    P5 - Rare steak pho
    Juliana C.

We were in Santee running errands and visited Streets on a Saturday night. When we arrived it was fairly busy, tables full, but no customers waiting yet. We were seated along the wall which had booth seating, which I prefer. For drinks I ordered a Thai tea no boba and the hubs a coke. We order the following items for dinner: Appetizers - - Crispy egg rolls - with pork (4 pieces) - served with veggies and fish sauce, these were tasty. - Salt pepper chicken wings - (8 pieces) they were a tad over fried but flavor was good. - Spring rolls - (2 pieces) with pork and shrimp, we ordered these Togo. Hubs enjoyed these for a late evening snack. Entrees - - Combination fried rice - chicken, shrimp and cha siu (Chinese bbq pork) I liked the flavoring of the fried rice - it was not bland, but I did mix in a tiny bit of hoisin sauce. - Pho rare steak - overloaded with green onions and cilantro. We always order pho but I really wasn't feeling it that evening, so it was all the hubs. If you love tons of green onions and cilantro, get it! The broth had a really strong flavoring of the cilantro. Overall dinner was fairly good. Seemed like there were regular customers that visited often. Staff were super nice and friendly. Parking lot was not packed at all. If in the area, I'd visit again. 2026: 7

Located in Santee. Plenty of parking. Ordered the pork eggs rolls, salt and pepper wings, rare steak pho, and combination fried rice. The food was good but the wings were a little dry and they added way too much cilantro into the pho. The service was very good. They were on top of the orders and the food came out quick. Inside the restaurant was clean. If I was in Santee and had a craving for Pho, I would come here.

This place has consistently been the best place for me to get pho. The food is always good and fresh and the service is great. The restaurant is also always clean inside.

I was staying nearby and stopped in here for an early dinner. It was located in the Town Center Parkway Plaza on the west side of Cuyamaca St, just north of the 52 freeway. After looking over their menu, I ordered the P1 Signature phở đặc biệt which included oxtail, shank, flank, and brisket. It seemed pricey at first for a bowl of pho, but it was a big bowl, a hearty portion. Food was good and so was the service. It was a solid spot.

Pho was very tasty! Got the one with oxtail, flank and brisket. Interestingly, this spot doesn't have tripe and tendon. Overall the staff was friendly and enthusiastic! Definitely worth a stop in you are in the area!!

8/15/2025 - my second time and no issues. Wonderful people and the food was excellent. Had the veggie spring rolls. I didn't like the sauce it came with. Ordered the wong ton special soup and the V4. Grilled Pork. Both came out smoking hot. Both tasted very will. I went with a party of 2. Highly recommend. One down side they need to bring the appetizer out before the main dish. They did it backwards. Best. See Photos.

To start the food was absolutely amazing, my husband and I both ordered the brisket pho and it has to be the best I've had! The staff were all so kind and helpful and we got our food in record time. The kitchen's choice of music was top tier and wish it was louder ! We will definitely be back!

The dishes here are amazing. The pho noodles broth was flavorful and sides were fresh. I ordered the Pho dac biet which has all the meats. Egg rolls were perfectly crisp. Very friendly service. The place is very clean and decor is nice. The soft music was pleasant. Shall return.

One of the BEST Vietnamese restaurants I've ever been to! Instead of ordering pho (since I'm so picky with pho, I didn't want to risk it), I ordered the rice vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken, grilled beef, grilled shrimp and egg rolls. I asked that the egg rolls be vegetarian since I don't eat pork. The dish was DELICOUS!! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My friends also loved their selections, including the grilled beef banh mi, egg rolls and pho. I definitely will return to try the other dishes with confidence.

I was originally going to head to In and Out Burgers in Santee, but after driving there I quickly changed my mind. The drive through was so long, it made me reconsider. I decided to tryAnny's Fine Burgers. I ordered a regular burger with lettuce and tomato plus onion the way my Dad likes, oh and pickles too. I decided to get one also prepared the same way. I normally do not eat red meat because I am a chicken, shrimp, and fish lover but on occasion I will make an exception if a restaurant knows how to make good burgers. I ordered for both of us, but I had to quickly eat mine so I could write this review and satisfy my raging appetite . The girl behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. She brought me a plate and my bag of food. I opened the wrapper and my eyes were in awe because this bigger was large in size and looked fresh. I bit down thinking there was no way I could eat it all. But, I did! I devoured it in five minutes! It was fresh, delicious, and juicy! They seasoned it to perfection . So glad they do not overly salt their burgers. I also ordered a homemade lemonade and a side of fries for my Dad to enjoy. I better go now as I need to deliver this deliciousness to my Dad! Oh I almost forgot, they keep the place so clean and I love the music in the background . Drake was playing! This is on my favorite burger list! You need to try this hidden gem in Santee, California.

It may not…read morealways be perfect, but it's always been somewhere I look forward to coming back to, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I want to start by recognizing my server, who was attentive, kind, and professional throughout my visit. The head chef also deserves a lot of credit. After I sent my first dish back, he personally came out with the replacement, took the time to make sure it was prepared correctly, and handled the situation with professionalism. The second dish was much better, and I truly appreciated the effort he made. Unfortunately, what should have been a positive recovery turned into one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever had. After my replacement meal was brought out, another staff member--not my server or the chef--stood nearby watching me as I took my first bite. He even commented that he wanted to "make sure she's alright." While I understand the intention may have been to check on my experience, the way it was handled made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Instead of simply checking in and giving me space, he continued hovering and watching me eat. It felt like I was being observed rather than allowed to enjoy my meal. As someone who already doesn't like feeling watched while eating, this completely took away my appetite. I ended up pushing my food aside because I was so uncomfortable. It wasn't the replacement meal that ruined my experience--it was the constant hovering and feeling like I was being monitored. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because I truly do enjoy this restaurant and will likely continue coming back. The chef and my server handled everything with professionalism and care, and they deserve recognition for that. My only hope is that staff understand there's a difference between checking on a guest and making them feel like they're under a microscope. A quick check-in is appreciated; standing over someone while they eat is not. I never want another guest to leave feeling as uncomfortable as I did.

It's aromatic, intoxicating. It promises amazing food and an amazing time. Unfortunately, that's also the worst part about it because nothing inside the restaurant lives up to this promise whatsoever. The interior is about as Midwestern/country tacky as you can get. The customer service is just fine, the employees are doing the best they can with what they've got. There's really not a lot to say with that aspect, for better or worse. Although the line system and how long you wait for the subpar food is a crime in and of itself. The food itself is the most disappointing part: the majority of the offerings taste cheap, virtually all the meat is incredibly dry, and the sauce will do a little to nothing to fix that. The best thing about the food is that they have Cajun seasoning at the table that you can overload your food with, making it taste slightly more edible. This hardly fixes the fries, though, which might be the worst part about it, emphasizing the dryness of the restaurant's to a degree that can only be compared to a sprawling baking desert in the middle of July. And you can forget about healthier eating options here. All of it is mediocre at best. It would be nice to recommend a local business like this. Unfortunately, it's impossible to do that in this case. Until the restaurant completely overhauls its menu, service style, and does something to really spruce up the place to bring it up to a higher caliber, it's best to steer far clear of aroma tempting roasting aroma that lingers across the neighboring parking lots.
