We typically order Pho in Santee and decided to try something a bit closer to home. Hubby recalled seeing a place near Arco in Lakeside, so we gave it a shot. So glad we did. We placed an order for 2 different types of Pho, mixed fried rice and the orange chicken rice plate. It was amazing! Lots of meat and very filling. My son ordered the mango Boba tea, my daughter ordered a strawberry banana smoothie, and I ordered an expresso with condensed milk. All very good. Service was great. We placed the order via phone. Excellent pho broth, probably the best in the east county. Portion size was just right. Service was pretty good. We ordered the butter and garlic chicken wings and they were delicious, nice and crispy and comes out fresh. Avocado smoothie was really good! Lemonade was just as authentic as I remembered. Prices are slightly above average. Slight knock would be cleanliness, our table was not fully clean, had particles from other before us that was left. Overall, would probably give this establishment a 4.5 star rating if Yelp had .5 increments. Can't go wrong here, coming here again for sure. read more

Customer Service here is on point! We came in on a Monday night. It was pretty busy, they were moving quickly. We had our food and drinks out in just a few short minutes. Things flowed well. The restaurant is small but it gives you that inviting "home" feeling. (Which is great when eating pho) We had, Spring rolls, egg rolls, calamari, and grilled Lemongrass Beef Pho and it's the freakin bomb! (Note: the lemongrass beef is not on the menu yet. But, you can and should order it!) Almost forgot, their boba is so good too! I have to reiterate this, the customer service here is so wonderful! My fiancé and l dined here and we thought the food was delicious along with excellent service. We started with the vegetarian spring rolls which were amazing. The tofu came out warm and cooked perfectly which a lot of places don't really do! We are big pho eaters and so I always look out for a rich and flavorful beef broth and I absolutely loved the beef broth at Lakeside Pho along with the noodles! We also tried their boba and I loved my fresh lemonade with boba - not too sweet. We also ordered their butter garlic wings which was 5/5 stars I LOVE butter garlic wings and they've had my favorite here in San Diego so far. They were perfectly crispy and came with a delicious dipping sauce that had the perfect amount of spice. If you're ever out east, we highly recommend Lakeside Pho! read more

They've worked at other Vietnamese restaurants in East County. Anyways, the food is delicious! They have a great menu with Banh mi, rice plates, and etc. So far I've tried their short rib pho, combo vermicelli and their chicken egg rolls. All delicious! I plan on ordering their fried chicken next time. I saw a couple tables order them and they look really appetizing. So far I've been coming back every week for the past few weeks.
