Was disappointed the first time using this pet sitting service, as my senior kitty requires medication in pill form and I was gracious enough to say that missing a dose here and there wasn't the end of the world. Last winter, when using Lakeview Pet Care for 5/6 days, the sitter "wasn't able to give" my cat her meds on 60+% of the days. Disappointed to say the least. Yes, my kitty is scared of strangers but not aggressive at all. Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and another go for a trip this summer and requested a different sitter. The owner (who is not a vet) suggested I try a different approach with meds... arguably to make it easier for the sitter to manage medication. For being a "cat sitting" focused business, I'm surprised and disappointed with the poor service and inappropriate suggestions to changing care for my pet.
