We had Francisco come and repair our roof in 4/2021, and it started leaking shortly after. We've been trying to reach him for more than a year to come back because of the 2-year warranty but he hasn't responded. We've left multiple voicemails and tried calling from different numbers but we think he's blocked at least two of our numbers. Unreliable! I hate to have to write a bad review but I do believe people should know what they're getting themselves into when spending so much money on roofing . We went with landeros a couple years ago for our roof. It was warrantees for 3 years. There was a leak a few months ago still under warranty . The owner (I assume ) whininess in contact with asked me for my paperwork and if I didn't have it it sounded like he wouldn't do the warranted work. That was the first thing that was not cool. I did and I was still covered . He said he would go fix the leak and he didn't. I had to reach out several times and he finally went and didn't tell me he went or what he did. I had to again chase him Down to send me a photo and some documentation on what was what issue and what he did. Well 2 weeks ago it appears we still have the roof leak in the same spot AFTER he supposedly fixed it and AFTER we paid someone to rip out all our drywall and repair the damage caused by the roof leak. I contacted Landeros and they said they'd be out the following week. They never showed . I wasn't surprised. I messaged them and asked when they're confirm with no response . Have had on-going water penetration problems with this roof, for years. Had two different roofers out to find the leaks, they apparently only did cosmetic, quick repairs, because the leaks returned. Finally found David Landeros who took quite a bit of time tearing into the roof to find the problems. By this time I had several areas where the plywood had rotted and allowed water in. Dave's crew removed the tiles, removed and replaced several large areas of rotted plywood, then replaced the paper and flashing where needed. They did a thorough and professional job, even purchased matching paint and painted the new wood and gutters to match the house - looks like new, can't tell there was any damage. They did not have the lowest quote, but after using two low-priced roofers previously, we knew we had to hire a professional. read more

After 20 years, an inspection of our home found 4 areas of dry-rotted wood on the roof. We contracted Landeros Quality Roofing Service for repairs (and, this was not the only roofer to bid on the job or the least expensive). A great deal more work, than one probably suspects (including us), went into repairing our roof (removing tiles, replacing and priming dry-rotted wood, repairing and replacing tar paper and flashing, restoring everything back including replacing broken tiles which they supplied, painting the exposed flashing and vents to match the roof, installing a system to reduce the growth of moss, etc.). Attaching photos to illustrate just the repair on two of the dry-rotted areas, and a final one following the painting to show how incredible it looks now. It was discovered that improperly installed flashing was to blame for the dry-rooting, and that a 5th area was improperly installed and also repaired (even though signs of dry-rooting had not appeared, yet). Francisco Landeros is coming back today (9/17/2019) to perform a follow-up check of the roof after the painting was completed, to check and if necessary to replace any tiles broken from the painting. I highly recommend Landeros Quality Roofing Service and would call them again without hesitation for any future repair or maintenance of our home's roof. I hate that I have to write this, but I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I initially had a great experience, like many mentioned in previous reviews. They attempted to fix a leak in the roof, but I noticed it was still leaking. I called (since I already paid), at which time they said they'd come by to fix it. They did, but it still leaked. Since then they haven't been very responsive. I finally got in touch, at which time they said they'd come by on three different occasions, but never showed up. There was no phone call or follow up. Stood me up when it came time to fix their work. Twice. Francisco sounded like he really knew his stuff. The day of, Cesar did the work, and it looked good when I went out now and then to see the progress. Francisco came to the front door to pay, and I didn't do a final check of the work. Big mistake. The metal flashing stops partway down the roof, they left a mess on the steps of the stucco they had done (would have only taken a quick sweep to be professional) and didn't even look at the mold inside the attic, which we discussed prior to the job. The most unprofessional company I have ever contracted. My family hired Landeros to fix our leaking roof over two years ago, but the roof continued to leak post-repair. We attempted to contact Landeros by MULTIPLE different phone numbers, as they blocked several of our phone numbers, but they refused to come take another look at the roof or refund our money. If possible, I would rate this company minus10 stars, but one does only what is permitted, so it is only one. In May of 2020, we hired Landeros Quality Roofing to fix the leak. The company owner David Landeros sent his son Francisco to repair our roof. They charged $1,075, which we paid in full. A warranty was issued for two years. After the first rain, the roof leaked at the same spot. A few times we unsuccessfully tried to reach Francisco, but finally got David himself. He sent Francisco once more, who "fixed" the roof again until the next rain. This time we wrote to David asking to refund our expenses. David Landeros examined the damaged ceiling and agreed to completely refund our expenses at the beginning of the year. We are still waiting for a refund and he does not pick up the phone and does not respond to e-mails and messages. Beware of fraud and deception. I asked for quotes through Yelp to fix my roof. Francisco scheduled a roof evaluation. Francisco promptly gave me a competitive quote for the work that was necessary. They replaced 40 tiles that were split, installed new roof vents, installed 3 new fascia boards and replaced some plywood that was rotting and fixed all of the crown tiles with a metal cover. They also cleaned all of the valley drain guides that were plugged with leaves and dirt. Integrity should be their motto. I had a suspected roof leak and called them out to inspect it. They came out quickly and exactly at the time given. Very professional and friendly. Fully listened to my concerns and thoughts without interruption. After inspecting the possible problem area. David reported to me that there was no leak. The water staining I saw underneath was old and from a leak prior to my ownership. David could VERY easily told me it was a major problem that needed to be addressed immediately and charged me thousands. I would have never known. Instead, he told the truth and saved me a very costly bill. While up on my roof, he did find a few things that needed to be fixed. When he came down, he showed me pictures he took on his phone. Again, this was another opportunity for him to hook me on a costly repair bill. He did not. Educated me on how to fix the small things myself and said the couple medium things could wait. They weren't prompt returning phone calls when I asked for an estimation of the repairs he suggested were needed after checking out the leak stain. He left me with suggestions and probabilities of what was causing the leak. I had to call him three times to get an estimation response. When my call was finally returned, I felt he gave me an exorbitant estimation for the suggestions and probabilities of what could have caused the leak. After further examination of the leak, by another person, the leak had nothing to do with the suggestions and probabilities that were given to us. If we had gone along with his suggestions of replacing the rubber pieces on the vents and replacing the nails with screws on the tiles at a price of 1100.00 we still would have had the leak! read more

