"I would order for delivery again!" Okay so today is a little different. I was able to deliver this restaurant to where I'm staying! I was a bit nervous but I'm happy I took the risk! The way they had packaged the food left no room for any spills or any other disasters so thank you! I ordered the pan friend gyoza and the wonton soup! The gyoza had the perfect amount of crisp. Not too greasy and crunchy and not just boiled. It came still hot and ready to eat. Fresh flavor and amazing gyoza sauce on the side! You gotta have it with the sauce. The wonton soup was huge! I wasn't expecting that much food but my goodness I'm pleased with what I received. The noodles and bok choy were separated from the broth. Then once you received the bowl you can mix them in! We wanted to try something new and I really wanted to like Pho Super Bowl, the food was cold, which is always a letdown, and the beef was very thinly sliced and lacked flavor. The chow mein only tasted better with a ton of sriracha on it. Broth didn't do much to help either. The one saving grace was the egg rolls -- crispy, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. I never order food from nasty El Cajon, and unfortunately, I made an exception this time after mistakenly thinking this was the La Mesa location on Uber Eats. That was a regrettable error. The food was extremely low quality and poorly handled. The egg rolls were placed directly in the container beside the rice noodles, which caused them to become moist and soggy. The accompanying sauce tasted diluted--almost like flavored water--which was very odd. To make matters worse, the vegetable garnish consisted of only two tiny inner pieces of romaine lettuce for five egg rolls. That level of stinginess is surprising and unacceptable for any pho restaurant. I also ordered Thai tea with boba, but the tea was missing entirely, and the boba I received was overcooked and mushy. As for the rare steak pho, the packaging alone demonstrated a lack of basic food-handling consideration. They used a container with broth at the bottom and placed the noodles in a tray on top, then laid the raw steak directly on the noodles before sealing it. As a result, by the time it arrived, the noodles were overcooked from the heat of the broth and the "rare" steak was fully cooked. Other pho restaurants have the common sense to package the meat separately so customers can add it themselves. Instead, I ended up with bloody overcooked noodles and tough, poor-quality steak. I also paid for extra steak, yet the portion I received barely resembled a standard single serving. That raises serious concerns about how minimal their regular portions must be. This experience reminded me exactly why I avoid ordering food from this area. The restaurant is clearly cutting corners at every opportunity, and unfortunately, it shows in both quality and execution. read more

We've ordered here a few times and it's steadily gone downhill. They're take out only ... I think since Covid. This place is convenient and pretty quick when you order. The broth is given in a large container and then everything else for the pho is in a plastic to go box. You have to dump everything in and then let it sit in the hot broth for awhile so the noodles can soften. That being said, the chicken breast pho has chunks of meat and it's so dry. The rare steak and brisket pho was ok but the noodles were meh. I'm just not a fan of the noodles they have here. Maybe it's because they sit in the container until you get to your destination. I placed a to go order last night an hour and a half before closing over the phone and the guy who took my order was friendly and kindly answered questions I had about the entrees. I decided in the Pho with the char broiled beef. The beef wasn't seasoned but good as it was to put in the soup. Noodles were weirdly stuck together but ok when placed in broth which was good. Given plenty of broth and bean sprouts. Wish I had a little more meat, noodles, and green onion chives. I was overall pleased with the Pho. Im NEVER returning to this Pho location again, that is Pho SuperBowl. If you know what's good for you and your pockets, DO NOT come here. This is a scam and sad of a place and business. The last time we came here, their broth and meat was so salty and when we asked for a refund the guy over the phone shook his hands on us and didn't give us anything. Not even a replacement for the food. Today, we order the Raw steak pho bowl and when we arrive home, there is ONE thinly sliced piece of meat. LITERALLY so thin, and ONLY ONE piece. With a quarter of a lemon, and their broth smelling weird.. and adding the lemon made it smell even worse. I call the place very frustrated and he says we can bring the order back and he can make it again for us, and I repeat myself and say that we're already home and I'll just have someone from uber pick it up. He says over the phone to me that it's supposed to include 10 to 15 pieces of meat, WHICH IT LITERALLY NEVER DOES. What you see in the picture I uploaded is what they gave us. The first thing I need to make clear is that I am no expert on Vietnamese cuisine. However, one thing I can articulate is the messages my taste buds send to my brain. I was in the mood for something different this evening, and since I have visited Pho Superbowl in La Mesa a couple times with good results, I decided to try their sister location that recently opened. I ordered the #11 Pho, regular bowl, with rare steak and well done brisket, and I also ordered #22 Moon Quang Noodle which later on during my meal, I found out through the waitress, that it was the hottest dish on their menu. First the Pho, The pho was generously filled with beef and noodles. The Moon Quang Noodles had a unique flavor given the base of the sauce is made from dried shrimp mixed with chilies. It included small shrimp, not as big as they advertise on the menu picture, very tender pork, and abundance of noodles, and fresh romaine lettuce with some strings of carrots, and whole peanuts. The number 6 and the Vietnamese coffee (They have milk tea and smoothie as well if you prefer sweet).That's always getting me full of energy.
