Let's just say that I would have paid three times more for just dropping it off at the other repair facility which did not include the cost of the work. This is the place to go! Showed me a piece of paper with 150$ per tire. Proceeded to buy the wrong brand, I told him to get the same brand as the other two on my car. Charges me for 6 quarts of oil when my Jetta only takes 4 quarts. My check engine light was not on when I dropped my car off. They said I had an error code for a temp sensor. They looked into it and said it needed to be wrapped up properly. Somehow I get a $1200 bill. I am a little bit upset hence why I am writing this review. This shop has been running for 65 years. I'm sure that if you know Bill, he wouldn't over charge you. But if your naïve enough he will hose you for every cent. Now Bill was a really nice guy to talk to. Then it was the transmission. We tried contacting him and got zero response. At this time the truck has cost us in repairs more than we paid 6,000.00 when we purchased the truck he lied to us and told us that they had just put new work into it and that it was n great running condition. We not long afterwards found out via another mechanic that the work we were going to do on our other truck was in no way necessary. It was the owner himself who lied and ripped us off. Now we wonder how many times he over did or overcharged us over the years.

I lost all power out of nowhere. I thought, "No big deal, probably a simple fix. I've Googled stuff before." Then I pulled off the timing cover and found the timing belt snapped clean off. Not great. I shopped around and got quoted some wild prices--like, "just buy a new truck" level ridiculous. A couple places didn't even bother telling me what was wrong, just that I needed a whole new engine. No thanks. So I went back to this shop. Sam asked a few smart questions, figured out what kind of engine I had, and educated me on how it could actually be repaired--not replaced. He even helped me get it towed over for next to nothing (less than 5 miles). Total lifesaver. They've been transparent the whole time. I even swung by mid-repair like a nosy neighbor and got to see the progress. It really seems like once they've got the parts, they're fast and efficient--like one-day turnaround kind of fast. They use customer supplied parts, which is really a nice option. Most shops I go to do not (for good reason it can be a PIA). I had a front anti rock installed (CSP) and I had the wrong hardware, they corrected the hardware and the Jeep flexes out perfectly. They also replaced the front ball joints. Appreciated the quick service. Many shops have a hard time working with after market lifted and modified vehicles/parts. Khaotik did a great job for me. They understand 4x4s that work for a living.

Early September 2025, 2023 Jeep Wrangler, lightbar install plus a few other items. The hood was…read moredamaged during the work. To their credit, a Khaotik employee admitted it in writing within days, and the shop said they'd cover the repair. Working from that, I gave them a preliminary number -- $1,400, averaged off two quick visual estimates. They then asked me to get a finalized estimate, so I did. Later that month they put it in writing that they would cover the cost of the repair. The finalized estimate came back just under $2,000, because an actual inspection turned up work no walkaround was going to find. They then declined to pay the finalized estimate they had requested, and sent a check for the preliminary figure instead. I declined the check. The rest of the job had its own problems: wrong bracket kit ordered after I supplied the correct part links, rear fender liners never installed, front liners installed wrong, an agreed tire rotation skipped, and a late return that cost me rideshare fares. I sued in small claims. I didn't appear at the mediation and the case was dismissed, and I've decided not to take it any further -- they weren't going to pay what was agreed, and it stopped being worth the effort. As a result, I'm out $2k on this in damages. I'm not asking them for anything. Posting because I'd have wanted to read it first.
