I have been a member for 3 years, it's such a great community! Sitting under the shady trees and enjoying a beer is a great weekend! Look how tired my boy is after spending time in the large yard! So many smells!

This place remains our second home and you might find us there almost every day! My pup loves everything about the park, chilling with his friends and making new friends. Owner Jodie Hooks makes sure everyone is having a good time and park attendants present to stop the unruly ones!

The Dog House has been an incredible experience for our pup, Sherlock. As a rescue, he needed a place that was safe and provided a controlled environment. A normal dog park (Cedar Bark Park) had uncontrollable variables, such as parents who didn't pay attention and aggressive dogs with no sense of parent ownership... and Sherlock didn't deserve any more trauma (or worse) than what he's already been through. Jodie has made this place heaven for Sherlock, and now it's almost every week that we go for socialization - not just for him, but now for us. The regulars are amazing people, and their dogs are cute and well behaved. What's most important to us is that Jodie (the owner) is attentive, knows everyone, and makes sure all dogs feel safe (with an attendant in with the dogs as well). What's surprising is in the summer, it isn't as hot as we thought it would be - coming around 6:30-7pm, there's more than enough shade for humans and pups! I didn't think we'd find a place as awesome as this, but... we did. Membership was 100% worth it with how much we go. Thanks Jodie, you've made a lasting forever impression for us and Sherlock.

Rest in peace to our beautiful boy, Dylan.

This place is Valhalla for dogs, y'all, and it's especially magical for healing a darling dog daughter named Dixie and her owners' devastated hearts! All three of us just suddenly lost our dog son and Dixie's ride-or-die brother, Dylan, this week, so we've all been trying to distract ourselves from our utter heartbreak with Austin adventures, and Doghouse Drinkery has been just the medical prescription for that. This is literally and non-hyperbolically the most zen and at peace that we've all been in four days! A thousand million thanks and licks, Doghouse Drinkery! Truly. We SO needed this!

Amazing community, staff and the best place ever to take your dogs!!! This is Nila's favorite place to go and my relief from a long day at work to connect with such great people! We've been so lucky for Nila to have had 8 years of being a DHD member and many more to come

Best dog park in Austin. Lots of great room for the dogs to run and play. It's always clean and the service and community is very and welcoming

My husband and I have been members at doghouse drinkery & dog park for about 3 years and we cannot say enough good things about Jodie and the park. Our two dogs Lincoln and Stella look forward to going there every week! It's their absolute favorite place to go. Everyone is so friendly and it is always a good time... music, drinks, dogs, friends, what more could you ask for?

We love this dog park. We've been visiting regularly for years and never had a bad experience. Fun and relaxing environment to bring your dogs. The owner, Jodi is always on top of everything, and really enjoys her job! She also allows and partakes in many fundraisers to help animals. The music, scenery and people make it an enjoyable atmosphere. We live about 20-25 minutes away and try to do at least a weekly visit when the weather is nice.

Been to this dog park/drinkery once before COVID, and I will tell you it was a good experience. Decided we wanted to return with our neighbor who is an avid Dog House Drinkery resident. Unfortunately, I can't say our experience was positive this time. To start off, we walk up to the front where you pay your $8 admission fee (no biggie). They ask to see your dog's vaccination status (no biggie) in which as soon as I bring my dog around the corner, the lady in the front gave a not-so-friendly welcoming look. My fiancé asks out of habit if the Dog House Drinkery has Ranch Water, in which the lady working the front states "well we have a menu and visual aids right here." (our faces to be exact). So we said, "okay, thanks" then ordered our drinks. Good selection of drinks and priced fair. So, as we are paying for our drinks, the lady looks over the bar at our dog and gives the look she did before. Cool. ***Come to find out, the lady in the front is the owner! Not a great way to welcome guests. *** So we continued to walk him over, while still on his leash so he can explore and get accustomed to the other dogs and what not. He goes potty (#2) and I pick it up. I throw away the poop bag in the garbage next to where my dog pooped. Come to find out, the pet attendant asks me "oh did you throw your poop bag away?" Of course I said yes because who leaves poop or poop bags in public areas. She proceeds to tell me it needs to go in 1 of 2 trash cans allllll the way in the back of the park. I get it - no smelly park. But I didn't know that. There were no signs. She proceeds to state "well I don't want you to go through the trash." Well, I got the trash bag of poop and walked towards the back corner of the dog park to throw it away. So, We go into the dog park - no issues. My fiancé, me and our neighbor kept a watch and close eye on our dogs. No issues. Our dog comes back to us and another black furry dog comes in and sniffs our dog's junk (no biggie) but our dog didn't enjoy that and became irritated which we were able to redirect. One of the pet attendants came up to us after we redirected the dogs and I stated that the other dog became too nosy, which is what all dogs do. However, the attendant states "well your dog has been trying to hump every dog in here." FALSE. I and my fiancé, as well as my neighbor who knows our dog, watched and there were NO incidents of humping. She states that the black furry dog does have some alpha-issues but he's good. Our dog did connect with another dog, whom the owner and I came to mutual understanding that ALL dogs have personalities like people and that we were able to redirect with no issues. Later this lady and her dog hung out with us-no issues. Later towards the time we were going to leave, the pet attendant comes out with her cell phone and took a pic of us and our dogs at our table WITHOUT our permission and walks away. The pet attendant kept making snarky remarks at us with no reasoning. Making comments about our dog while he was just laying down. Wow. Immediately stated we will NOT be returning as we did NOT have a positive experience and felt as though our dog and us were completely judged... right off the bat. Our dog did have a good time though, as pictured below.

