Gene is one of the most experienced technicians I've come across for an excellent massage. This is not a spa, but actual real work to loosen and unwind stress and knots. He combines massage techniques with breathing exercises to loosen tight muscles. I left feeling 100 x's lighter in my shoulders/neck and spine. It was truly a helpful experience and worth the $$$. There were a few hiccups though that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. For starters, we booked our appointment for 3 massages, two for my parents, and the masseuse didn't show up for them. The whole point of that morning was to unwind with my parents so it ruined that rather quickly. It's also worth noting this place does not have a ton of aesthetic appeal. I was fine with it, but if you're going here thinking you're walking into a serene spa, it's not the case. This is therapy - as clearly stated in the name - but others should set expectations. Also, if you're handicap or on crutches, note that the entrance has quite a few stairs (over 15) so be prepared to go up. read more

Excellent! My boyfriend and I were staying in Lambertville for a weekend getaway from NYC and wanted a couples massage. We found this spot and decided to check it out and both agreed it was one of the best massages we've ever had. This is a true massage therapy place to work on muscle issues, it's not a fluff "massage" with just relaxing music. Gene was so kind, professional and knowledgeable, he has 20-30 years experience and it shows. I just had a car accident and suffer from headaches and he helped loosen several knots in my neck and back. Felt like a new person after. He has an almost magical knowing of what is wrong with your body, spirit and mind, coupled with an extensive knowledge of how to correct it. If not directly through the massage, he counsels you where to go to get the health care you may need. During the actual massage, he never fails to completely relax my body and mind, employing many techniques from his extensive knowledge as well as modalities like aromatherapy. My fiance and I stopped by this past weekend to get a couple's massage. The business layout is a little informal, but the massages were great and we had no problem relaxing (I fell asleep during mine which should attest to how good it was). The staff was friendly and I felt great afterward. My favorite part was that we were able to get in and out without a problem or without the staff bugging us to sign up for memberships or any of those other high-pressure sales tactics which seem to persist across more of the formal franchise massage businesses.
