The director Jess and the finance gal, Christian are prompt, professional, and friendly. The pricing is fair in regard to how expensive daycare is in general. They have an in-house kitchen/dietician/lunch lady and offer hot lunch to babies all the way up to kindergarten age. My daughter has eaten things like Spanish rice and beans and ham, or raviolis, or even chicken sausage and veggies. The snacks are healthy and tasty too. I enjoy that she gets to taste all different types of food. They have fun and educational age appropriate crafts and activities for the kids. The teachers are kind and welcoming. Miss Lasheekah and miss Olivia are my kids favorite teachers. The older children do centers or stations and are always doing something fun or educational. You can talk to staff or pay your tuition all in an app set up with the school. Tuition also covers diapers and milk . They are also allergy friendly. The children get to go outside and play often too. They have their own fenced in backyards with gardens for the kids to work on and learn . All in all, it is a clean, safe, healthy environment for children to learn and play .

I visited the YMCA today because I called and was asking about getting a 50m swim test done here…read more We were told to come in and make an appointment. Patrick, who works at the front desk, was extremely helpful and spent a good amount of time getting us to where we needed to go for a swim test. We were there to make an appointment but he called up Henk to ask if he could help us with this process. Henk was so friendly and helpful as well. Instead of making an appointment for another day, they asked if we had our swim clothes with us (thank goodness I prepared myself just in case) and had us do the swim test right then and there. Henk emailed us the letter with his signature a few hours after we completed the test. We were not charged anything for using the facilities and getting a test done. This was by far the best experience and the staff were so accommodating to us. I've been calling and emailing the Stamford YMCA for the same test and it was not as consistent as Darien (it took two weeks, two calls, and numerous emails to get help from them). Darien was extremely helpful and we are so appreciative of the staff there! Patrick is new to the YMCA but he was amazing. We greatly appreciate his help in contacting Henk for us. Henk's last day is Thursday so we came at the best time. He was incredibly friendly and excited for us as to why we needed this swim test. The facilities were amazing and the decor was beautiful. This was probably the nicest YMCA I've ever been to. Thank you Darien YMCA!! You really helped us with this!!

My grandkids have been coming here for about 3 years and the love it. They look forward to the activities but most especially the pool time. The kids are safe and they have a wonderful time making friends and doing activities. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. If you are looking for a training and workout facility they have another location not too far from there.

Just a really beautiful environment to improve yourself physically. They have all kinds of offerings for whatever type of workout or training style you prefer. The staff there is extremely nice yet motivating. Sara, Cat and everyone there couldn't have been nicer. I even had a minor billing issue (which was my fault) and Sara the owner wanted to give me the class for free. I resolved the issue the following day but that was very nice of them. Oxygen also has its own dedicated parking lot which makes it nice and easy to get in and out. There are some great little shops and eateries/coffee places nearby as well. I recommend everyone check it out. Sign up for a class and see for yourself.

This facility actively markets the ability to cancel or suspend your membership at any time, for…read moreany reason, without penalty. It's part of the sales pitch they make when you first go in. On the day I needed to suspend my membership (in advance of an extended time away) I told the person at the front desk upon my arrival there that I needed to suspend my membership and wanted to confirm that I could do so without penalty. She said it wasn't a problem, and asked if I knew when I'd be back to re-start the membership. Because I didn't know, she said we could leave it suspended indefinitely and that whenever I was back they could re-instate it. Again, I asked if this was without penalty, and again she confirmed. I then went for my final work out. On may way *out* of the facility that day, a different person at the front desk said that she'd been told that I wanted to suspend my membership, but that I needed to sign a form to put this into effect. I was in a rush at that point as my workout had gone late, so I quickly signed the form and left. Little did I know that by signing I was agreeing to pay a $50/mo fee to keep my membership on hold. Setting aside for a moment that it doesn't cost the facility anything to leave a membership on hold, this was in direct contradiction to what I'd been told on multiple occasions. I was a member in good standing at the club for a long time prior to this incident. I paid a great deal extra for personal training, etc. I recommended the place to two friends, both of whom joined. I gave the staff at Oxygen every opportunity to make this situation right before taking the step to write this review and file with the BBB. They chose not to, which to me says a great deal about a business, its owners and their practices. It's classically pennywise and pound foolish on their part. This is a terrible, consumer-unfriendly policy, that is wielded in a sloppy manner.
