This place remains our second home and you might find us there almost every day! My pup loves everything about the park, chilling with his friends and making new friends. Owner Jodie Hooks makes sure everyone is having a good time and park attendants present to stop the unruly ones!

Amazing community, staff and the best place ever to take your dogs!!! This is Nila's favorite place to go and my relief from a long day at work to connect with such great people! We've been so lucky for Nila to have had 8 years of being a DHD member and many more to come

Best dog park in Austin. Lots of great room for the dogs to run and play. It's always clean and the service and community is very and welcoming

The Dog House has been an incredible experience for our pup, Sherlock. As a rescue, he needed a place that was safe and provided a controlled environment. A normal dog park (Cedar Bark Park) had uncontrollable variables, such as parents who didn't pay attention and aggressive dogs with no sense of parent ownership... and Sherlock didn't deserve any more trauma (or worse) than what he's already been through. Jodie has made this place heaven for Sherlock, and now it's almost every week that we go for socialization - not just for him, but now for us. The regulars are amazing people, and their dogs are cute and well behaved. What's most important to us is that Jodie (the owner) is attentive, knows everyone, and makes sure all dogs feel safe (with an attendant in with the dogs as well). What's surprising is in the summer, it isn't as hot as we thought it would be - coming around 6:30-7pm, there's more than enough shade for humans and pups! I didn't think we'd find a place as awesome as this, but... we did. Membership was 100% worth it with how much we go. Thanks Jodie, you've made a lasting forever impression for us and Sherlock.

Rest in peace to our beautiful boy, Dylan.

This place is Valhalla for dogs, y'all, and it's especially magical for healing a darling dog daughter named Dixie and her owners' devastated hearts! All three of us just suddenly lost our dog son and Dixie's ride-or-die brother, Dylan, this week, so we've all been trying to distract ourselves from our utter heartbreak with Austin adventures, and Doghouse Drinkery has been just the medical prescription for that. This is literally and non-hyperbolically the most zen and at peace that we've all been in four days! A thousand million thanks and licks, Doghouse Drinkery! Truly. We SO needed this!

My husband and I have been members at doghouse drinkery & dog park for about 3 years and we cannot say enough good things about Jodie and the park. Our two dogs Lincoln and Stella look forward to going there every week! It's their absolute favorite place to go. Everyone is so friendly and it is always a good time... music, drinks, dogs, friends, what more could you ask for?

We love this dog park. We've been visiting regularly for years and never had a bad experience. Fun and relaxing environment to bring your dogs. The owner, Jodi is always on top of everything, and really enjoys her job! She also allows and partakes in many fundraisers to help animals. The music, scenery and people make it an enjoyable atmosphere. We live about 20-25 minutes away and try to do at least a weekly visit when the weather is nice.

This place is fantastic! Great beer and prices. We love bringing our dogs to a place that treats you and your pups like gold. Service is worth more than 5 stars here. You can take a seat within all the trees and let your dogs have a great play time while you sip. Highly recommend!

I pulled up thinking I was just grabbing a little happy hour snack, and suddenly I'm knee-deep in plates like I'm at an all-you-can-eat taste-test sponsored by destiny. Happy hour food? We ordered everything. Literally. If it was on the happy hour menu, we said "yes." If there was a button that said "Are you sure?" we hit "confirm" without reading the terms and conditions. No regrets. Happy hour drinks? Dangerous. Delicious. Deceptively smooth. One more and I would've started singing along to the music videos like I was auditioning for a comeback tour nobody asked for. And speaking of music-- The vibe was straight fire. They were blasting 80s and 90s hits with the actual music videos playing, and I swear for a second I forgot where I was. I thought I was in a time machine, or at least in some kind of retro-themed VIP lounge where everyone has good taste. The nostalgia was hitting harder than the cocktails. The decor? Chef's kiss. It's giving "classy with personality," like the place knows it looks good but doesn't need to brag about it. Service? Perfect. Impeccable. Smooth like they rehearsed it. Savannah and Silvana were fantastic -- professional, friendly, zero stress, and somehow always there with exactly what we needed without hovering like a drone. Ten out of ten humans. The wild part? They have a huge menu. Like, "bring reading glasses" huge. But I didn't even make it past happy hour because that table turned into a small culinary battlefield and I was happily losing. I'm almost embarrassed it took me this long to discover this spot. This place is a hidden gem, and I'm already planning my return like it's a sequel

