Unrepaired damage was discovered while having later service. Also, the paint job was a two-tone end result. (Car had a glass-out repaint 2 years ago so little excuse for not matching color.) Had the opportunity of having D & B "refix" their fix w/them & insurance but elected to not have D & B touch my car again! Sometimes "free" is not without expense, I do not trust D & B Autobody, Inc.

I was taking my car to East Main Auto because they were close and worked on my car. They had no idea what they were doing and since I am a young girl who knows absolutely nothing about cars they kept replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced just because they were expensive. I paid 1500$+ there and they did not fix anything. The final time I went there they charged me 1000$+ and told me that they can't fix my car. Well, since they didn't fix anything that I needed my car broke one day. My transmission wouldn't change gears and was literally a bomb that was just building pressure and heat. I could only go 25 MPH! I heard about beetle bug from one of my friends and called him up and he took my car. The guy was very nice and read all my lights on my dashboard and told me exactly what was wrong. It was a Friday so I couldn't get my car fixed that night because they were closed on weekends. I left it there until Monday and beetle bug fixed it! It was a mass air flow sensor that needed to be replaced. That sensor fixed my turbo too that the other place claimed to be a break booster. Beetle bug also made sure other things were fixed too so I wouldn't have another problem like that. I also had a problem the other day as well. I was driving home from school and not even 5 minutes down the road my check engine light started blinking. I was freaking out but my dad suggested to try driving it at least to my house. I started driving and 10 seconds later the check engine light started blinking again and a burning rotten egg smell started coming from my car. I had to drive to the closest gas station that would take foreign cars and they told me they won't even read my light for another hour and a half. I called beetle bug and he told me to come in and he will do it right away. He told me if it was something major he wouldn't be able to fix it right then. I drove it there and he read my lights and found out it was just a coil pack. He put it as his first priority and fixed it in less than an hour. I cannot put into words how greatful I am for this place and I hope everyone goes to him. This place is my savior

I found Beetle Bug III, specializing in VW with a single but glowing review from Jan L. On the strength of that review I took my car there for diagnosis and repair; I'm very glad I did. Tad listened to my description of the problem, asked some good questions then said that he suspected the plastic water pump impeller had broken. I asked him to check the brakes while he had the car. He called me later to confirm that was the problem. The repair was done and he called when the car was ready. When I picked up the car, he showed me the damaged impeller, he explained my brakes had about 5000 miles left on them and also pointed out that my front tires would need to be replaced soon. He concluded the transaction by stating that their work was guaranteed. Tad and his brother run an excellent shop; I highly recommend them. Tad does it again! The timing belt broke as I was driving to work on Friday morning. I called Tad and explained the problem, he was concerned that one of the systems powered by the belt might have seized to cause the failure and that it might be more than just a problem with the belt. I took my car to him after work on Friday expecting to have to leave it for a few days. When I arrived he came right out to look at the car; he took out the broken belt and checked all the pulleys, none appeared to be seized. He walked away saying he was going to see if he had a replacement belt in stock. He came back a few minutes later with a new belt in hand and some tools and proceeded to install it. A short time later he was done! It was the first time I had had my car repaired while I waited.

While one might associate the men and women who do towing of vehicles in a negative light, let me…read moredispose you of that notion. The muffler fell out of my car earlier this week. Talk about inconvenient. It was laying on the ground but after it cooled, I was able to wrestle it off. Without the muffler, my Saturn sounded like a B52 and therefore undrivable. I immediately called AAA and was promised a tow within 30 minutes. In less time than that, up comes a clean car carrier from Henry's Towing and Mark, the driver. Clean, neat, courteous and polite. He drove my car onto his flatbed and off we went. I drove with Mark in his truck cab. What? No trash? No coffee cups? No, just like you'd keep your home. It was just a tow but done with no pressure and complete efficiency. Mark and I shook hands at the end. Losing your car temporarily is always a chore but if it has to be loaded to a repair shop, Mark and Henry's Towing is a good first bet.

I continued to voice my complaints and at that point the younger man working made a literal death threat. (The older man was fine, albeit dismissive of the problem) I don't want to hear anything about 'boys being boys' or any of that type of nonsense. You do NOT make threats to anyone, no matter how frustrating you find them. I filed a police report but likely it will be ignored as all these type of interactions are. I feel very unsafe now because this person literally knows where I live. I am posting this as a warning to anyone who has to deal with them. I would welcome contact from the owner of the company, if any other employee attempts to contact me, I will call the police.
