I have had it in the shop twice and it needs to go back in there, but I can't get anyone to help me. They say someone will call but when they do, they give me excuses and say they'll set something up and I never hear from them. I've also tried to schedule an oil change online. Well, then I got a text message that said I needed to call. When I called the AI chat said it was sending me to a "live" person and I got hung up on TWICE. I am so totally frustrated with this car and with this dealership that I wish I could give it back and get a Ford Pinto! I'm sure that would be better buy for the money and less expensive than heap that I'm driving. I could go on and on about my experience, but I see so many other people have negative comments. It is so clear that the dealership obviously doesn't CARE.

My experience with Lexus has been extremely disappointing…read more I purchased a Lexus LS 500 from Lexus of Memphis. After taking delivery of the vehicle, I discovered that it had scratches on the paint. I immediately requested that the dealership correct the issue and repaint the affected area. Initially, they asked me to wait one week before bringing the vehicle in. I accepted. One week later, they postponed the appointment for another week. Again, I accepted and adjusted my schedule. When the new appointment date arrived, I proactively contacted my salesperson, Ricky Tran, for an update. To my surprise, I was informed that the vehicle still could not be painted and that they wanted to reschedule yet again for the following week. At this point, I can no longer continue waiting. The dealership keeps making promises and then delaying the work. This repeated rescheduling shows a lack of respect for their customers' time and commitments. What concerns me even more is the explanation I was given. How can a luxury automotive brand be planning to repaint a vehicle outdoors instead of in a professional body shop? Why should a simple paint repair depend entirely on the weather? And how is it possible that after three consecutive weeks, the work still has not been completed? Meanwhile, I am left without the full use of the vehicle I purchased, yet I am still required to make my monthly loan payments. I am the one bearing all the inconvenience, while the dealership continues to postpone the repair without providing a clear solution. There seems to be very little consideration for the customer's time, money, and expectations. In this situation, the customer is the one who continuously suffers the consequences. This is not the level of service, professionalism, or accountability that I would expect from a luxury brand such as Lexus. I am extremely frustrated with the way this matter has been handled and would appreciate advice on how Lexus intends to resolve this situation promptly and fairly. Thank you.

Buying a new vehicle is never a pleasant experience, but Acura of Memphis makes me never want to do it again. Bought a 2026 MDX Type S. Day of test drive, lots of fun. The MDX really sold itself. The actual buying process; long, drawn out and miserable. How is it that you spend so much time on line getting pre-qualified and filling out all their documents, only to spend another 3 hours at the dealership. We actually had an appointment time. You would think that everything would be ready for us. Paperwork, vehicle, etc., etc., but not even close. We were handed off to 4 different people. Price: Overall I think the price was fair. Not the best, but not the worst. Honda and Acura, in general, don't negotiate much. Problem I had was my price came in over MSRP. I understood the vehicle had some dealer installed accessories, but I had to ask 3 or 4 times to get an itemized list of what I was paying for. I finally got to see that list because I would not sign the contract. Even then I was not given a copy of the list with my paperwork. Finally, no follow through. We signed a piece of paper that told us we did not get a spare tire, but a tire inflator. That makes me a bit nervous, but ok. When I tried to find said tire inflator, it was no where to be found. I called my salesman and he had no clue. He said he would find out and call me back. Never heard from him. I went back to the dealership to have someone show me, only to find out the Type S does not get one due to its special tires. Someone couldn't tell me that up front or over the phone? Why did I have to go back to the dealership to find that out? What about the piece of paper I had to sign? Way more questions than answers. Now I find out 5 weeks later that the dealership has not even sent the paperwork for my tags! Really!? They told me I could come in for a new temp tag. Who has time for that when you live an hour away. If you want to speak with the store manager, good luck!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent service experience involving my 2021 Volkswagen Atlas…read moreCross Sport. On June 6, 2026, I brought my vehicle to the dealership for what should have been a routine battery replacement. The hood release system was fully functional when the vehicle was dropped off for service. During the repair, the hood release cable failed while the technician was attempting to open the hood to access the battery. The dealership was ultimately able to complete the battery replacement. However, because the hood release cable had broken, the vehicle was returned to me with a temporary workaround in place. I was informed that the hood release cable had been rerouted through the front grille area so that the hood could still be opened until a permanent repair could be performed. Upon completion of the service, I was presented with an estimate for $351.51 to repair the hood release cable and informed that the necessary part was not currently available. I was further advised that if I chose to proceed with the repair once the part became available, I would be responsible for the full cost. Wanting to better understand the situation, I attempted to contact both the Service Manager and General Manager. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to reach either individual by phone. After eventually receiving a written response from management, I was informed that the dealership's position was that the failure occurred during normal operation and that no negligence had taken place. What I found particularly concerning was the Service Manager's written statement that: "We have seen this failure multiple times on the Atlas and Cross Sport." As a customer, that statement raises obvious concerns. If this is a recurring issue that the dealership has encountered on multiple Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport vehicles, it was disappointing to see no effort made to provide goodwill assistance, cost-sharing, or any alternative resolution. From my perspective, I brought a vehicle to the dealership with a functioning hood release system. During a dealership-performed repair, that system failed while the vehicle was in the dealership's care. The dealership acknowledged both that the failure occurred during service and that they have seen similar failures multiple times before. Despite those facts, the only resolution offered was a repair estimate requiring me to assume the full cost. To be clear, I understand that mechanical components can fail and I am not suggesting that anyone intentionally damaged my vehicle. However, customer service is measured by how a business responds when something unexpected happens. In this case, there appeared to be little interest in finding a fair resolution or preserving the customer relationship. What is most disappointing is not the broken cable itself. Parts fail. What is disappointing is the lack of customer advocacy, the difficulty in reaching management, and the unwillingness to offer any form of goodwill consideration despite the circumstances surrounding the failure. Had the dealership offered to share the repair cost, provide goodwill assistance, or simply demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction, my impression would likely be very different. Instead, I was left with the impression that once the repair was complete, the responsibility became entirely mine. This experience has significantly impacted my confidence in both the dealership and its service department. As a result, I will be taking my future service and vehicle purchases elsewhere. I believe most customers would expect better communication, better accountability, and a stronger commitment to customer satisfaction when a vehicle is returned from service in a damaged condition, regardless of how that damage occurred.
