We were closely monitoring the weather and had a reservation for Friday. The weather did not appear to be in our favor so we contacted Amber. She was such a doll! She agreed that Thursday would be our best option and since she had availability she rescheduled us. We arrived at 8am and after a safety brief, she provided a highlighted map of where we needed to go. It took us about 5 hours to complete our mission, so much fun. The ATVs were in good working order and the helmets fit just fine. I highly recommend Amber and BAC! P.S. if you are a geocacher, CALL! Don't book online.

Hello y'all, just an update on our experience with mountain top adventures. So our first 3 days…read morethere out of 7 our unit had no air conditioning. The air conditioning was out on the third day. The electricity went out and spoiled all of the food that we were cooking the whole time we were there. My son was making videos of the rats that were coming out from underneath the sink and going around the cabinet and eating our dog food and then whenever we left there we got an additional $300 cost and getting rid of all of the bed bugs that we got while we received while we were staying in their cabins. I have made several attempts to reach out to the company to get some kind of refund for our stay and the arrogant owner or his staff never even took the time to call us back. They laughed on our face and told us they would not give us any kind of refund and if we don't come back they don't care. Unfortunately, sometimes when you travel from Texas all the way up to like West Virginia and you don't know anybody. You don't know who to choose and we made the worst choice we could have. There are other companies out there that have amazing people and they take care of their people. I just wish we would have chosen differently. The only thing good about our experience was the young lady that cleaned and service the units. Her name was Sissy. She was an amazing and she tried to help us the best she could. But when you work for a company that's in control she had no control but she tried so. Thank you Sissy........... P.S. The only reason I gave this company a one star. Butch (owner) was top notch, and answered all our questions quickly and handled any issues. Common area is huge and well stocked with comfortable furniture and eating areas, large bathrooms and spotless kitchen were both great We had one tiny issue with hot water in the showers but we got that handled quickly. There is a powerful hose located next to a expanded metal deck to wash machines off.

The back ramp turns into a porch that looked out over a nice drop to a wide open view of the mountains with a crest of sunset. Having thier own gas station made easy go on the sxs. One day we did over 90 miles, of which 15 were on the road. Heard they now have a trail head that goes to Kentucky. If you like Windrock then it's worth looking here. We ride Florida, however it's great to enjoy all of America off road.

Machines were wet and dirty when we arrived which wouldn't have been a big deal but we still had a…read moreto pay $70 cleaning fee for machines that weren't clean when we took them, one of the two machines had huge cracks in the center of the windshield which also wouldn't have been a big deal but you obviously have to pay when you break something so why wasn't it fixed. On our way off of the trails at 5:30 we hit a rock in the trail and bent a tie rod. It wouldn't have been safe to drive several miles on the paved road so we called Steve, and he said he didn't have anyone to come pick us up at that time that we should "limp it back to the shop". I asked him to contact me before he billed for any repairs and then I get an email that I was charged almost $300 for the fix that should have been less than $100. We have rented machines at other places in WV before with excellent service. I would not go back to bluewell atv again.

This was our first trip so a few hints. *Get your directions to WV ATV RENTALS in advance. Some GPS send you on very back roads that are hard to navigate and if you loose signal, your screwed. * Same with the trails, Map out and highlight your trip in advance. Trails are well marked but you have to know where you are going and how to get back. *Took Ricks advice and had lunch at Corner Shop in Bramwell. A trip back in time and excellent food and service. We opted to have the UTV delivered as we were staying 45 minutes from Eagle at Trailheads Resort. The machine was delivered first thing in the morning and was clean, fueled, and ready to go. The machines are newer and are equipped with GPS which was super helpful. We had the UTV for the whole day and just sent a text to Eagle when we were done. I would definitely recommend Eagle ATV and plan on renting from them again.

Even though we didn't pay for a guide, the boss took us to the trailhead, and a couple of miles in to make sure we understood how to handle the machines in trail conditions. A word to the wise: print the directions and maps before you leave home.
