I travel a great deal for work, and my least favorite aspect of travel is finding transportation at my destination. Beginning at the airport. I'd heard about this company and figured I would give it a try. The reviews were all good and the prices were beyond reasonable. Still...I had my doubts. Never have I been so thrilled to be wrong. This is a company that has managed to find employees that genuinely care about the job they are performing. Customer care is not just an additional duty, it is clearly the core value of this company. I was greeted promptly and with a level of care and concern that honestly, made me feel like I was being taken care of by family. I was not hurried or made to feel like I was just another paying customer. After an extremely long international flight, I could not have asked for better treatment while being driven to my hotel. On top of the vehicles being immaculately clean and comfortable, the prices were highly reasonable and competitive in my opinion. The driver was helpful and handled my things with the utmost care. I have never written a review before, but the kind of purported transportation service I was…read moreprovided compels me to write my first ever review. On the day before my scheduled eye surgery on 2-25-2020, I called and explained that I would need transportation not only to and from that eye surgery and a follow up office visit on 2-26-2020, but also when I would have additional eye surgery on two subsequent occasions in the next three months. I was assured that I would be picked up after those surgeries and office visits within one hour after a call to be picked up had been made. On 2-25-2020 when I was transported to the surgery center, I was again assured that I would be picked up within one hour after a call to be picked up was made. At approximately 9:30 a.m. the surgery center made the call that I should be picked up. To make sure that such a call had been made, I called myself at 10:00 a.m., and I was assured that I would be picked up within 40 minutes and that would be by "10:40" a.m. When 11:00 a.m. came and went, I called again and was informed this time that it was not known when I would be picked up and I would receive a subsequent call about the time when I would be picked up. During the subsequent call I was told that a another client had been purportedly taken on a shopping trip, that client probably would not be done shopping for another 40 minutes, and then that client would be transported on that client's return trip. Only after that would any attempt be made to pick me up. Even though I had been assured that I would be picked up at "10:40" a.m., this purported transportation remained consciously indifferent about whether that would ever actually occur. Instead I would be kept waiting whatever was the indefinite amount of time this purported transportation service chose. That included whatever amount of time it would take to provide purported service to other clients if this purported transportation service had any. Because this purported transportation service had neither called or showed up by 12:00 noon, I then called a cab company, and by the time I was picked up 30 minutes later by the cab company, it still had not called or showed up. I could forgive that no credit cards were accepted for the trip to surgery center even though its website and the business card I was given during that trip specified that both Visa and MasterCard would be accepted, I would have to be taken to a bank before my eye surgery while all banks were closed to get cash to pay for that trip by apparently using a credit card at an ATM, and the driver could not provide any amount of change for a $50.00 bill even though the fare was $40.00. However, I will never forget that this purported transportation service had decided that I should be left in the surgery center recovering from eye surgery to wait whatever amount of time it chose, and I should trust that it would eventually pick me up before the surgery center closed even though all of its prior assurances had been demonstrated to be worthless.
