However, after he began work on our projects, it became apparent immediately that his communication skills were practically nonexistent. We were very frustrated. He did not respond to emails or texts and did not bother to take our calls. The quality of his work was shoddy, at best. His subcontractor did not use tarps while making holes in the wall for some electrical work. He left a huge mess; fine dust particles all over the house. The concrete repair on the sidewalk was done without framing. He promised to come back with a concrete saw to even it out, which he has not done. He has stopped responding to all our messages. He rebuilt a window frame in the garage with an exhaust fan. The frame has gaps on both the sides. Again, he is refusing to respond to our requests. DO NOT HIRE THE BEARDED CRAFTSMAN. YOU WILL BE UTTERLY FRUSTRATED AND DISSATISFIED.

Everything Alberto (the main guy behind TS Home Improvement) touches turns to gold and I guarantee he is the guy you want to work with. We had water damage caused by a slow leaking pipe in the wall behind our kitchen sink and we found Alberto right after learning it wasn't going to be covered by insurance. We also happened to be weeks out from the due date for our third child. After having many general contractors visit our home and give us bids, we hired Alberto. He came into our home and made an extremely stressful situation not only feel manageable, but also helped us figure out several sensible upgrades to roll into the project that have helped us love our home even more. We were stressed out to the max when he first met with us and I will never forget his patience and kindness in helping us wrap our arms around this project and figure out how to approach it. My husband and I are not particularly handy and tend to lean toward hiring work out rather than DIY. Only one example of this is that one day when I had a huge Costco order delivered on our stoop they brought the groceries into the kitchen for me without saying a thing and I didn't realize it until they had left for the day. On top of providing a remarkably smooth experience, Alberto is extremely skilled at everything he does. He is one of those people you just learn to trust with a project because he is so experienced and capable. He kept impressing us with everything he did looking better than we could have expected. All in, Alberto demo'd and repaired a bunch of framing and siding on the exterior of our house, repaired the damage in our kitchen (including floor joists and a load bearing wall with dry rot, repairing our cabinets, and replacing flooring), replaced our kitchen sink and some tiling that was broken while a plumber was fixing the pipes, completely gutted and remodeled our laundry room, including new floors and drywall, installing cabinets and building a custom waterfall butcher block washing machine box and folding counter. He also did random tasks like hang our new tv, install a light, and other miscellaneous things that were so helpful to cross off our to do list.
