We had the taco with an added taco and the pork loin. $47. This restaurant was recommended to us by the Sublette Couny information office mainly for the view. The view of the largest glacier feed lake in the lower 48 is spectacular. The food was good but not exciting. The seasonal item on the pork loin were carrots which were cooked to perfection. The tacos had a good flavor with crusted cheese tortillas which were the star of the show. In addition to the spectacular view was live entertainment which was really nice. read more

I was so excited about this place. The incredible location, the view the awe in it all, I was expecting more than I got. The view, drinks and food ultimate was great. The service.. a whole other issue. We went unattended multiple times way too long. We finally get to the point where our waitress gets to us and we see our tab and it's shows a customer charge on our receipt we didn't understand. We asked and it was because my husband order the steak and they ran out of that "size" of steak for they gave us a bigger one but never told us and never gave us the option to change but charged us anyway. We went and talked to the manager and got it taken off but the fact we had to go and ask ourselves not knowing that would happen on top of shitty service. I wouldn't go back. This is a beautiful place. I would love to eat there but it's way too expensive for what you're paying for. I like Italian food and was excited to try the menu but was terribly disappointed. My daughters plate was terrible and she couldn't finish it. Our appetizers were substandard for the price, calamari was bland and the other was small but ok, but not for the price. Leaving this restaurant so upset - Took just shy of 2hrs to get our food. Then on the way out someone tied some very thin rope across the entrance. It was nearly invisible. Permanently gave a rope burn to a "paper plate new" Z71 Tahoe. Not Recommend. At. All. Food took 2hrs!!!! read more

Huge disappointment. Having been here repeatedly in the past, and recommending to numerous people; I was shocked at how unorganized the restaurant now is. When you receive your appetizer after the meal; it is clearly the sign that the restaurant is not ready for customers until they resolve the current issues. I will not be returning after this meal. Who would have known? I found Lakeside Lodge on Hotels.com at an amazing rate, while checking in I was shown the menu. WOW !!! The trout caught my eye as well as the quail, lobster mac'n cheese, risotto, brussel sprouts with a pancetta vinaigrette. Again WOW. One day 4 of my vacation and having driven so much, I can get an amazing dinner without driving anywhere. So I got the Brussel sprouts w/pancetta vinaigrette...the best I have ever had. Portion size is huge, you could cut it in half and it would still be a deal. Same could be said for the trout. Amazingly friendly staff, great service. read more

We were staying at Lakeside Lodge for a couple days, which is on the same property as JM Horns, so were excited to have some good food within walking distance. The first day we had some happy hour stuff. That was all great food and servers along with a band playing some great music by the gorgeous lake. Boneless buffalo wings were pretty good but more like a sort of thai style chicken nugget rather than a "wing." We also had the baked pretzel and mustard which was a special... that was so tasty! Anyway my main issue was the following day we wanted to go for more of a nice dinner. I guess there was a big reservation so we weren't even able to get a table at all. So we thought we'd call in and ask to place an order for pick up... the person answering the phone seemed annoyed and just said, "No sorry we're too busy." No solutions offered or anything. I just think it's silly that cabin guests are not accounted for during restaurant bookings or private reservations seeing as their menu is posted in the room and info book. We were really disappointed and ended up going to Wind River Brewing in town. read more

So we read the other reviews before booking and staying here and having dinner as well. The front desk staff person Cady would make any front desk shine. She couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. We made reservations for dinner and had a really beautiful meal - the shrimp is bbqed and has a homemade sauce that is to die for. We shared a ribeye steak that was perfectly executed with fresh beans. My martini was made with a locally distilled vodka. We had a great time and highly recommend it. We don't understand the negative reviews. The only advice we'd give is to change the soundtrack in the restaurant from the lost in the 80s loop. Great! read more

PLEASE do not go to this restaurant. Our food took 3 hours to come out after our waiter told us it would take 20 minutes max. After we received our food, we all agreed that the food was nothing great. Finally, we paid and began to leave and drive out the exit. There was a tiny near invisible red string across the exit road that our car ran into. Our car's paint chipped and got marks. The restaurant got the police department involved and filed reports. Next morning, we walk out to our car and see a ticket on our windshield. We had to call the police department and tell them what happened. There are better options DO NOT go to this restaurant. read more

Love this place! If you are coming to Wyoming and want to really have a great experience this is the place to stay! Beautiful clean spacious cabins right on Fremont lake.... complete with bon fire pits and wooden rocking chairs on your private deck! Fremont lake is crystal clear and we enjoyed the free kayaks and SUP! We rented a pontoon boat and took it all the way to the other end of the lake.... it was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful. I will be coming back here one day! The town of Pinedale is fabulous... no chain restaurants but every place we ate was delicious! read more

My husband and I are visiting Pinedale and went here for his birthday dinner. We had a table on the second floor, with a gorgeous view of the lake. You are able to sit indoors or outside on the deck. The food was so delicious. The fries were SO good. I would recommend this restaurant hands down. read more

What an absolute gem near Pinedale, WY! My husband and I were in town for a long weekend of skiing, and we chose to eat at the restaurant based on the the Yelp reviews. We were so happy with our choice! First of all, the staff were so friendly. We chatted with the couple who runs the restaurant, as well as our server, and they were all beyond warm and welcoming. They have a nice wine list at reasonable prices, and a diverse menu. I was hard-pressed to choose between green curry, Thai beef soup, trout, and chicken schnitzel. As it was a cold night, I chose the chicken, along with a glass of Cotes du Rhone wine. The chicken was breaded and fried but not at all greasy, and served with a light creamy lemon sauce, and it was to die for. The vegetable mix and smashed red potatoes on the side were delicious as well. Often I find that the side of veggies that accompanies meat in restaurants can be pretty blah. Not this. It was a mix of zucchini, yellow squash, red onions, red bell peppers, and kale. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to crispy perfection. No soggy vegetable pile here! My husband had a burger, which he said was delicious too. We were so full we didn't have room for dessert. I guess we will just have to come back! I think sitting on the patio in the summer with a cocktail and some shrimp tacos would be divine. Highly recommend!!! read more