Hubby ordered the filet $37, he thought it was good, but over priced. You get some yummy mashed potatoes but no side salad or veggies. Hmmm! We also ordered the happy hour deviled eggs. Plenty of outdoor tvs and you can hear the sports on the tv so much appreciated to get a good drink and watch sports. The venue is clean, large open spaces, big drink menu so any beer and cocktail they got it. For me the location, how clean the inside and outside was, the fun factor is a solid 10/10. Great overall atmosphere. I will say the let down is some of the food items, it needs help. I only took pictures of the fish n chips meal but I ordered fried pickles, had a few wings, chips and dip, and egg rolls. The egg rolls are nice and crunchy, it had a corn and bean interior, nice warm with the extra crispy exterior. Good ranch dipping sauce. The wings are also good, crispy exterior nice fluffy chicken interior, it's not the best wings I've had but also not the worst. The flavor menu is a little short so you're not going to get a ton to choose from. The chips and salsa, the queso is amazing. Nice creamy, thick, cheese flavor, the salsa is nice and semi chunky. Both hold on to chips but the chips we got were ultra stale. I mean rock hard. We asked for new chips and luckily the new chips were fresh. The let down had to be the fish and chips. The batter was too thick, the batter also was still raw. The cod is nice and semi thick, still cooked all the way but since the batter was soo thick, it didn't have that crisp factor the crunchy flavor was gone, it didn't have the crispy exterior. In the pictures you'll see how thick it was. The waffle fries were ok, not the best not the worst just in the middle, still crispy but it was semi cold when we got them.

First time in... Stop by for a quick lunch. My selection was the blackened chicken, Caesar salad…read moreand a unsweetened iced tea. The salad itself was average fare - I apologies. I took a picture, but it disappeared... The salad was tossed in a very large amount of Caesar dressing, too much for my taste and took away from the overall taste of the salad. The chicken was ordered to be blackened, but it was void of any taste other than the Caesar dressing. This place has tons of food options, I will definitely be back, but will make another food choice. The reason I am definitely coming back is because of the service. Presley gave outstanding service from the moment. I sat down to the time I was leaving the restaurant. Very friendly, attentive without being suffocating and really added to my visit The tea was a disappointment, too weak - hardly had any color to it... The place had lots of energy and a great vibe. I can only imagine what it be like on a game day... Definitely a place to check out and try some of their bar food and cold beer plenty of taps with a good variety of choices

This place isn't horribly bad. It could be a lot better, but unfortunately, they cannot seem to…read morehire the right staff. There were approximately six parties in the entire restaurant and my drink went dry a couple times. We ordered the simplest things on the menu and while they were good, I just feel like they need to stop hiring kids that just don or get service. The food is good when it comes out, but asking if things are ok and walking away before getting an answer is not good. This is my 5th time here, and this is the only complaint I have. The service is shabby. Food is great... service is why I'm keeping it at 3 stars for now. I'll come back next month.

Cold beer, nice people, good pizza. Despite living only…read moreabout 15 miles south I don't venture into Cedar Park very often. As I was leaving the We Are Blood donor center on Bell Boulevard, I thought "why not check out a brewery I don't visit very often for lunch?" (kids, I am a professional. Don't try this at home--a brewery visit right after dropping a pint is probably not a donor center recommendation for most normal folks). A search on "breweries near me" revealed that this spot was 1 mile away. Winner. Plenty of parking front and side, the taproom was pleasant inside and out. I took a seat at a nearly full bar next to a good group of World Cup (ESP/AUT) watchers. Two big TVs over the bar, in a large taproom/dining area with 5 more, shared with the sort of "built-in food truck" called "600 Degrees Pizza" except it's a proper pizza shop, no wheels. There's a shaded outdoor patio with a bar window, and 5 more TVs, and a covered tent area beyond that, with a play area for the kiddos. Had a Ray Ray Hazy IPA, crisp and cold and delicious NE-style IPA. I walked over to the pizza counter and ordered a slice, considered the slice/salad lunch special but opted for the HH slice special, pepperoni at $5. Minutes later a guy delivered the single largest pizza slice I have ever tried to hold in my hand to my seat at the bar. Apparently they do a 6-cut TWENTY FOUR INCH PIE for slices, so my slice was 75.4 square inches of tasty gooey goodness. Unwieldy, and took some tactical consumption logistics calculation, but I finished every bit--a meal for me, and I was glad I skipped the salad. Very good pie, and VERY filling. One more small beer, from Jester King, as I watched Spain knock Austria out 3-0. Friendly folks on both sides of the bar, good beer, and good food in a nice taproom. I'll be back.

Whitestone Brewery was another brewery we went to when we were on our vacation to the Austin, Texas…read morearea. With this brewery I got a beer type I don't always get and when I do it's a nice change of pace and that is a Brown Ale. I took the opportunity to get one here and the name of this brewery's version is a fun one... it's called Velvet Nunchuks. The flavor profile in this one is good... in it you can have fun with detecting caramel, roastiness and maltiness. The beer is smooth and has nice mouthful due to that. Whitestone was a good stop even if it is a bit of a ways from downtown Austin.
