it was up to me.Once the machine started, I could see the tech moving his arms around and talking.( Whatever it was, he was pretty dramatic) My husband was waiting in the sitting area and heard EVERYTHING he said.Talking to the receptionist,he berated us for being late, saying we didn't care about other people. and continued to insult us for quite some time. He said very little to me when it was over. The nerve of this man! This is the people business!! i am seventy-two and have never been so rudely treated by anyone. A little training in customer service MIGHT HELP. BTW The receptionist was cordial and accommodating. Memorial MRI and Diagnostics is a very nice place to have this type of tests performed. We were called the day before to confirm and be aware of the requirement of - no food - 8 hours before the test. All Staff were cordial and helpful. The Place was clean and welcoming. The test preparation went well. The nurses were very sweet and help my wife be at ease with all necessary procedures. The test itself went without any issues. The MRI Technician was very competent, cordial and operated with great efficiency. I have no doubt our Cardiologist will be pleased with the quality of the data gathered. They called me a few days before to confirm my appt, gave me an estimated price with my insurance, and gave me all the info I needed. Good old Houston has plenty of other small businesses to take your money, waste your time, and get some entrepreneurial guy from pick a country rich... 1. Messed up, for lack of better words, my wife's blood test. They blew it and had to redo it. At which point we'd had enough and jumped back on the carousel of bullsh** that is our medical system and are trying to get authorized for another place. 2. The nurse taking blood did not remove the tourniquet so blood would not come out. She kept poking my wife and hurting her, and eventually blamed it on my wife not drinking enough water. First time for everything right? Never happened before to my wife, and oh by the way, the tourniquet is usually taken off. 3. Dingy inside. 4. Good luck getting them on the phone. I called, and called, and eventually had to call billing to get someone in appointments. Oh, fyi, after they take your blood, or ultrasound, or whatever, it's not read on site. So really, this is just a get rich quick business. They take samples, poorly, and send it to another get rich quick entrepreneur who actually does the labwork. So, you might ask, why don't we just go to the lab....? I don't know the answer to that. What I do know is that they put "Memorial" in their name to make it sound legit, because there ain't no affiliation between these charlatans and the hospital. FYI, you, the patient, have the right to ask where your labs will be complete. You do not need to take the place your doctor first offers and he or she will not be offended. After several days of excruciating pain, I finally went to my doctor and he sent me to Memorial MRI & Diagnostic for an ultrasound to check out my gallbladder. I called yesterday (Feb. 22, 2021) to schedule an appointment and the woman who answered said they don't have orders for me and I need to request them from my doctor. I verified what my insurance told me, that the facility should reach out to my physician. She told me "yes, but we won't because it's faster if you do it." I request my physician to submit the orders to them and I call to schedule. I'm put on hold for 22 minutes and they hang up on me. I call again seconds later and am put on hold for another 10 minutes to get the answering machine. I leave a message requesting a call back so I can schedule an appointment. I have yet to hear back, 24 hours later. That's fine, though. I've already received a phone call from a competitor and scheduled for this evening. And they called me. read more

Didn't send confirmation of the appointment, sent me to the wrong address on Campbell (they have 2 offices) Arrived at 9am at 1241 Campbell for MRI and Xrays at 9.30am. At 10am they call me to tell me MRI is at 9.30am and X-ray at 10.15am (what a joke!!). MRI started 45 minutes late and I finished the xrays a little before noon. Then they say they would send everything to my doctor not to worry, but they only fax the report. As I was injured I had to go to a specialist who needed the MRI. So I had to go back get the CD and there I had to wait. All that while in pain and couldn't walk. read more

Although it was my first (and so far only) procedure of this kind, the technician was very professional ad the procedure was over fairly quick. DISCLAIMER: First off, this review is for the 1346 Campbell Rd. location I have never been in a medical setting where no one knew what was going on or how to perform LOD (line of duty - military) injuries. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment for an X-Ray. I was told appointments were not necessary for X-Rays and that I can walk in as long as it is before 4:30pm. I walk in at 9:45am to sign in and then the waiting begins. 20min later I'm given forms to fill out for my X-Ray. As more time goes by, the receptionist calls me over and tells me the verification dept cannot authorize my request there is nothing in the system. I provide her with my authorization# I received. She gives this to the woman in verficiations dept and this person attempts several times to contact my insurance with no luck. They cannot find me in Tricare. Long story short, they kept telling me they were calling my insurance but that not one was answering and if I could call my insurance and have them call the medical office! I was then told by the receptionist that it may have been easier for me to have just made an appointment instead of a walk-in! Remaining calm I explained to her that I indeed called prior and was told for something as simple as an X-Ray an appointment was not necessary. So while in a 3 way phone convo with insurance and this place, I am informed that actually I should be getting an MRI and not the X-Rays afterall...ok that's fine. But then I'm told that MRI's are by appointment only and they would have to transfer me to the scheduling dept to see when their next available will be (next week). At this point I wasn't happy but haven't gotten to yelling and showing out yet! I asked the MEmorial MRI verfication person "Jennifer" if since she is speaking with my insurance nand they are telling her my MRI is approved will I still need to go back to my original doc to get this type of referral. She says no, since she has the auth#. She then tells me since I'm still sitting in the reception area, that I can have them schedule me. So, I'm explaining all this again to the woman at reception as she has no clue. Jennifer didn't "update" anything for her to see that there was no need for me to get the MRI referral since they already have the approval/auth#'s. While waiting, I decide to call my primary doctor and explain what was going on. She apologized for the mix up and faxed over another referral for them. From the outside looking in, looks like my primary was partially to blame..however, even if I did have my MRI referral, the people at this medical center still did not have the ability to even look me up to see all my approvals and authorizations anyway so i believe I still would've gone through the same fiasco. Let me just add that I didn't leave that place until 12:30pm without having been seen by anyone. There was a man there for a stress test that had already been there 1.5hr before I got there waiting for his doctor to be told the doc is running late. This place is a trip. They have terrible customer service , I've been trying to schedule an appointment for my shots and it is impossible.
