When we ask about which location the service would be, we were told it was a private service and he couldn't divulge that information. What a moron- I knew it was a private service and I wasn't going to crash it as I live 18 hours away. However, the florists need to know where the flowers are to go and without him telling me which, it has turned into a debacle. The flowers did NOT arrive at the funeral. The 1-800 flower agency said the funeral home wouldn't receive the flowers. The funeral home said the florist didn't have the flowers we'd ordered. And after all the bologna, no one (not e 1-800 service, not the funeral jome, not the local florist) has called to let us know that the ball has been dropped. Why in the world the fella at the funeral home wouldn't even let us know what location the funeral would take place is beyond me. He needs to be educated or terminated so this kind of crap doesn't happen again. If someone at this funeral home would like to contact me, my phone number is 256 5774037. So I get punished because THEY came 6 HOURS early?? Did not pay the $150. Got screwed out of time I already paid for. Bottom line: Unreliable, shady billing, zero customer service. Funeral homes can be so different I've learned, some charging for EVERY little thing, pay for having chairs at the viewing, or severely overcharging for the flowers on top of the casket. Adam Mason Funeral home did not do that. Scott Mason is the person that took care of the whole funeral was wonderful. I was able to text him at nearly midnight when I thought of a question. He answered immediately with a response. The correct response. The preparation of my loved one was also outstanding. He looked like he was sleeping, cleaned up perfectly and so at peace. A memory that will stay with me forever, not the one at the hospital. They also worked with us wanting to bring my loved ones pet. No problem. We were also allowed to leave some notes in the casket with him, an issue that other funeral homes had. I have to say there is nothing negative at all about this funeral home, it's staff, or location. Go with a funeral home that is local, doesn't have corporate offices, those are the ones where you become a number. Again, I will highly recommend this funeral home to anyone who is in need because you're treated like family.
