The black gel was not doubled up as it looked like one coat - very gray and transparent for black gel polish. While there my daughter provided feedback to the nail tech on critique to correct her nails several times. Even asking if he could just paint them all black because the French tip was a challenge for him. His response was, "That will be extra money. " She called me upset, and I met her at the salon before their 5 PM closing time--we arrived at 4:56. However, the doors were already locked. We seen them inside. When we called, they answered but said they had shut everything down for the day. They told us she could return on Tuesday because the nail technician spent a long time on her nails. I explained he may have taken a long time but he did a very poor service. I explained that my daughter has a busy schedule--she's a military service member and a student at UK--and wouldn't be able to return as she would be leaving Louisville today. I requested a refund, but they refused. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Beauty Nail Salon based on their lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

It is a ice option for a restless impatient dad to have the option to get around and browse a store while the girls are waiting or getting there nails worked on. So this is a good spot for multi taskers or people who can't sit still while waiting. Overall solid nail shop. I'm taking the wife and daughters word here when they said they did a good job.
