I came across this place and after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Communication started via email by inquiring if they accept my insurance. They do, and they advised me when on the soonest I could make an appointment (when my 1 year since the last appointment is reached). I went ahead and made an appointment for my comprehensive eye exam and they emailed me the necessary forms (new patient, etc.) to complete prior to my appointment day. Reponse time was quick! Fast forward to appointment day (today). I walked in and was greeted by a friendly person at the desk who accepted my completed forms. I waited for a short period of time then I was called up to do the usual testing (peripheral vision, etc.) on the machines. She also did a iWellness Retina Exam (optional, additional fee, pretty cool to see a cross section of your eyeballs) to assess the health of my eye. I didn't catch her name, but the person who helped me was very friendly and helped me feel at ease. Once the tests were done, I was walked over to the neighboring room for the comprehensive eye exam with the optometrist. The optometrist who saw me, Sophia, was awesome! She's very knowledgeable (as she should be) and answered all the questions that I had. She provided helpful information to take care of my eyes and my Meibomian glands. Thorough, friendly, and professional are just a few of the many words that could describe her. I can imagine parking might be difficult during lunch time on the weekdays, but anytime before or after should be OK. They are closed every Sunday and tuesday. I was told that my contact lenses would arrive a week after my eye exam. After a week I didn't receive a call and when I called to check in, I was told that my contact lenses were delayed for a month and then was told that it was the standard wait time. So I waited, a few weeks passed by and then I received a phone call that my left eye lenses have arrived and if I already picked up my right eye. No I haven't, because they haven't arrived yet. So another week went by and I finally got a call that my right eye lenses have arrived and I can finally come and pick up my trial lenses. Keep in mind, this is my first time getting contact lenses. When I come into the store, they hand me a little brown bag with my lenses and tell me "that's it". After arriving home and realizing the difficulty of wearing lenses, I call the office of Optometry Corner to schedule a training session. The girl mentions that since it was my first time I should've had that scheduled but due to a new hire and miscommunication, I will have to wait to see a doctor for the training. I hate to be on the side of negativity or even leave a bad review on a business that requires hard work, but unfortunately the incompetence of basic customer service interaction has been ridiculously frustrating and has worn my patience thin. I'm the kind of buyer who wants to get granular with the details of what I'm spending my money on; Amy delivers on that front. She also made it easy to understand how my EyeMed insurance applied to different frame and lens combinations. At the very end, I also just asked for copies of my prescription rather than ordering my contacts at this office, and from my past experience, the office sends an email to the patient with prescription and itemized receipt of services performed or at least will offer if I want something printed or emailed. Not just a credit card receipt and printed copies of my prescription. Regardless as I asked for a copy of my prescription, you could see the despair on the front desk lady's face and then they were trying so desperately to match the yearly supply of contact lens pricing to Costco by even trying to throw in free shipping and additional boxes that they even called me just after I had hopped in my car and was already on the road. I'm sorry but that's a major turnoff in many ways and comes across as desperate. While I appreciated the offer of trying to price match Costco pricing and incentivize with the manufacturer's rebate, this wasn't my first rodeo, and I can definitely say no optometrist's office has been able to match Costco's contact lens pricing for a year supply. The exam with the doctor itself was professional and fine, but I was not a fan of the experience as a whole which just felt like they wanted to get my money and get me out the door.

Wife started calling all local pharmacies. one of the chain stores told her that all of the majors ordered from the same distributor and she might try a local. on her third call she reached the staff at Woodbridge. they not only had it they also carry the other meds I require. in addition they are friendly, knowledgeable, cooperative and helpful. they coordinated with my insurer and Walgreens to make sure everything was in order. got my prescription same day and I am now locked in to what I hope is a long term relationship with Woodbridge Pharmacy in Irvine.
