We were nervous hiring sitters for our elderly cat who needs regular medication. But we were so impressed with Tiffany K. and Josiah L. who came from Chicago Pet Sitters! They took great care of our cat. They also wrote long notes and took photos every time they visited, which was lovely to get while travelling. They took care of everything we would do while at home- they even cleaned up the cat litter and threw it away outside the apartment, so when we came home there wasn't a smelly trash can! They brought in packages from the mail room and even offered to water our plants too! This is a somewhat an expensive option, but these folks were absolutely worth the cost. I adopted Ava from Paws in September 2018 and have been using Chicago Pet Sitters ever since. Dana and Kyle came to my home to meet Ava and go over their policies, procedures and to set expectations. It was obvious from this first meeting that they would be going above and beyond to take care of Ava when I was away and could not. Kyle has been walking Ava ever since and I could not be happier. One special touch that Chicago Pet Sitters includes is an email report after each visit, including notes about the visit, notes about whether Ava went #1 or #2 so I can track her bathroom routine throughout the day and they include pictures of Ava either out on the walk or when they get back inside. The reports are helpful but it is also a nice way to see and engage with Ava and Kyle while I am away at work. Dana and the others running the company have been great as well. They helped connect me with a dog trainer. They gave me excellent recommendations for the proper snow shoes for a dog Ava's size and weight. They connected me with a great dog groomer near my home. They are a bountiful resource of information. They clearly love dogs and take their jobs very seriously. I cannot recommend this company enough! read more

I'm writing a 2nd review after my 4th time using this agency. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. Their sitters are super diligent with their notes and photos and following your less in taking care of your pets. They also use their own knowledge and experience to do things you might not have thought of. On our recent trip away, the sitter mentioned the cats were a bit feisty when she arrived (which isn't normal for them) and then she went into detail about what she did to help them settle down and eventually adjust to her and play around. This could've easily been left out, we'd never know, but she was thorough enough to include this so we were in the loop. Anytime we're away we await the daily update from the app so we can see our fur-balls looking happy and well cared for while we're away. The notes and photos are both comical and sweet. Meow! I used Google to find a reliable pet sitter for my cat, Lennon, while I did some traveling for a few days. I shot off some info about Lennon from their website, including dates I'd be gone, and within a day I heard back from Kristin (Manager) who arranged with me (around my busy schedule) a meet & greet. From my first interaction with Kristin, I was hooked. She was accommodating, sweet, kind to Lennon, and really responsive. Everything she'd promised in our meeting (i.e. following up with me on pricing, the name of my sitter, and so on) she did - and in a timely manner. DAVE - Kristin matched us with Dave and what a great match she made!! He really was such a nice guy and really took care of Lennon so well. He text me detailed messages every time he left my apartment of his time with Lennon and once even let me know there was a package for me downstairs in the lobby that he'd brought up for me and left on my desk - thanks, Dave!!! In addition, Dave left cute notes of his time with Lennon, what Lennon did (mostly eating a purring) and shared little things like when he could hear Lenny meowing when he was getting off the elevator from all the way down the hall! I will be accepting a new job soon that is going to have me out of state for nearly 2 weeks a month. I've had a sick pet they hand fed and took to the vet for me while I was out of the country. They sent me videos of her progress as they eventually got her to eat some baby food.
