After having a horrendous time trying to arrange a tow for my truck through my Roadside Assistance…read morecompany, [4 calls, a full day and no service arriving] I decided to call Quality Towing this morning to get my truck to the dealership. Tim took my call, patiently listened to what I needed, quoted the price and dispatched James in less than 20 minutes. Granted I only live a mile away, but this was still amazingly prompt for a towing company. James was polite, professional, and personable. All things you want when you're stranded, even if it's in your own driveway. The tow truck itself was clean, well maintained and well equipped for the job. There was a question about being able to get my truck into neutral so a ramp truck wouldn't have been the right tool for the job, and as a former mechanic I understand the importance of having the right tool...it saves time, trouble and the customers cash, so this is something I really appreciated. Overall, a great experience and while I hope I never find myself in need of their services again, I wouldn't hesitate a second to call them if I did or recommend them to someone else in need. We did not have a spare and had no choice but to detach the camper and leave it on the side of 190. About 2 hours later when we came back the camper was gone! So, I called the State Police to find out that they towed the camper with Quality Towing (understandable, safety first)! It is late afternoon on a Friday, we call Quality towing and speak with their answering service. I did meet 5 or 6 of the kindest, most polite women who sped me through the pick up process and watched my mum in a wheelchair while I fetched the car out back. Price was typical, about a hundred bucks a day. but I was given a reimbursement form to fill out and submit to AAA. One woman in particular helped me but every other employee greeted me with an ear to ear genuine smile. Very happy with their service.

Roughly 25 minutes later, the Tow Truck arrived and dropped her car off at Sullivan Tire, sbout 1/2 mile away. He was very professional, courteous, careful not to put a scratch on her car, he made sure we were all set at Sullivan's and thanked us for using Star Towing. Driver did an excellent job and we'd call Five Star if ever we needed a tow again.

They text the date of when the car will be ready and each time have finished on the date they specified. They are very helpful when picking up and dropping off a rental car. The rental car is dropped off at Aldrich when you are done with it and when your vehicle is dropped off for repair a van from the rental agency takes you over to the rental shop to pick up the rental vehicle. Super convenient. They send out timely messages on the status of the car as they are working on it. When you are initially getting an estimate they take a look, assess the damage and then return the car and give you a date to bring it in while they order the parts. That way the car is back with you until they get parts and then you bring it in. If you find anything that might seem n0ot quite right they take you right in and fix it immediately (the same day). The women at the front desk are extremely helpful and the person who takes a look at your car is great (Jamie). I highly recommend this business for autobody work. My car looks great!

The charges on the invoice are ridiculous, unnecessary and were not authorized by me. When I asked about these fees, one of the owners had the audacity to lie about the location of my vehicle at the time of the tow and lie about the weather conditions- to give reason for the winching and the wrapping of windows- which were never an issue as it was not raining and they had the key and could have rolled up the windows themselves. In addition, they threw in some stupid yard fee, an administrative fee, and a service time fee. But they gave me a break on a gate fee of $100.00. And their idea of helping me with the bill was asking me if I wanted to give them the title to my vehicle and pay the $200.00 This place is a f**kin' joke. They may get my money for now, but I'm sure to get it back in the very near future. They aren't taking my car either. Funny how Fitchburg Police use a "Auto Body & Repair" shop and how many people lose their cars because they can't pay the bull$hit fees these vampires charge to release a vehicle.