Hubby ordered the filet $37, he thought it was good, but over priced. You get some yummy mashed potatoes but no side salad or veggies. Hmmm! We also ordered the happy hour deviled eggs. They covered them in what I think was chili powder. The filling itself was good but getting a mouthful of chili powder was off putting. The waiter was really good. He kept our drinks full. Plenty of outdoor tvs and you can hear the sports on the tv so much appreciated to get a good drink and watch sports. The venue is clean, large open spaces, big drink menu so any beer and cocktail they got it. For me the location, how clean the inside and outside was, the fun factor is a solid 10/10. Great overall atmosphere. I will say the let down is some of the food items, it needs help. I only took pictures of the fish n chips meal but I ordered fried pickles, had a few wings, chips and dip, and egg rolls. The egg rolls are nice and crunchy, it had a corn and bean interior, nice warm with the extra crispy exterior. Good ranch dipping sauce. The wings are also good, crispy exterior nice fluffy chicken interior, it's not the best wings I've had but also not the worst. The flavor menu is a little short so you're not going to get a ton to choose from. The chips and salsa, the queso is amazing. Nice creamy, thick, cheese flavor, the salsa is nice and semi chunky. Both hold on to chips but the chips we got were ultra stale. I mean rock hard. We asked for new chips and luckily the new chips were fresh. The let down had to be the fish and chips. The batter was too thick, the batter also was still raw. The cod is nice and semi thick, still cooked all the way but since the batter was soo thick, it didn't have that crisp factor the crunchy flavor was gone, it didn't have the crispy exterior. In the pictures you'll see how thick it was. The waffle fries were ok, not the best not the worst just in the middle, still crispy but it was semi cold when we got them.

I've never heard of a stipulation to get a happy hour appetizer price The overall layout of this restaurant is excellent. I can see it hopping on Sunday afternoons for NFL games and Saturdays in the fall for college football games. It was very empty on a Tuesday night but most places are slow Monday through Wednesday. I hope the place can get it together with their service, logical reasoning, and implement some more common sense and hire more assertive employees and managers. The business has a music bingo on Friday nights (or every other) which can be over excessively load. I was with a group of 15+ people - fellow members of an International club visiting the location. The group decided to move out onto the patio because it was too load in the dining area to have a conversation. Shortly thereafter that, the host of the music bingo placed a load speaker out onto the patio and turned it up full blast. We tried to get him to turn it down, but he refused. Thus, our group disbanded leaving only 4 of us. It continued to be extremely load out on the patio and several people started to complain... so I took it onto my own to to turn the speaker down to a reasonable level - I received a applause from the other customers. Within moments, a staff member walked out onto the patio and turned the speaker up to a ear deafening level. I asked her to turn it down and her response was... "this is the way, it always is!" With an attitude like that I became upset - I gave her a piece of mind (a couple of word slipped out - nothing that she hasn't heard before in her life). Moments later, the manager came out and admonished me in a very disturbing manner, which again, was poorly handled. It will be suggesting to my fellow International members and my Meetup group, to look for alternative venues that will appreciate our business (there so many in Cedar Park). Apparently, Whitestone Brewery has more customers than they need. I didn't realize that I had not completed my review - this goes back to the beginning of the year. Note: the response from the Owner is completely inaccurate. Ryan wasn't even there the night it happen - only going on what his employees told him. I have witnesses (business owners that are very involved with the community) that observed the entire event and they were taken back by the whole disregard to customer service. Instead of being apologetic, he throws around statements that legitimizes his inadequacies. A real piece of work.
