I have brought my dogs to Roni for many years, even coming up from IL before I moved to Wisconsin, and the drive was shorter. To know my dog is treated gently, kindly, and groomed so well is a gift. To have all this at a very reasonable price is wonderful! Simply put, I am scheduled out for the whole year because the schedule fills up quickly when you have a good groomer. And you get a 10% discount on the store purchases on the day of a grooming. My dog knows he gets a great treat as soon as he is in the car. The store is really well stocked, but you won't find junk pet food. The quality is on the higher end, and I don't see any foods or treats that I would not be glad to serve my dog. The bakery is fun, and they also take special requests. If you are looking for a good groomer, get on the schedule, but be patient. They are busy, but once you get started, book ahead. One other nice note is that Petlicious supports the local food pantries, and the Food Pantry of Waukesha County is very grateful for the donations of pet food for their clients.

Bailey was a frequent and regular customer at Kim's Canine Design for over 13 years; going in every 12-15 weeks for a full-service pampering. Full service grooming includes bathing, hand-drying, brush out, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and haircut. We had two dogs scheduled to be groomed but he claimed he didn't have time to take one of them when we were only 20 minutes late? He handled this situation extremely unprofessionally, didn't offer to reschedule, then he walked away while swearing under his breath. I will not return with my current or any future pets.

I asked pricing, availability and how best to schedule appointments. She answered $75, which is around double nearly anyone else I've ever talked to or gone to. I asked if she does much grooming on many doodles (as I have had several groomers 'poodle' my doodle, which is why I am so particular about groomers and will pay more for one who knows the true 'doodle' cut .) I think she actually rolled her eyes and said yes, she has been doing lots of mixed breeds for years. The demeanor, way she answered and less than warm first impression turned me off very much. We are new to town and have owned small businesses in small towns and word of mouth can be your best friend or your worst enemy, and while we all have off days I was less than impressed from this interaction...especially compared to all the other local businesses we have been fortunate enough to interact with who are warm, friendly and eager to help. Also, we choose to give our business to companies who adapt to changing times and busy lives. I go to a groomer because I am too busy to groom my own dogs, work full time and can not call during business hours during the work week to schedule appointments. We look for businesses that have scheduling online or even via email or Facebook. This business does not nor did they return a call from my two phone calls and messages I left. And prices are low for grooming and nail trims compared to the big name stores. It is so nice to have the Silver Leash and worth the half hour drive for me to have my guys groomed so well. We needed a place for our French Bulldog during the day so he wasn't alone in the hotel room while we were out sightseeing. Dogtopia was happy to have him! I called on Monday morning and made an appointment for the same day to have him evaluated to see if he would fit in to an open daycare environment. While he was being evaluated, we got a tour of the facilities. Very impressive! The place legit smells clean and does not smell like there are any dogs there. They have an excellent filtration system, messes are cleaned up immediately, and everything is cleaned really good at the end of the day. Floors are soft for the dogs feet. The outdoor area has special dog grass. Small dogs are separated from the larger dogs. The dogs are in an open play environment and play both inside and outside. There are webcams so you can watch your doggie play all day if you like. There is about a two hour period where each dog goes into his own suite for rest time. There is a window right in the front when you come in where you can watch the dogs playing and they look like they are having a good time! They have overnight accommodations as well. They will even give your dogs medications if needed. A doggie spa is available if your dog needs a bath or groom. The owner, his dad, and all the staff are really nice and I felt perfectly comfortable leaving my dog here for the day. Highly recommend!

My dog has recurring allergies and yeast infections, but instead of addressing the obvious issue, they insist on repeating unnecessary and expensive tests at every visit. Unlike human doctors, who allow medication refills for recurring conditions without a visit, this clinic forces a $75 charge for a piece of tape and a "physical" just to refill allergy and ear infection medication. Avoid this place if you value transparency and genuine care for your pet.
