My husband's parents took us here while we were visiting them. I love it! The burger place is more of a old school fast food joint. You walk up or drive up and order your food. There is no place to sit inside you have to sit outside but that's kind of the point. You get a great view of the lake while you eat. The hamburger itself was pretty good I wish I could have added more salt or something it didn't have tons of taste. Their fries are awesome. I have been coming here for over 20 years. This is not drive in fast food. Every thing is made to order. Chelan is a small charming town that is not in a speed competition. this place always had a line at the drive thru and at the walk up window, so we decided to give it a try for lunch our last day in chelan. it's a neat little shack of a place right on the lake. the prices are pretty reasonable, the food is good (i had the bacon cheeseburger), and their crinkle fries with the seasoned salt is pretty darn good. oh, and if you're in the mood for sharing some fries with friends you can buy an entire KFC sized bucket for about $8.50! read more

Awesome little burger joint. I would give them 5 stars, except that the service was pretty darn slow. The food is delicious though and the employees are friendly. They employees are usually teenagers and don't really know what they're doing all the time. For instance, sometimes they serve people out of order which makes the service slower in general. After a long day at the lake this place definately hits the spot. We googled after starving and not wanting to wait for a grill. Busy spot but quick service got the job done. My husband and i ordered burgers and we got the grilled cheese sandwhich. The burgers had just the right amount of every ingredient everything went together well in a nice delicious pack the fries were cooked very well and my daughters grill chesse was awesome as well. Very good drive through burger joint. I ordered the double cheese burger and fries. Both were great. I don't know where they get their tartar sauce but it's fantastic, and I'm somewhat of a tartar snob. Location is central and looks out right over the lake. You wont find waiters on rollerskates or 50's music on jukeboxes, but its a great greasy spoon joint and will for sure do lunch here again next time we come through. read more

Good food and good service. This great little burger joint (sounds so retro) has great fries, burgers and shakes. The only bad thing is they know me by name. I guess I like it a little to much and a little to often. My little secret is to call you order in about 5 minutes before you get there and you just pick it up and eat. The ambience of the heart of Chelan and the idea of going to a "drive in" make the experience attractive. The flavor is a bit over-enhanced by too much dressing and grease. Good food! Nice views. We parked at the marina in the one hour free parking. Fries are yummy. Had the veggie burger. My last bite he a black hair in it. It happens. I was grossed out, but like I said...... Will go there again. My daughter loved the shakes. Husband loves the butterscotch shake. Excellent fast food. Having said that you lost 4 stars today because staff left me and others trapped in the drive up line for nearly half an hour while a lady in a black BMW shopped for t-shirts. Most rude, inappropriate and maddening situation. Cars backed up to the street. Management needs to train their staff to never let this nonsense happen again. Unacceptable and inexcusable. Let another vendor operate out of this location if the current operator can't do better. read more

Sorry y'all but I would say this is definitely a cheap edible food stop with a great location. Was here with my family and extended family. No one complained but really everyone agreed it was bad - mediocre. I had the legendary hot chicken salad and it was iceberg lettuce, chopped flavorless tomato, shredded cheese and a chopped up fried chicken strip. The ice tea is soda tap tea concentrate type. Yuck. The burgers are mediocre and cheap. The fries are good but standard frozen wavy ones with a little season salt on them. The onion rings are actually onion circles which is great . They have chicken sandwiches and BLT options but we didn't try them. One of us had a hot dog and she said it was very salty. Some had milkshakes and said they were great. No chance we will go on out next visit to town. Sorry Lakeview but this menu could be improved. Visitors heed my warning if you're looking for a quality lunch. read more

What is the fuss about this place? Minimal options in downtown Chelan I suppose. Award winning French fries taste as though they came from a frozen bag. This place is NOT pet friendly despite what bring Fido says. Dogs are prohibited from patio. No on site restroom. Chicken sandwich was soggy and drowning in sauce. Milkshake was okay. read more

Sadly, we had a bad experience at our favorite local drive-thru. We ordered for a family of 10, made the effort to drive from Manson, to the drive-thru and showed up at home with many items missing....2orders of chicken strips, a burger, and onion rings. I so want to give Lakeview a good review. We are local and have been coming for years but this year the service has taken a nose dive. Yes, the fries are still good but the customer service is horrible! And now they give you way less for your money! We called in an order tonight at 7:15. At 7:25 my son arrived to pick it up. He paid for it and they told him to go wait even though it was called in. 20 minutes later he went to check on it, they realized that they failed to make the order. That would be a simple mistake if they hadn't compounded it with being extremely rude. They didn't apologize or try to make it right. The visit before last was equally unimpressive. Please go back to your old service and quantities of food! Our fries were half full. Update: They seem to have gotten more in the swing of things as the summer goes on. (They are seasonal.)
