Having never needed a body shop in more than 30 years of driving, I had no idea what to look for in a body shop - brought it here because it looks like a professional facility when my car was rear ended, causing about 8 thousand dollars worth of damage. First time I went to get the car, there were issues I noticed with runs in the paint and some chips not fixed, so I did not take the car and they fixed some of the issues, but some of the smaller imperfections were not fixed. I needed the car so I took it. It was due for inspection, so I went straight from shop to inspection facility, where it failed because a rear marker light was not connected, requiring another trip to the shop. When the owner brought car to my house the last time, he admitted to issues with 'quality control' with my vehicle, and offered to take it back to fix it again. I did not follow up on this though, I thought I could live with a few runs in the paint and other relatively small issues, and decided to just deal with it and move on. Then I noticed a bigger issue - the gap between the trunk lid and bumper is uneven, and the trunk rubs the paint when I close it, causing visible marks. Day after I notice this, I got a note from the owner reminding me of their 100% guarantee to 'restore your vehicle to its condition prior to the accident.' So I sent an email to the owner, 2 weeks ago now, saying the following: "To be blunt, I think that you/your staff are either not skilled enough to fix the car correctly - or do not care enough - to meet your stated goal to 'restore your vehicle to its condition prior to the accident.' I called my insurance company because I feel like the quality of the work is insurance fraud, but they said they do not get involved in these things. I do not want to bring the car back to you for repair again, because as noted above, I have no reason to believe you can fix it correctly - remember, the first time I came to pick up the car I did not take it because of several issues with workmanship that I noticed - and I am not a trained auto body technician or a painter. While some improvements were made, there were still some flaws I noted from the first time, but I needed the car and there was some improvement so I took it. The car then failed inspection because a light was not connected, resulting in a third trip to your shop. As you noted to me at the time you brought the car to me, there were some issues with quality control when repairing my car. The options, as I see them, are for you to partially refund my insurance company, or for me to bring the car to a different shop to get it fixed correctly and send you the bill." I have received no reply to this message. I will post pictures if I can. SO, long story short, bring your car here if you want it fixed correctly, maybe, the 4th time. read more

They were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. I was able to get an appointment right away. My insurance estimated that it would be about a week before the repair was complete, but they finished in 3-4 days! They detailed and cleaned it, inside and out! My car looked better than it did when I bought it! They offered to go into detail on all of the work that was done. And just to make it sweeter, they gave me a cupcake! Honestly, I can only give good reviews about this place, I had an accident with my 2016, Nissan Altima which had one of the headlights, the front fender and the metal part that leads to the door all destroyed, but by the time it was finished at Waldrons Carstar, I couldn't believe my eyes, it looked brand new, moreso, a detailed cleaning of the interior and exterior was done, my tyres were washed.I am glad I gave it to Waldron's Carstar read more

I live in RI and commute to Ayer for work. I was putting off getting new tires until the weekend and one Thursday morning in RI everything was good until I get near RT 2 where the rain turned into snow. Near work there is a downhill and because of my tires I went right into the guard rail. So I go through the insurance process. The closest repair/tow in my policy are these guys. The tow truck came and I was already out waiting for him. Very personable. Once my car was secured I jumped in and headed to the facility. So the only complaint during the process was there is no communication. I probably called them about 5 times (they answered all my questions and remained professional) and two times they changed the completion date. I was renting a car at the time and I was under the impression I was going to pay for it (hence why I asked for the completion date). Come to find out my insurance covered it. Anyways, Once I got my car back I noticed that they did a basic interior detail and washed the car (always a plus). I proceeded to drive in the area for a bit to see how the repairs went and till this day...no issues. Not a bad spot. read more

I have to say I've been to this particular location twice and both times I was treated with the utmost professionalism. Special thanks to Diane and Rich for their customer service. Just a quick story to outline my experience, I had gotten into a car accident on a Sunday. I had AAA and called to get a tow and specified I needed it take them to car start even though they were closed. Next morning when I went in to car star my vehicle wasn't there. It turns out the tow truck driver had taken it across town to a completely different dealership. Expecting to have to deal with the runaround of contacting the tow truck Driver, AAA, and car star, I was worried I'd be in for a fight just to get the car to the proper location. Car star immediately stepped up and said they would make sure it got there and I didn't have to worry about it. My car got there the next day. After my vehicle was declared a total loss, they work with me to make sure I got the car cleaned out in a timely manner. No hassle whatsoever getting in there towards closing time to do that. On a Friday no less. I realized over the weekend that I had left my easy pass transponder on the windshield. I called in on Monday morning and they immediately said that they would run out and make sure the transponder was taken off and they would hold it for me until I got there. for those of you who have dealt with several auto body locations, this type of above and beyond is very rare. Usually I'm more worried about making sure I'm not getting taken for a sucker and having to fight for even the smallest amount of customer service. I got a fender replaced about 3 years ago. They did okay with that. My issue is that the paint job they elected to do is now peeling off the fender. It's really very poor as well as their poor customer service. They couldn't go the extra step to help a returning customer. They're uncaring and lack the expertize of a shop with quality controls. I should have driven past and should have gone to the best guy in the business in West Boylston. read more