We received our project proposal on March 6, 2020. We were quoted $4,500 to pressure wash our roof, replace any broken tiles, paint all vent and flashings, clean out all gutters, wire brush seams and apply caulking on seams and acrylic coat the inside of gutters to seal. We dealt with Fransisco and although he made several trips to our home and did a portion of the work, he for whatever reason was unable to complete it. We were told by David that Fransisco now owned his business and refused a partial refund of $2,400. However back in July Fransisco said he would send us a check for $2,000. We have waited and its now October and still not a word. I would advise anyone to think twice about this company. I have photos and the project proposal if anyone would like to check it out. November 2015: Just had my roof repaired by David Landeros and his crew. Landeros Roofing responded to a leak that I detected from this season's early rains. David came out and assessed the damage -- taking pictures of damage and discussing repair work -- and arranged to come out to repair the roof a week later. Service was excellent. I got a call the day before to confirm the appointment, and the crew showed up on time the following day. They performed a complete roof inspection, and located another area with damaged tiles and deteriorated roofing paper. They repaired this area at no additional charge. David Landeros and his crew have been taking care of our roof since Responsible Roofing shut down. He's now gotten his own license and has continued to provide responsive service to the quirks of our Eichler like tar and gravel roof -- some sloped parts and some flat. In addition, David has improved on a sheet metal treatment that we first experimented about 3 years ago, where we got so fed up with painting and re-painting south facing fascia boards that we wrapped some in Bonderized metal. David's work on this has been superior to the early trials by someone else. He's gotten the surface fully flat so there are no deflections, obvioius nailheads, etc. like before. Painted or unpainted it's a big improvement. We plan to continue to rely on Landeros. read more

About 11:30pm last night, I noticed a leak coming from my kitchen ceiling after I kept getting dripped on while loading dishes into the dishwasher. I have a skylight there and have never had a problem before. I googled "how to fix a leak around your skylight" and decided that it was too big of a repair for me. I checked Yelp and also a site called Service Magic for referrals. The top rated guy on Yelp couldn't come out for 1 week but the top rated David Landeros Quality Roofing on the Service Magic site came out at 2pm, gave me an estimate of 250.00 to fix it on the spot with a 1yr guarantee! He took pictures of it to show me what was wrong and then showed pictures of it repaired. (Apparently the company that installed the skylights, didn't include the sealing as part of the service) Since I was traveling out of town for the next 2 days, I was thrilled that David could do the work so quickly and efficiently and I could leave with peace of mind instead of a bucket in the middle of my kitchen floor!
