My nail artist was so kind and had a good conversation. He didn't tell me his name but I remember him. He did an amazing job, I think they're so pretty. We ran out of time to do my pedi but I'll be back. The nail salon was so clean and spacious. I loved the simple but elegant decoration, and the large sinks to wash your hands are so pretty. I made an appointment here after seeing a lot of positive reviews on Google. I got a pedicure that was supposed to last 50 minutes, but actually lasted less than 30. If it was a great job done I wouldn't be complaining. They skipped a lot of steps in the process and what they did do was pretty lackluster. They barely scrubbed my feet and didn't even moisturize them. The polish needed another coat. There was polish all around my toenails until I got home and took care of it myself. Oh well, just wanted some nice toes for the fair... and only spent $70. I will say, the place is really nice inside! After seeing it, I was so sure I wouldn't regret my experience. read more

I visit this nail salon once a month for a dip nail manicure, and have done so regularly for about a year now. This is the nicest salon near me in regard to the aesthetic, which is why I keep coming back. I realistically just don't have the time to drive out to the east end after work and so on, so this place is the best option. The pricing is very fair, which is also a nice bonus. As far as quality goes, it really is very hit or miss. A dip manicure is a fairly simple request, and I never get designs or any additions so I'll base my review on that. As odd as it is, I always know I'm going to be leaving with cuts to my fingers or super thick acrylic if I am sat with one of the lady technicians. I have actually never had one of the women give a nice clean, cut free dip manicure. The nails are always SUPER SpongeBob square shaped when I ask for them to be rounded off. The acrylic is applied extremely thick, and recently when I've asked the woman to please thin them down a bit she said she had done that already and they had to be thick bc my nails are bad. She didn't soak my previous dip nails off, she just filed them down a bit and applied acrylic over top of the previous manicure- I'll post photos. I usually just accept what I got and head out because I have a limited time that I'm available to be at the salon and I don't have time to argue with them about what I like and don't like, especially when the tendency is to place the blame on me anyway. There is one lady there, Vi I believe, who did a wonderful manicure and pedicure. She was also very sweet and talkative- I'd highly recommend her. That being said, I usually leave with a nice set when I am sat with one of the gentlemen. They ask me exactly what I want and offer advice on what would look best. They have friendly conversation and are personable. I get several compliments usually when one of them do my nails. I'm not sure why this is, but this has been my documented experience after visiting consistently for a year and some change. Overall I'd recommend this salon with the caveat that you have to have plenty of time available to be there, and that you have no qualms MAKING them correct something you don't like- because they will send you out the door knowing something doesn't look great if you don't catch it. read more

I have been here several times with no issues in the past, but today's visit was enough to make me stop coming. I scheduled an appointment for a new set of ombré nails and a pedicure. The pedicure came out great. The ombré nails, however, had a horrible start. My appointment was with anyone available. I got a bald man with a rude demeanor who had gauged ears. I had gotten ombré nails previously and I was having them changed out and redone. I asked for a simple black ombré with maybe some hearts. He didn't seem to want to do it and I said we could do some glitter instead. He tried to get me to change my mind and I acquiesced and said just black ombré was fine because I was on a bit of a time limit. He then started to remove my gel ombré nails with a drill. No soaking, no nothing. He drilled so much and at such a high speed that it burned me. I told him it hurt and that he was hurting me and he kept going. I had to repeat myself before he stopped. Then he kept going. I told him it hurt too much to keep going and he then rudely asked if I wanted to "request someone else" to which I asked why he couldn't do my nails without hurting me. I've never had someone hurt me that much while drilling my nails. He should have soaked it off but was apparently too lazy to do so. He disappeared and then came back and told me to go to another table, apparently the same person who had done my nails the prior visit. He rudely pointed at a different table so I walked over, still trying to figure out why the hell he couldn't do my nails without drilling them to death and hurting me. There's no excuse for this shoddy behavior when I tip well and these services are priced so high. If this man is too lazy and incompetent to do nails that I had requested when I made my appointment, then maybe he should pursue another career. When I sat down at the table I didn't get the tech I was told was going to work with me after being told it would be 15 minutes. Someone else was seated right next to me instead. I'm still sitting here waiting for my new nail tech and I honestly don't know what I'm waiting for now, but I certainly won't be coming back here. I pay too much for this kind of disgusting service. I'll update if and when I finally get someone to work on my nails as it's now 6:28 and I arrived at 4:45 and had my pedicure, but now have to wait because someone apparently didn't know how to not absolutely DESTROY nails. This salon closes in an hour. I shouldn't be punished by being made to wait because an incompetent and rude man didn't want to try to be gentler or more professional. read more
